The temple garden's flowers were exotic. Strange beauties from all over the galaxy, each one contributing to the aesthetic of the land in it's own way. Some were prettier than others, but all had their part. The most vibrant purple petals and blood-stained lilies were rimmed with wilting brown monstrosities, to bring out the beauty in the colors. Padawan Oluja often compared himself to the brown flowers. Without a diversity of background color, the brightest would not shine bright at all. Besides, Tyyni quite liked the color brown.
Onlookers would see a small robed Hutt, tail curled around his large belly, eyes closed, meditating in a ring of roses. A breath in. A breath out. Tyyni reached his mind out to the cosmos, and felt the life around him. Small plants and insects. Worthless little beings, but beings worth protecting nonetheless. All life was important. Even the bugs.
The Hutt had been waiting for his new master here for a few minutes. He hadn't heard much about her, but felt excitement anyways. It was about time his instructors bumped him up to Padawan status. He had spent many years as a youngling, due to his race's slow aging, but he finally felt ready.
Tyyni let his tail sway over the roses, feeling their soft petals. It was almost time to meet Master [member="Quenladose"], and Tyyni felt butterflies in his large stomach. What if he disappointed her? What if he wasn't what she was expecting? He opened his eyes, revealing beautiful emerald pools, and sighed. I guess I'll find out soon enough, he thought to himself.
