Am I More Than You Bargained For? (Siobhan)

Mirien sighed, rolling over in the bed. With a shift, she lifted her head and laid it gently upon two voluptuous pillows. A soft smile upon her lips as she slowly started to awaken from what had been a most joyous evening spent behind the magical curtain of blackness.

With another calming sigh, she opened her eyes, looking up to Siobhan, from her most comfortable chest. "You know Siobhan, it's like noon, we both might want to think about getting up now." She said with a soft nudge to her dear friend, as she slowly shifted back to her side of the bed. With a bit of a fumble, Mirien managed to grab a hold of the satin robe that was laying upon the nightstand. Standing from the bed, she slipped it over her shoulders, and tossed her hair back over her shoulders.

"Perhaps we should send down for breakfast?" She spoke softly as she stepped back to the bed, leaning down to give Siobhan a kiss upon the cheek.

Needless to say Siobhan did not like the idea of getting up. Lazing around in bed sounded like a tremendously good way to spend at least a more hours to her. Especially if she had a Mirien-shaped blanket draped over her body and the brunette's head was rested against her ample bosom, which made a most delightful pillow to lie on.

She groaned slightly in annoyance when Mirien nudged her, clearly unwilling to get up, though then finally she stirred slightly, in time to oggle Mirien as she put on her satin robe. "Do we have to?" Siobhan said in what was probably a rather whiny tone. "I'm comfortable here and I like you just fine where you are." Finally she relented after Mirien stepped back to the bed, with Siobhan eagerly leaning into the kiss. She had to admit that her stomach was rumbling slightly, much as the sound annoyed her. Clearly she could use something substantial to eat. "Alright...you win, Mistress Nova," she winked at Mirien before pulling her into a deep kiss.

Then Siobhan finally arose from her bed, grabbing the red satin robe casually tossed over the nightstand and slipping it on, while trying to tame her dark brown mane, which was difficult because it was just as unruly as its owner! Her telekinetic hand hit the comm device thingie, notifying Shari that the pair would like some breakfast. In all likelhood having breakfast in bed and then going back to a vigorous session of crochet was too much to ask.

Mirien smiled, "Yes, unfortunate as it is, there is a whole galaxy out there waiting for us to take by storm." Walking to the dresser, she started to fish for clothing for the day, not really sure what she'd wear at all.

"I know... I know, and if I could I'd stay forever with you, but you've not heard my com going off.... I've got about three dozen messages I need to sort through." She smirked, "I'm certain I'll have the time while you are in the shower."

Mirien happily let Siobhan drawn her into another kiss, "You know, I love it when you call me that." Something about Mistress, just had the most attractive ring to it in the morning.

"You know, I was thinking, maybe I could take today off... Spend some time with you. Maybe work on some training or something..." Oh yes, always with the work, but at least that was something that could prove to be promising. "You did mention it when we first ran into each other."

Far as Siobhan concerned the Galaxy could save itself for a change. Or whatever. "You're so cute right now, you know that?" Siobhan snarked. Clearly she would have to get payback somewhere down the line. Somehow spontaneously making out with Mirien in public, such as at the workplace, sounded like a very good idea to her.

She pulled Mirien further towards her until she was pressed against her body. "I know you do. Maybe I should call you it more often!" she purred, much like a cat, her breath being like a sweet caress against Mirien's ear before she turned her attention to the brunette's lovely neck, planting small kisses and nibbling on it. Mirien would undoubtedly have plenty of messages to work through while Siobhan spent her time monopolising all the hot water in the shower and in general dawdling around. Apparently the fact that you could afford various beauty products and cosmetic articles meant that you had to buy them all...and then suddenly realised that you could not make up your mind.

Aside from messages relating to actual work, Mirien might find a message from a popular magazine called Ashira's Angels, a link to the popular fan site shortstacksoffirereign.net, fanmail that may contain bad poetry and also a news report about the latest debate in the senate. Said debate had originally been about new legislation to bolster the Republic's army and thus turn the tide against the Sith, who possessed the magical power to turn armies and fleets into mere background noise. However, one senator had all of a sudden suggested that the Republic and the Protectorate merge.

Siobhan was about to head to the shower when she heard her fellow brunette speak again, so she turned to face her. "I did, and I meant it, dear. So sure, go ahead, call in at your office and say you're off for today. I'll make time for you and we can work on training. Think I have just the right ideas."

Mirien chuckled, lifting a brow as she glanced over her shoulder. "That's just cause I've got nothing on, under this robe." She said with a wink, before she finally pulled out a pair of looser fitting pants, and a simple t-shirt.

The woman had little intentions of dressing up, when she really had no plans of going into the office. Not that she wasn't capable. Mirien did much rather enjoy finer clothing, and being lady-like... Well, lady like everywhere but the ... Yeah, kiddies sorry about that!

"Mmm," She moaned softly as she relaxed back against Siobhan just a little bit. "I wouldn't mind it..." As long as it's not at work... "If only we could stay longer ...." But she'd already long dismissed the idea.

"Quite true." She managed a little grin as she pulled her com into her lap, "I suppose they will survive one day without me." A sigh came as she let Siobhan head towards the shower, and took a seat on the bed. "Why is it, when you say idea, all I can think is there is going to be a roof crashing down on my head sometime today?" Teasing lightly as Sio finally headed off.

Her eyes went to the screen, and slowly she began to sort through the messages. The Ashira's Angels, got her attention for sure, Hmmm best not let Siobhan know about that one .... She after all had little interest in posing for them. Before going on, she typed a quick message to her personal secratary, letting the woman know she'd not be making it in today, though mentioned no reason why not. It was then that the latest senate debate popped up. Merging the Republic and Omega? As if! There could not be a worse idea in the galaxy. And fourty-eight exarchs? Who comes up with this stuff!?

Once Siobhan was in the shower, Mirien waited patiently. Her turn would come eventually, but for now it meant her clothing was laid beside her, most neatly folded. Some part of her thought... To hell with the shower, I'm only going to get mussed up again. Might as well just save the energy for later...

It was Mirien's luck that her boss and friend happened to be an extremely oversexed nympho, since Siobhan was quite happy to pose for Ashira's Angels. If she knew about the magazine's interest in Mirien, she would probably instead on her fellow brunette posing in a sexy leather outfit!

In any case after some time Siobhan had relaxed enough in the hot water, washed her hair and run through her usual beauty routine, so she climbed out of the shower and put on a towel. Oddly, the towel was very small and only covered those places that needed covering to prevent the minds of innocent kiddies from being damaged. As might have become obvious by now, modesty was not Siobhan's strong suits.

"Any saucy mails? Fanmails and love poems from admirers? I think Lady Anael took a shine to you," Siobhan asked teasingly with a mischievous twinkle in her remaining organic eye when she approached Mirien. "Or more news about how the 'omnipotent' Dark Lord is reducing the Republic's armies to background noise and the Protectorate is being mismanaged?" That was said in a less playful, more scathing tone of voice. It was probably for the best not to get Siobhan into a mood where she felt like ranting about the state of the Galaxy.

"Breakfast should be ready soon," she affectionately ran a hand across Mirien's shoulder and down her back before turning away to get dressed. After spending some time rummaging through her rather large closet, she finally retrieved a pair of gourgeous, hip-hugging black leather pants and pulled them on.

"Oh, you know ... Just a few." A wink followed, "The usual sort of thing." A slight bit of a pinkish hue spread upon her cheeks, "I had been wondering about her, I wasn't sure if it was just me noticing that." Not that she minded in the least. The attentions she'd gotten since arriving on Kaeshana had been rather flattering, and fun.

"Now about the Republic ... I caught wind of them wanting to merge with the Protectorate? Some kind of grand alliance to end all alliances. Sounds like a bunch of poppycock to me." She gave a small shrug, "But I suppose that's what happens considering the current leadership of both..."
A bright content smile returned to her lips as she set the datapad aside, done with work for now. She arched her back into Sio's hand for a moment, before she pulled away. Only turning around to give her a quick peck on the cheek.

"Back in a minute." She said softly as she grabbed her clothing and headed for the shower, with some small miracle there might have been some hot water left for her.

She'd never been one for long showers, and soon enough appeared back out in the bedroom, her hair, damp still and pulled up into a loose ponytail, completely dressed. "I suppose we should head down?"

"She is cute and has some nice legs. I want to hear all the saucy details if something fun happens," Siobhan said teasingly. No, she was not a merciless troll at all.

She made a face when she heard the news about the Republic and huffed. "Fools. And I imagine the 'Great Protector' would want to be Vice-Chancellor or Supreme Commander? After he rode boldly and well into the greatest military debacle in Protectorate history. I wonder whether the Jedi would start getting prissy about us doing 'darkside' things if they merged." As might be apparent, Siobhan had strong opinions on a number of things. It was best not to encourage her to start ranting about them.

Needless to say Siobhan was oggling Mirien when she left for the refresher, before likewise going through her messages. There was business stuff, more business stuff, the news Mirien had heard about and tons of fanmail on her Spacebook account.

It was a bit disappointing that Mirien was completely dressed when she emerged, but then one had to think of the kiddies. "Sure. Come on, darlin'," with that Siobhan got up from her bed and, as she passed Mirien, grabbed one of her butt cheeks to roam over it with a hand and grope it before giving it a good slap before quickly leaving the room. It had not been in public! The dining room, which could be described as tastefully opulent, was on the second floor. Breakfast had been served by pretty servant girls and was spread out over a long table. Presumably Mirien would get just what she liked because she had been at the abode of the Kerrigan-Alcori household for quite a while and Siobhan knew intimately just what her fellow brunette's tastes were.

Mirien smiled, "Delightfully cute," Her skin grew a bit more pink, "Oh, you know me, I'm not one to kiss and tell." She said with a wink as she tapped Siobhan playfully on the nose.

"Agreed." The brunette said simply, not wanting a full scale rant before she'd gotten her breakfast. It seemed a smart idea to keep her thoughts on the subject brief as possible. At least, until she had some food in her stomach.

Mirien gave a bit of a squeal and a jump as Siobhan unexpectedly, (well Miri didn't expect it, but she should have) grabbed and groped her toosh. Not that she was complaining, yet! "Hey! Miss handsy..." She protested mildly as they headed out the bedroom door and to the dining room. A fair bit of fruit had been set out, and waffles ... Mirien's favorites, and taking a seat, she happily dug in.

By contrast, Siobhan happened to be the sort to...brag about her sexual escapades. Of course, she would be fine if Mirien let her join in. Then there would be no need to tell!

Siobhan looked completely innocent when she heard her fellow brunette's mild protest. "What? Your butt's just begging to be grabbed and I have nimble fingers," she winked at her. It had not been in public after all! Again, it was just Mirien's luck that she happened to be employed by a terribly oversexed Countess who saw no reason to hide how...close she was to a number of her employees.

Regardless, the two ladies had breakfast and probably dug in heartily. After all, there was waffles, plenty of those! For the most part Siobhan focused upon digging in with gusto. As has been said a few times she was a big eater, but then the activities she indulged in tended to cost a lot of energy. So Mirien was spared from further grabby hands incidents, though Siobhan's foot might have made affectionate contact with the brunette's knee and rubbed a good deal.

However, eventually they were presumably done and Siobhan arose, gesturing for Mirien to follow her while the servant girls cleared the table. It was quite likely that they had left a good deal of food behind, since it was a lot, but it would not go to waste since the servants would eat it. Or, if they were not fast enough, Grrbyrr would swallow it all up. While all that happened Siobhan led the way down to the basement, where the gymnasium might be familiar to the former Inquisitor from certain, ahem, activities. Such as the veneration of the Goddess Ardarvia since there was a shrine for her on this level.

The training room of the Firemane villa was large and spacious. It was filled with several training dummies and a simple command on a console could open doors to unleash training droids, ranging from simple remotes to practice blaster deflection against to specialised kill bots constructed to be more than a match for force-users. Likewise the room itself was well stocked with adequate exercises and drilling space and equipment for training. Various sets of weights, benches and tension machines shared the room with several ridiculously large, heavy rocks. Rocks so big that they would probably crush a man if they were dropped on him. They varied in weight, though neither woman would probably be able to lift them through physical strength alone without the Force, with the heaviest weighing several tons.

"Now to work. You have considerable aptitude for telekinesis, even if you don't remember your training, so I think it's the best to start with an exercise in levitation and in maintaining focus," she pointed to the rocks. "Start with one. Not the heaviest because those weigh several tons. Pick one and lift into the air with your mind. Once it's stable...try to move it. Levitate it for as long as possible." It was best to start small. Well, small was relative since even all of the rocks were bloody big and heavy, but the point still stood.

"By the way, that whole innocent look," She motioned to all of Siobhan, "That you're giving me right now, you just can't pull it off. Not when I've a very good idea of what goes on in your mind...." Mirien chuckled lightly, "Well, there was that thing .. the other night that you did with those nimble fingers that I really enjoyed... I guess I can't complain about that!"

After their meal was over, Miri followed eagerly behind Siobhan down to the basement. The oh, so very fun and entertaining basement. The training room, was one room, she hadn't visited before, but then she'd really not gotten much chance to explore, as other activities tended to occupy her time.

Her lips twisted into a bit of a frown as she looked from Siobhan, to the rocks as her friend explained what the training would begin with today. "I wish I did remember..." Spoken softly to herself. It still pained her how little she knew of her past. Though, more recent clues

A sigh followed as she slowly stepped forward, and reached out into the force drawing upon the fragile threads of power, carefully wrapping them around a single one of the large stones. For a moment it shuddered, before it started to slowly lift into the air at her command. It took her a while longer before she had anything that could be considered a stable and sure grip upon it. Only then did she pull it towards the both of them, closer but stopped about three feet from them. A minute perhaps passed before she gave it a small push, letting the stone spin slowly in the air. A smile formed upon her lips, happy that she'd managed that much so far. For one who couldn't remember her training, and what little she did know being instinct, at least it was comforting to know that there were still a few things she actually could control all on her own.

"Good. Maintain your grip, will it to move away. You do not remember your training, but your body does. Using the Force is all about will. Feel it, visualise what you want to accomplish in your mind, then pull at the right threads. All it takes is will and the right push," Siobhan spoke as she observed Mirien's efforts.

Then she pointed to another rock. This one was a good deal bigger and heavier. "Pick that up. Take what time you need. Levitate both rocks and send them spinning across the room. For as long and as fast as you can. As tiring as it may be at the start, don't pour too much energy into one motion. It'll only tire you out more. Don't doubt yourself. The Force obeys the moment you believe and assert your will."

Mirien nodded slowly, paying more mind to the stone she was holding than anything else, though she heard Siobhan well enough. She sighed softly, "I hate that it remembers, but my mind doesn't. Truly hate it." To this day that still bothered her greatly. Unfortunately there was little she could do about it.

With a little more effort she sent the first rock away from her, and across the room to what felt like a safe distance so she could deal with the second stone. The second took a bit more effort and energy as she lifted it from the floor. As she pulled upon the tendrils of the force, a few minutes passed before she felt she had a stable grip upon the massive stone. With a bit of a wave of her fingers, she sent the second off to join the first as both spun with seemingly relative ease in the air.

[member="Mirien Valdier"]

"You will remember in time, dear. And you'll be...magnificient," Siobhan said sweetly. Not sweet like honey, more like the purr of a cat. As Mirien secured a stable grip upon the massive rock and sent it flying after the first one she had lifted, a door right behind her had suddenly opened, though barely a sound was made.

Behind her a skeletal battle droid would manifest, having seemingly barely made a sound despite its large frame, which hinted at the fact that it was better designed than a common automaton. It was armed with an electro-staff and integrated blasters built into its wrists. In a flash it would unleash a stream of blaster bolts towards the former Inquisitor, firing rapidly. She would probably have have limited time to react before she got riddled with bolts, though naturally the blasters were set on stun and stuff. It was totally a coincidence that the sort of looked like how an HRD looked once you tore off the skin.

"I truly hope you are right in that." But already so many years had passed her by with nothing more than feelings of familiarity, places that she felt she'd been before, or were important to her, but no memories came with them. Just the feelings. A thought that was most distracting to her as one of the stones suddenly dipped in the air, Mirien nearly dropping it before she gained control again. Distractions clearly were a bad thing for the former Inquisitor.

Behind her, she heard nothing as the door opened and released the battle droid onto the floor with them. A sense of danger welled up within her, the only warning she'd get as a volley of blaster bolts whizzed through the air.

With only fractions of seconds to react, a choice would have to be made and quickly as she darted away behind one of the other rocks in the room. Hoping to get there in time to use it for cover from the advancing droid. Unfortunately Mirien was not quick enough. The women yelped loudly as one of the bolts grazed her organic leg, causing it to go numb. Stun bolts were most unpleasant even on the best of days. It was enough of a problem, causing her to nearly lose control over the larger of the stones. A balancing act that already she was hating. An uncontrolled wave of telekinetic power was sent in the droids direction, hoping to smash it against the far wall, and end it quickly.

[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

[member="Mirien Valdier"]

The wave of telekinetic power was uncontrolled but it was, well, fething powerful! There were times for subtlety, and there was time for a brutish, blunt force approach. As it was the droid was engulfed by the forceful blast and thrown through the air at tremendous speed to crash into the wall with a sickening crunch. Limbs broke, important systems were badly damaged, though the droid did get a few shots off with its blaster weapons, though whether they hit were another question.

As the smoke cleared and the air was rank with the smell of burnt electronics Siobhan approached Mirien. With a casual grip she stabilised the stones and gently brought them down to the ground. "You alright? Do you want something to drink?" she asked softly, though the expression on her face was entirely unapologetic. After all, Siobhan happened to be a believer in the school of hard knocks. She gave Mirien a soft kiss and then casually levitated a glass of water over for her.

"You have potential and power. Press the right trigger button and you show it. But what you need is focus. A momentary loss of that, and the results can be terrible. I know you are good at sensing things. Probably better than I am. Don't doubt, simply act. That was a good telekinetic blast though."

Mirien cursed a little bit as she half limped, half drug her organic leg along behind her as she moved out from behind the cover she'd found. The woman sighed as Siobhan took over the stones and brought them to the floor with ease. "Water would be great, thanks." She said softly only a moment before Siobhan kissed her, bringing a smile to her lips. Reaching out she happily accepted the glass has it was floated to her, instantly she took a few large gulps from it and sighed as Sio spoke.

"I know, I doubt myself a lot more than I should." She gave a small shrug, "I shouldn't. There isn't a reason to given all that I've been through, and came out on top. I should be perfectly confident in what I can do. But that's just it, I'm not sure what I can do. What I'm entirely capable of these days. Some days, it frightens me if I'm to be honest." Mirien managed a smile as she limped over to take a seat nearby.

"Always hated stun bolts, the damn things don't always put you down. Sometimes, they just leave a leg numb. And well, it's nearly always the organic leg that get's gotten by such things." Idly she leaned down, and rubbed at the numbness she was still feeling.

[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

[member="Mirien Valdier"]

"People give fancy speeches about conquering and overcoming fear as if it's something you can flip off once you get the right switch. That's bollocks. Point is not to let yourself be overtaken by it. You have great potential, plenty of skill, you just need to believe in yourself and in that you can acquire the control." That counted as Siobhan's attempt at a pep talk. Unfortunately she had absolutely zero talent for healing and so she could use the Force to soothe Mirien's organic leg and free her of the numbness she was feeling.

Still she walked over to her as the brunette took a seat nearby. "I know I believe in you," she added softly, reaching out to stroke over her shoulder, then smiled slightly. "You know I'll kiss it all better. Or massage it." Well, this was Siobhan, so obviously she would make a lame attempt at innuendo. Her very skilled, nimble fingers rubbed over Mirien's leg, trying to help her with the numbness she was feeling.

She paused for a few moments, presumably giving Mirien time to recover a bit. "Speaking of blocking incoming bolts, do you know how to summon a force barrier? Well, if you don't remember, you'll learn now. Take your time till your leg feels like moving again, I need you to draw upon the Force. Ignore everything else, including me, don't try to search in your memories, just give yourself to the moment. And imagine the strongest protection you can imagine encasing you, a wall of pure durasteel that bats any rounds away. Visualise that in your mind and then will it. You have considerable skill in telekinesis, so draw upon that. It can summon a shield to protect you."

Mirien nodded with a sigh. "I hope someday, I can learn to have faith in myself. I'm sure ... in time I will learn that my skills are there, if only I trust in them more."

She smiled a bit more as Siobhan came and took a seat nearby. "It means a lot to me." No one had ever actually said they believed in her before. The feeling those simple words generated was truly amazing for her. She chuckled a little as Sio offered to kiss it better, "Massage ... Mmm, would be wonderful." Grinning as her dear friend started to work her very skilled fingers over her leg. "It's a nerve overload, it'll go away soon enough." It still didn't make it any less annoying for her.

Mirien frowned as she briefly searched her memory for the skill, but it was just a feeble attempt for something she already knew as not there. Such things frustrated her to no end. Right now she was still waiting on her leg to get over the stun bolt, annoying things they were. "I hope you know, I appreciate very much all you are doing for me." She said softly as she took a moment to lovingly stroke Siobhan's hair.

After a few more minutes, she pulled away, shook out her leg and stood tentatively on it, just testing it. It still tingled a little bit, but at least it obeyed her commands. She gave a nod to Sio, "Suppose I'll try it now that my leg is feeling a bit better."

The brunette took in a deep breath and let it out slowly as she closed her eyes and started to pull upon the tangled threads that made up the force. It was difficult for her to leave her memories alone, to try not to look there for knowledge, but even she was beginning to understand how much of a fruitless effort that was.

It took her a while more, to start to truly ignore all the things that were in the room. One by one, she let things, and the presence of Siobhan slip away as she drew herself deeper into the force. With care, she started to build a wall pulling in all the strength she'd found in her telekinetic powers. Powers that she trusted, and believed in. The faintest of a shimmer had developed in the air around her, indicating something was there. Now, how strong the barrier she'd made had yet to be discovered, but at least she had something up there to try and protect herself.

Siobhan watched Mirien's efforts then when she felt the surge of Force energy build up and the shimmering barrier of force protection form, she tossed rocks at her. No, not those ridiculously heavy ones she had just expected Mirien to lift. But rather small ones, coming from all sides at great speed and velocity.

Now, tiny rocks might be, well, tiny but a skilled telekinetic specialist could accelerate a pebble to the speed of a slug sniper shot. Siobhan did not really have the patience for ballistakinesis the way the Zeison Sha practiced it, but it was not just size that mattered. Her intent was quite simply: To probe and test the strength of Mirien's barrier by putting pressure on it. The onslaught of small rocks was not designed to seriously hurt her, but it would home in on weak spots in her wall and seek to exploit them with a volley that seemed to never end and came at her from several angles. Every wall had weak spots, after all. One might say that the key point lay less in creating a totally impregnable barrier than in being able to sustain it against pressure and quickly compensate for the weaknesses once they were identified, knowing just when to pour in more energy to strengthen and sustain it. In the past Siobhan's modus operandi had been to simply power through whatever attacks her opponents dished out, but times had changed and she was, though she hated to admit it, a less agile woman and far more reliant on the Force. As a consequence she had become highly skilled in summoning the Force to shield her like a protective cocoon.

Otherwise the explosion that tore Shadow's space station apart would have killed her instantly and there would have been no body floating around in space to recover. So she would test Mirien's response to that before moving on to greater attacks, such as a powerful telekinetic blast. Force Lightning was ruled out for now because she did not want to risk damaging the brunette's prothesis in case her barriers were not up to the task of protecting her.
