PERSONALITY:
Easily excitable and borderline hyperactive. Alyija is a mix of selfish and selfless sentiments. She is ambitious and greedy, ruled by a single minded compulsion to succeed when matters of material wealth are involved yet she remains empathetic and kind with a distaste for mindless cruelty and brutality.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
(+) Skilled mechanic, enthused by vehicles and droids alike, Alyija gets a thrill from design and repair work she's been doing since she was a child.
(+) Passionate xenophile, curious about the various life and culture in the galaxy and quick to understand and respect local customs
(+) Diplomatic, a combination of empathy, charm and a touch of latent Force power means she knows how people tick and get what she wants

(-) Power hungry, despite a friendly and generally kind demeanour, Alyija secretly lusts for power and wealth. While not cruel enough to trample others underfoot for it, she struggles to resist such a lure.
APPEARANCE:
Of average size but slim build. Alyija has a youthful and cheerful appearance emboldened by short, messy, dirty brown hair and a patchwork of freckles around her nose. Considered reasonably attractive by members of her species but a lack of care is put into her appearance, she will almost always have traces of dirt and oil on her face, hands or hair. A childhood spent mainly working in mines and cave networks means she's very pale. She favours less extravagant, simple clothing but rarely seen without a pair of goggles resting above her forehead.
BIOGRAPHY:
Alyija, or Aly for short, was raised on the planet Geonosis. Her parents were part of a mining rush as rare alloys were rediscovered deep in the planet's core. Unfortunately they passed away in unknown circumstances, leaving the young girl to grow up raised by other miners who only kept her around so long as she could prove herself useful. The child would quickly learn the maintenance of the various mining droids and vehicles needed in the tunnels and occasionally would barter for supplies with the small recovering pockets of Geonosian hives. During her free time, Alyija would love to explore the ancient droid factories and Geonosian architecture whose grandeur stood in contrast to the grimy mining tunnels where she lived and worked. Occasionally she would even visit the Geonosian hives themselves who despite mistrusting outsiders grew a measure of respect for the innocent unlucky child so fascinated by their people. It was here Alyija developed her tolerance and xenophilia, where a species largely rejected by the wider galaxy as nasty in personality and grotesque in appearance was instead a welcome change of pace from the monotony of her life. Now of age, she seeks an escape into the stars above.
COMPANIONS:
A small mining probe droid, TT-12, was Alyija's friend during her mining days. Although the droid was a simple machine, Alyija managed to give the droid a sentient mind over the years through continuous improvement. The droid's cautious personality stands in contrast to his friend's yet his advice is rarely heeded.
