Ambitious and driven, Alva Calvarona is a woman with grandiose dreams. Despite being the second princess of the Royal Family of Crina, Alva desired more. Being second in line meant she would not ascend to the throne and become the rule of her homeworld. Even knowing she would inherit control of the shipyards and become a close adviser of her elder sister, just as their younger sister would also do but who would take a seat on the civil committee instead of the shipyards or such, Alva was ill content with earning less than the title of Queen. Her desire to become the highest authority and reach heights of glory and fame such as Lady Crina the first Queen had pushes the Crinan woman to truly rise and become the greatest she can be, though this has also led her to be ruthless as well.
In addition, due to her world's isolation and relative lack of contact with outside forces, she is rather xenophobic. Alien species, specifically non-humans, are an oddity to Alva as she finds they are both hideous creatures and likely owe their place to the larger human population that fills most of the galaxy. However, as a lady of court she is at least well mannered. Having received the best education and learning possible on Crina she is not as lost as the average farm when dealing with outside forces. Studying at the Academy of Cosmina on her homeworld as well has provided her with knowledge to wield the force in the unique nature her people believed to be the work of magic.
BIOGRAPHY
Born to the Calvarona Family, the Royal House on Crina, Alva has lived a fairly privileged and groomed lifestyle. Given access to the greatest education one can have on her homeworld, even attending the famed and renown Academy of Cosmina for Practitioners to study magic, her world's understanding of the force. Much of her young life was filled with learning etiquette and to teach her the necessary manners in order to young day rule in the event her elder sister perished for any reason, and to take over the Crinan shipyards and become the first princess's adviser.
Learning a wide range of talents such as basic force abilities and even a degree of elemental control, specifically fire, from the Cosmina Academy, Alva considered her training as a Practitioner to be her most enjoyable experiences. Her dreams to become as great a Queen as Crina herself perhaps had to do with such. A troubling fact for Alva though was that her older sister, the first princess, was also quite adept in those studies along with the others, though her sister leaned more toward cryomancy in the Cosmina courses.
The ongoing threat of the rebels though often troubled her family who often worried about their safety. However, it was their eternal fortune that the Academy at Cosmina and the capital of Stefania were strongholds that the rebels the royalists had been fighting the last few centuries could never threaten truly without facing the main forces of the Royal Family's followers. Though the mountain range of Titania and city of Andreea where the Criana shipyards rested were often contested. Nonetheless Alva was not daunted by the danger they posed to her world's stability. In fact she felt that the conflict with the rebellion was her chance to achieve the same level of greatness the first queen held. A war had not been had like this since those times, and if she could pull off the same feats Crina of history had in stopping the war then she could reach the heights of glory she desired.
The recent rise in the rebels efforts pressing in on the Capital though have left the Royal Family little choice in the end but to accept the help of an outside force that had been in the area and seemed the most likely to interfere minimally in their worlds affairs afterwards. In the end though they had to agree to giving the Imperials full use of their world as the new Imperial Capital, though they still hold local authority over their people, the Imperial Remnant would be the new high authority.
Feeling her aspirations stifled, Alva now looks to rising up through the Imperial System, and should they ever leave her world to establish the Capital on another world, she aims to step in someday as the moff, and Queen, of Crina. Should such be within her grasp at such time.

- Strong in the force, Alva comes from a long line of powerful Practitioners on her homeworld. Descended from Crina whose name the world shares since her time, while it does not guarantee anything, it certainly didn't hurt her pedigree.
- Ambitious, Alva is driven and even ruthless in her pursuit for advancement. She may not be Queen of Crina or first in line, but she'll find a way somehow someday.
- Fit, coming from a world with slightly higher than average gravity has left Alva more well toned than most women from noble houses might be. It certainly didn't hurt that as a Practitioner from Crina's bloodline she went through the Cosmina Academy's regime.
