Coruscant

She stood out by the rooftops edge. The landing bay was nearby. Her Juhana robes were exotic and colorful but masked carefully by the low dark of night. She did not recognize this world. All this metal. It was a strange jungle to her.

"Doctor Bari? Excuse me, Doctor Bari? Ah. I didn't notice you were still out here."

"It's nothing. Just thinking."

"Ah. Well. Then I'll leave you to it. Anyway. Your ship is docked in port forty-nine. Here are the keys. Have a nice evening."

The man gave a tip of his hat and exited the night rooftop. Leaving the Cathar visitor alone to her thoughts. Alone at the top of the world.

"Galactic Center. Hm. ...Fascinating."

Jaxton Ravos

Mindwalker of the Outer Rim
Jaxton had just arrived on Coruscant, after spending a weekend on Corellia. It was nice to have the chance to go home, but he now he was back to Temple Life, doing whatever the Council wished him too. Interestingly enough though, when he arrived on Coruscant he felt the presence of another Jedi . . . or something. It was close, close enough to hear the force-user over the usual noise of the overpopulated city-planet. It was times like these when Jaxton really enjoyed his great height, despite the masses he could see wherever he wanted too, and he identified the Force signature as coming from a Cathar woman. He walked up to her slowly and unthreateningly, and spoke when he was at the appropriate distance.

"Excuse me, you don't look you've Coruscant before. Could I help you get where you're going?

She turned and her green coat-tails followed her gleefully,

"Hello there. Oh my? I must seem ever the traveler today. Goodness."

She blushed like a school girl. Her amber cheeks and her little spotted nose tinted a darker color.

"Well now. Allow me to introduce myself." She smiled with a nod, "I am Althina Bari. A Jedi Apprentice come from Corellia to join the State Order of the Republic."

The Autumn Cathar could sense a magic about Jaxton. His alignment was known to her, thus her words were selected with firm purpose.

"Perhaps? Well. ...Perhaps you could point me in the right direction for Registration? Hehe." She pressed a long finger to her button nose, "Though. I appear to have found the landing pad just fine."

She tapped her color boots against the rooftop and smiled. Maybe she wasn't as lost as she looked.

Jaxton Ravos

Mindwalker of the Outer Rim
Jaxton observed as the young feline woman blushed and introduced herself. @[member="Althina Bari"], Apprentice from Corellia. He wouldn't have guessed the Corellian nature by her appearance of naivety, but Coruscant and Corellia were different places. She asked if he could point him to registration before tapping her boots on the floor, which probably meant she was trained enough, or merely strong enough, to be able to sense the Force Presence of others.

"No problem Ms Bari. Follow me." Jaxton said and began walking towards the temple, motioning her to follow. "Name’s Jaxton. I actually happen to know a fair bit of Knights and Masters who could teach you. What are you looking to learn? I could recommend a few people for you."

"Ah. Well. I come to you from the Jedi Brotherhood of Corellia. A simple group of scholars and librarians. They recommended I seek additional learnings of the Jedi here. Rather than continue under their tutorship. There are no Masters among their small Order. Only fraternity."

She gave a slight nod and continued,

"I'm a Healer, after the ways of my people. But I have come to the Jedi Order to seek to fulfill my potential in the Force. To grow stronger, more experienced, and more... World weary, you might say. For while I am a woman and a lady after the order of my people? I fear am I but a child in the ways of the Force."

She smiled and shrugged,

"So yes. Any recommendations would be delightful."

Jaxton Ravos

Mindwalker of the Outer Rim
Jaxton listened to the Cathar speak of his homeworld, her temple of "librarians", her purpose for coming, and her "child"ness in the Force. Though she was no Knight, she had started with a better foundation than many padawans had, including Jaxton when he came into the Order.

"Well, it really depends on what you want learn. If you want to continue your studies as a healer, you could try for Knight Murr or Master Vondiranach. If you wanted to learn more of politics Knight Mazhar or Master Feena would suit you. If you wanted to get more 'World Weary'." Jaxton stated, using the Cathar's words for he thought was to prepare for combat. "Then you could seek Master Wraith, Knight Ur-Rahn, or" Jaxton said and hesitated a bit "even myself." His tried to say to Cathar, without trying to gloat.
