The uniform pants and armour of this shirt are woven with Armorweave, this gives average protection in the uncovered areas. This lack of complete armour provides a wider range of movement, while still protecting the wearer to a degree. The Plastoid armour provides a similar, but slightly better protection against blasters. This armour in general provides good protection against civilians with blasters or weapons. The armour is fairly average, and provides a good alternative to proper armour for Special Forces. It is not open for purchase.
