Alpha batch

Standing at the viewport of the observation chamber Viru looked down as the scientists down below milled about completing their tasks for the day. He had planned for oh so long what was about to happen. Ever since he had taken over his families company he had planned on taking the step into cloning. Creating numerous troops to serve on the frontlines of battle for others, serve as security guards, or whatever else someone deemed necessary. What they did the clones was none of Viru's business. He would simply be the one supplying them. Hundreds upon hundreds of cloning tubes lined the walls of the Bastion facility that Viru had claimed, and this was only one section of it. Though it would be where the Alpha batch of clones would be birthed. He needed to ensure that they were at least somewhat operational before he began mass producing them.

Waving his hand Viru reached out with the invisible power of the force and activated the com that sat in the center of the grand table. "You can bring them in now." Viru said his eyes not leaving the cloning Vats. He had went and contacted one of the few people that was making a name for themselves in the galaxy. One who knew what it meant to be a soldier. He'd be the perfect genome for the alpha batch of clones. The mandalorian's name was Gray Raxis. In all truth Viru had only heard rumors about the soldier, but if what was said could be believed the man would be more than adequate for the job. On the table there were vials and needles that would be used to take samples of the man's dna.

Gray had been contacted about a potential business deal a few days ago. He wasn't given any specifics about what it was all about exactly only that they would like to meet with him and that it could be very profitable for him. He was curious as to what exactly it was going to be, so he decided to accept the offer to meet with them and find out. He was never one to turn down an offer like this without first getting the details.

Gray had shown up to the location in question wearing his gray collared, button-up shirt with a dark blue vest over it and gray slacks the same shade as the shirt. He had his leather duster on over it and his leather boots on. His blaster pistol was strapped to his right leg as always and his new light saber's hilt hung next to the blaster. He could feel the gentle hum coming from the crystal in the saber as it always did when it was near him. He had invited Star to come with him to it since she was his significant other and would kill him if he didn't bring her along on something like this.

Gray entered the room when they were allowed in. He studied it over quickly as he entered and noticed the cloning tanks to one side. That got his immediate attention, but he decided to ignore them for now. They might be important to the meet or they might not. Although the needles and stuff on the table kind of lead him toward a certain conclusion. He smiled to the man on the other end of the table and said in a friendly tone, " Hello there. I am Gray Raxis and this is Stardust. If you don't mind, who might you be? The person I am here to speak with about this business deal I haven't been told the specifics about I presume."

Indeed she would of killed him...maybe..probably not as it was his business and not concerning any other females but she did appreciate that he considered her and invited her along

So there she was walking with gray wearing her usual git up with her katana on her side with her two sabers..

She entered with him and took a look around...looked like a lab of some sorts with clonknv tanks and...needls and vials...a lab wouldn't be complete without em

She bowed as she was introduced "

Time to put on the charm. Viru thought as he spun on his heels to face his guests. His arms were wide in greeting as his violet eyes took both of them in. Everything from the way they dressed down to the weapons that they carried. Can't blame them for not trusting me. Viru thought. He didn't have any weapons on him as he was in the safest place for himself. Not only did he have droids and guards, he also had a full regiment of Grancha mutants roaming the premise. If things went sideways he'd be able to at least buy himself enough time to escape. "It is a pleasure to meet both of you, I am glad that you decided to accept my invitation. Sorry if the accommodations aren't up to your standards." Viru said a while smiling at the two and showing his shiny white teeth.

Most would expect a businessman to be dressed in a suit from head to toe and present themselves in a way that made them seem superior. Viru was the complete opposite, he wore torn blue pants and the shirt he wore was nothing but a simple t-shirt. He had spent over a century wearing suits, and sometimes it was good to make a change. His long brownish-red hair was done up in multiple dreads with the two in front easily reaching to the center of his chest. While the rest hung in a ponytail tucked neatly. "Please do sit." Viru said motioning to the chairs at the large white table that sat between them. "My name is Viru, and sadly I could not tell you the complete details of the job due to you most likely declining it without even hearing me out."

Pulling out his own chair Viru slid down into it his left leg crossing over his knee and his hands placed on the table held together, fingers interlocking. "As you may know we live in a galaxy wrought with war, with battle... Innocent lives are lost everyday, parents taken from their children. I wish to change that. To take a step forward and allow more people to live without fear of going to war. I'm sure you understand?"

Gray always had the two weapons strapped to his right leg on him. He felt naked without them and he carried them less out of a sense of mistrust as much from a sense of sentiment. There was no way for someone to know this fact though unless they knew Gray well, and few knew him that well. He pulled a chair out for Star as the man offered them seats. When Star was sat down he would push it in for her as well. He took his own seat after next to her and listened to the man's next statement. He had been less bothered by the man's appearance and was more concerned with his used speeder salesman approach to the conversation. He was certain of what the man was going to say next based on the evidence around him and the subject of the man's words.

Gray cupped his hands in front of him on the table as the man finished speaking. He kept a smile on his face the whole time. He said after a silent moment, " I am aware of the state of things in the galaxy right now. I am a mercenary after all and I have had to help deal with many of the problems. I have seen them with my own eyes as well. But are you sure cloning is the answer to that problem? They might be lives created in a lab, but they are still lives. Look at what happened to the Galactic Republic during the Roche conflict. There was an uprising of clone forces against the Senate. People supporting clone rights, and even clones being ordered to attack civilians. So do you think clones are the answer to the violence? Or are they going to be used to provide a source of much needed strength without risking individual lives at the cost of credits? Cloning is why you asked me here today isn't it? Depending on your reply, I might be willing to hear you out."

Gray continued to smile at the man. He wasn't here for a philosophical debate on the state of war and peace, but he was willing to play the role of someone concerned with it if he wanted to bring it up. He wasn't opposed to cloning, and actually respected the use of them. They were far better trained than most soldiers and just better at their job as well. Even Justice Shipping, the company he worked for and Star worked for, had cloning facilities they could use for custom orders. He was just trying to gauge the man he was dealing with to determine if he was willing to make a deal with him or not.

Stardust Sat down and listened carefully ...she carried weapons mostly because it was her way...she was a soldier and without a weapon she felt naked. And open

I agree with gray...a clone army is the best choice cheaper and such however they are still being with thought"she said and crossed her hands"and they are only tools of war that further the flames...just like gray said the republic had a issue with clones and they were shunned upon

Sighing Viru pushed away from the table rising to his feet and moving back to the viewport where he could look down into the bay. "You both are right, I may not have paid to much attention to the crisis, but I have heard about them. People... People always seem to get angry about things that have nothing to do with them. While clones are unique onto themselves most of the time they do have personalities... They are people just like us, they feel love, hate, joy. However they know they're duty, if the general public can come to accept this I believe clones would be more than a fitting substitute than having to draft the young and unwilling." Viru said his head bowed as he placed a palm on the viewport his head bowed.

"You ask do I think clones will stop the violence or further the war... In all honesty I believe they could stop this war, or at least stop the mass loss of lives. We'll never be able to truly stop war. There is no peace, at least there can't be when there are beings like the One Sith still out there." Viru's fist clenched and the knuckles turned white. The mass loss of lives was a tragedy no matter who looked at it and he needed them to be sure that he cared about it. "These clones are meant to provide strength and save lives at the cost of credits. I could go and sell armies of these things at exuberant costs, use them to raid planets for my own cause, do anything with them. However I want to put them in the hands of those who need them. Anything to keep people from loosing their families in battle."

"With your dna I can do such a thing. They will be created in your image, your memories downloaded into them. Training them, creating the perfect soldiers. You will of course be gifted some if you ask, and I will extend their lives past the normal operational age limit for clones. As I also work with G.H corporation it will be easy enough. Look what happened to me." Viru said waving a body over himself. "Of course you will be compensated."

Gray listened to the man answer his questions, and had to admit it was satisfactory. He had addressed any issue he might had with the mentioning of controlling who he sold clones to. Gray was not opposed to the deal at all, but he figured he would try to do something here while he could. He waited for the man to finish speaking and then said with a smile on his face, " I have to admit that this sounds like a good deal, a very good deal. My own squad of clones, the compensation, it is all a good deal." He paused a moment as the smile dropped from his face and he went on, " But there are a few none negotiationable conditions for my compliance with your offer. All training the clones go through will need my approval and I am allowed to oversee any and all training for them whenever I wish to. The other is that you offer to sell clones to the Free Colonies for a discounted price and I am willing to give up my compensation on all sales of clones to the Free Colonies. If you will agree to these conditions along with what you were offering to me originally I will agree to provide my DNA for your clones."

Gray stood up from his chair as he finished speaking. He smiled as he held an arm out towards Star and said, " In fact if you want to make a deal on the clones with the Free Colonies then it can be done right now. Star here is their Minister of War and their President is James Justice who will not be hard to get approval for any deal made from. He is the CEO of the company we both work for after all and a close friend of ours. It will benefit us both and there is no reason not to make it now is there?"

Stardust nodded listening and spoke"you said they'd have Gray's memories "she said and paused" if I may propose something"she said and let a moment pass"I think the squads would be effective if they had a clone if me...like two or three of me...my reason being that it would increase the squads effectiveness in battle and well morale"she said then cleared her throat

And he's right I'm the ministry of war..and well James best friend and he is my boss"she said

Turning to face the mercenary, Viru couldn't find to much to argue about. These clones were going to be exact replica's of him after all. "I see no problem with you overseeing the training of the clones that are birthed from your genome. The ones from my other subjects will of course be receiving training from their own progenitors." Viru said. Allowing one man to train an entire force of clones was not something he planned on doing, for one it wouldn't be profitable, and secondly it would limit all the clones to the training of one instead of having them each specialize in something different. "I'm sure you understand, just as you want to ensure the clones of your dna come out under your approval the same could be said for my other partners." Viru said before hearing the twi'lek's suggestion.

"Well they'll have the memories from his training. We will be isolating all his other memories, if we create clones with the exact memories of Gray they will be more prone to clone madness. Clone madness is dirty business after all and can lead to the clones being completely mentally debilitated. For them to have constant reminders to their progenitors memories in clones of yourself can also increase the likelihood of clone madness, induce rivalry, and even jealousy. Something we can't have the troops clones doing as they'd turn against each other... Their comradeship shall be what drives them and offers them morale."

"As such... Clones do not come cheap. I will give you a twenty-five percent discount off the top." While he did have hundreds of cloning tubes Viru had to take into account how long it would take to form them. Using the same research as with G.H corporation he'd be able to turn the month long growth process down to a few days which means he could produce large amounts in short times. Though their life spans at max would be ten years. "Let's start with say fifty thousand clones at twenty-five million credits. That would make the cost of each unit 500 credits in cost. Which is down from the initial 725 per unit cost."

Gray saw that the man was willing to agree to his terms, and glad to hear that. He was also glad to see the man was willing to make a good deal on the price for the clones. He had to admit that he hadn't expected that much of a discount from him off the bat. He could work with this, but it wasn't up to him any more after this point. It was up to Star to take things from here. He did smile as he said, " I can't exactly make the deal on the price for the clones, but that sounds like a good price to me for them. I also would like to say I agree with you on the training. I am only concerned with the clones based on my DNA. All other clones are none of my business, although I am willing to provide my services to their training if needed. If you want to use my memories though, you should also take into all of the combat experience I have had over the years. I have been a mercenary since I was young. I do not know if that will be important or necessary for you however. You are the expert so I leave the details on all of that to you. When you are ready to take my DNA just let me know and we can start whenever you like."

Stardust tapped her chin listening to the man...blocking out the memories was a good thing...or at least key memories "mhmm mhmm you do have a point u have heard clone madness is a very bad thing for those who do clone" she said and lisneted

25 percent off? Hey ID say that's a perfect deal"she said and listened to numbers"mhmmm mhmm a perfect number just bill it directly to justice shipping"she said and chuckled "now then...I wish to offer myself for cloning" she said and looked at him"not many know of the czar commandos...and you probably don't however most of their body's were increased for extra durability... Meaning they could drop twenty fifty feet in armor and be OK...so how about this...I'll gjve my DNA and you can the clones made from it in the market...you get about 85% of profit"she said and sat back

"I thank you for your offer Mr. Raxis. If any of the other clones do need training your offer will be remembered. Though I know plenty about using the gene structure and flash training. Your memories and such from battle will be implanted into the clones. Though all your other memories we will be aiming to isolate as I said before." Viru said nodding to Gray before turning to focus back on the twi'lek. He had indeed given them a great deal on the clones. Many companies would sell them for at least a thousand or more credits. Though their clones wouldn't have the same shortened life-span and probably wouldn't be created as fast as Viru's own clones.

"Sorry I have not heard of czar commando's but if what you say is true, I'll make an exception and take your dna. Though due to the genetic mutation that was applied to the czar commando's as you call them. It will take me longer to get around to creating them. When one has already been genetically mutated it becomes dangerous for others to interfere with that dna. Could lead to the degradation of the genetic structure and damage the clones leaving them deformed." Viru warned as he waved his hand to the vials in the center of the table. "What I'll be needing from both of you are two vials of blood each, a vial of your saliva. A piece of hair from you Mr. Raxis and a piece of skin from you Stardust as you don't have hair for me to use."

[member="Viru Lentus"] [member="Stardust"]

Gray held his hand out to Viru and said, " So I guess we have ourselves a deal then. I look forward to working with you on this endeavor. May it be profitable for us both." He waited to see if the man would shake his hand or not and then add, " So we will be drawing the blood and removing the skin ourselves I take it. Figured you would like to do that yourself seeing how you have the trained personnel and all. I'll get on top of it though and help Star out with her part as well." He walked over to the supplied on the table as he finished speaking. He had seen his own blood taken enough to know what to do. He got everything he would need gathered up and then turned to Star. He said, " Alright Beautiful, come over here and I will take your blood for you. Can't exactly use your arms or legs for this after all." He turned to Viru and said, " Mind giving us some privacy for this part?"

Stardust nodded to the man and smiled"you do whatever you need viru I put my trust in your knowledge as you out your trust in mine"the said and after viru would shake Gray's she'd hold hers out to do so then follow gray over to the vials

Hahah you can use the part above where the cybernetics connect I've used there before"she said and grabbed the tube for the skin and drew her sword gently taking some off and placing it in the vial and replacing her blade"alright you can do the blood dear"she said and took the saliva vial and soat into it getting a good amount

Viru did shake the mercenaries hand, he did not intend on offering offense to those that he had made deals with. He was not one of those force users with the huge ego that thought themselves better than everyone else. "No sadly all my scientists are a bit busy setting up the cloning gear, and getting the supplies together to clone them. Plus you're a mercenary I asume you'll be able to draw your own blood, hair and saliva. Though for the twi'lek I thought it would be easier if someone she trusted was the one to remove the skin. Rather not have a force user get enraged and end up harming one of my scientists." Viru said simply as he let the two go about their buisness. When all the vials were filled Viru examined each one of them his eyes narrowing to slits.

"Yes I think this is enough." Pushing the button twice Viru summoned one of the scientists. "Get these to the lab and begin analyzing them. I want layouts of their genetic structure. Quirks, flaws. I want it all, and I wanted it ten minutes ago." Viru said handing the vials to the scientist who rushed out of the room. "Now as for you two the first batch of clones should be done in close to two weeks. I will alert you a day before I release them from their tubes so the very next they can begin their training." Viru said as he stood from the seat moving to usher them out.
