Today seemed to be a very humid day so thick it slowed your breathing, standing on a rock reaching his hand slowly out to touch the beak of an Ulama this was the Beta of the pack, Richard was attempting to gain his trust and become alpha so they would follow him. These birds were beautiful the feathers were bright but their beak was rather large and would not want to get on the bad side of these creatures, but before Richard could finish reaching out the other Ulama's began to circle Richard this he could see. Looking to his right he spoke " Delta I see you back off " before he could continue to speak the bird leaned forward and attempted to use his feet to kick " Woah " this was not working as he had planned.
This was a problem some of the birds seemed to react fine but others would not comply, extending his hand again he used beast manipulation to calm the rebellious birds and coax them into complying " There we go much better good girl " leaving them there to go back home. He had gained the data he wanted with them and becoming alpha will allow him to research them more and see the capabilities and how they can be effectively used in combat.
