Jelan would be sitting in a large room listening to an older man go on about how to command a ship bigger than a starfighter. How to be in formation, what weapons to use in certain situations, and what ships are weak to other ships. She would sigh and daydream about leading a fleet of her own to fight back against the maw and empire, becoming a hero of the Alliance. But she comes back to reality, knowing she'll be forced to captain a smaller vessel before she can get anything with any real firepower.
