All Nightmare Long

Listening to music was the better way to distract Acaleus mind while relaxing. Just a few weeks ago he was talking to those cientist on a space station, on a cruiser. He was going to open a new cience department and now Acaleus was going to investigate why the station didnt respond to any radio contact. There was four groups of mercenaries, hired by the research companies, that went trying to discover what happened and retrieve the research from the space station. The last radio sound they got from those groups was screams and "...reinforcement!"

Acaleus was on a cruiser talking with the cientist of the companies. One company was experimenting on animals, others with quimical weaponry. He heard something about a infection but his ship was ready to leave "Anyone brave enough ready to embark with me?" spoke through the radio for everybody on the cruiser. He liked working with a brave team and going solo, knowing that others didnt make it was madness.

Allana had been intrigued by such a curious case, quickly hopping aboard the cruiser as it headed off on its course. She had missed much on the briefing, but knew enough of the situation that she believed was satisfactory to be of assistance. Whatever was happening aboard this station did not bode well for Triumvirate property, nor for the rest of the galaxy if it spread. Allana would prefer to keep the chaos as it was before it escalated to an unstoppable level.

Sitting quietly in the passenger bay, the Shi'ido watched the anxious faces grow in alarm as the word 'zombie' began to spread amongst the crew. While she had not faced a being that could fit that description, she had no doubts that the rumours held some truth. Whatever this case was on the space station, it had to be maintained quickly. Although if there was something to learn aboard as well, Allana would not complain. There was nothing wrong with learning how to replicate such a feat.

As the announcement echoed throughout the chamber, Allana slowly rose to her feet, noticing the fear that had no settle among the crew members. They did their best to hide it, but the young Sith had no trouble perceiving the emotion from their Force aura's. Obviously there wouldn't be too many volunteers. Grabbing the bag beside her, the woman shouldered the pack before heading to the ship's bridge, ready to meet her new associate.

"I'm Allana. Your only volunteer it seems." she said upon arrival, offering a short nod as she turned to face the station through the viewport. "What exactly is the situation here?" she asked, hoping to learn more before the pair disembarked.

Someone approach Acaleus, a girl. Force user maybe? In this case he would need help to survive the situation presented "My name is Acaleus and thank you for agreeing on participating in this expedition" said the assassin walking towards the hangar bay. There were a few ships left and the AT-120 of Acaleus "Well the problem is simple. Apparently a company got his hand on a corpse in Korriban and started to experimenting with it" he entered his ship and came back with a holocron and a datapad. In the datapad, it showed numbers and news about the space statios "The population was around two hundred thirty thousand. Now we dont have cameras nor knowledge of any survivor" he didnt wanted to ask if the animals could get infected, he just couldnt imagine an undead Rancoor.

Acaleus put the holocron in the ground, just on the side of his ship, and a large image showed up, displaying the space station "The only reason why the others cruiser hadnt blow the ship down is that the companies believe that they can retrieve the investigations and investment. I know they will not be able to, even if they send a whole army against the undead" Acaleus pointed out a part of the station and the image showed a room with a green dot "My own investment, a prototype of a weapon is in there and i plan to have it back. I can pay you with anything, just name a price" Some droids came closer to the assassin "Sir, your ship is ready" "Oh thanks. So Allana, are you ready?" asked walking towards the entrance of the AT-120.

The whole situation provided great intrigue for the young woman. While the deaths did not faze her in the slightest, the overall affect of the transmission was astounding. To have spread so effectively from such a minor agent. The thought of controlling such an epidemic thrilled the Shi'ido. This would surely benefit her Master's in the Triumvirate. She knew that poison and plague wasn't really their choice of warfare, Allana assumed it would be better to have this in her own hands before the Jedi caught word of it. Shouldering her pack once more, She gripped her saber staff before following the man onto his ship.

"Ready as we'll be ever be." she replied, watching the boarding ramp rise. The pair would inevitably learn more about this case as they journeyed through the station. Allana just prayed that the situation was within their control. The secrets of the disease would be lost to her, if she was more focused on fighting for her life. However she was confident in the abilities she had learned and developed, knowing that they would all come in use when the inevitable fight broke out. "Have you ever encountered something like this before?" she asked, curious as to discover more about the man she would be working alongside with.

Acaleus closed the door of the ship and look at her "Never. Only what the cientist told me before departing" the AT-120 elevated from the hangar floor and fly away. He coughed to speak like the old cientist on his research lab "The undead are only atracted by the smell of blood and sound. If you want to stop their movement just behead them" then he started talking normally while standing from the pilot chair and stretching his arms to the sides "They no longer feel pain nor fear. I think thats the reason for why the first assault team failed"

As they were getting close to the space station, one of the external rooms exploded "Zombies must be doing a mess of the place" he didnt wanted to imagine what kind of monster did that. The hangar shield was still on, and the radar didnt showed any movement...for now. Once the AT-120 passed through the shield, the lights turned red and the ship started shaking "What the...!" the ship tear apart in half. The smell of rotten meat filled the air in seconds, making Acaleus want to puke. The zombie rancoor threw the remains of the AT-120 to the wall of the hangar. The assassin jumped out before it crashes, and he didnt new if his partner was following him.

As the plague was described in more detail, Allana's intrigue continued to rise. She wondered how such a disease had been created, already picking up on the similarities with many Sith-created plagues throughout history. The Shi'ido could already see the possible applications one could have for such a weapon. She desperately needed to learn more if she was to create a similar strain herself. Already she could imagine herself leading an army of mutated beings against the galaxy. Fear and chaos would spread, with the young woman at the helm of it all. No longer would she be compared to the great Jedi that had sired her, she would be at the center of it all.

Her dream could not last as the exclamation from her partner caused the ship to shake. Allana's body was riddled with danger sense as the craft was torn open. Shielding her face from the descending metal, the woman followed Acaleus' actions and fled the craft with a force-enhanced leap. Ignoring the smell of rotting flesh, the woman stared in shock at the creature as she sailed through the air. Weapon already in hand, Allana landed gracefully on the hangar floor as the ship was thrown against the wall by the fearsome monster.

Allana had heard stories of Rancors, however had never had the unfortunate pleasure of coming face to face with one. She was unsure whether the plague had mutated the creature or if it had always looked so impressive. Nonetheless the creature needed to be dealt with before the pair could continue their expedition. Summoning the Force, Allana sent a surge of lightning towards the Rancor's face, hoping to stun it as she leaped towards the monster, blade ignited in hand.

The good news was that the flesh of the rancor wasnt strong. Well a lightsaber user would have it difficult to penetrate the durable skin, but the mutation had rotten everything on the body. The lightning hit in the center of the eyes, melting it. The beast created a scream that was heard all over the station, he didnt knew if it was of pain or something else...seconds later a tremble shake the entire ship. Acaleus saw the opportunity and force threw a torpedo to the mouth of the giant rancor, and after that he fired one single bullet. The explosion was enough to left the beast headless.

"Alright...thanks for that...now lets better move, the cientist laboratory isnt too far away" Acaleus went to his now destroyed ship and took out a couple of blaster pistols and his datapad "Lets go" he didnt wanted to say it but he found fascinating the use of force lightning. How did she do that? How much training it had to take? Those would be questions for later. Just as they were on three rooms, the couple of force users entered into a the food court. There were at least three dozens of zombies in there "At least there is no mutated animals...lets clear this area shall we? Oh and dont use fire weapons, we dont need to draw any attention"

Acaleus turned on his wrist lightsabers and run towards the undead. The first one didnt noticed until his head was separated from his body. The second roared towards Acaleus after the saber thrust into the middle of his forehead. It didnt passed enough time until Acaleus was overrun and had to create a force shield around him to stop the zombies from bitting him. With one hand holding the shield up, he started stabbing heads with the other one. He didnt wanna say it but he was in the way on panicking and losing control.
