BIOGRAPHY:
Alkin's father was nomadic and shortly after his birth his mother left them unable to live with the stress of contently moving. It fell to his father to raise Alkin on his own, unfortunately he was a mercenary who frequently took work on the techno-barbaric world of Meridies. This on and off work lead Alkin training in the same fighting style that the native peoples have while still learning modern technology. By the time he was 16 Alkin was fully grown and through his and his fathers earnings he purchased himself a suit of local armour and a large vibro-axe. When Alkin turned 19 his father was killed in combat and so it turned to Alkin to start taking up the contracts that his father left behind.
During his time abroad in the galaxy where he spent time tracking a target on Kabaira where a found a lone snow-wolf pup abandoned by it's mother, along with a large male wolf, presumably the father, dead next to it. Having been in the exact same position, Alkin having been in the exact same position as the wolf gathered it up in his cloak and brought it back to his ship and nursed it to health with what little he knew. As time passed Alkin named the wolf and started to him, eventually bringing the animal into battle with him.
By the time he was 21 Alkin had started to make a reputation for himself being as fierce a fighter as any of the local lords, better even than some. Of course it earned him the scorn of many of the more traditional lords who believe that he was not worthy of his skill, his job, or the money they pay him.
