[SIZE=9pt]Boost Speed: The Enigma-class can divert power from it’s Varactyl Dual Heavy Turbolasers to its drive systems. When it does this, the forward weapons are deactivated, and the engines gain a speed boost.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Composite-Beam Laser: The Alex is equipped with a composite-beam laser similar to that of the B-Wing Prototype. The weapon is powerful enough to decimate much larger vessels, notably capable of punching straight through the shields and hull of an Imperial Arquitens-class light cruiser with ease, but it has a slow rate of fire. The range of the weapon is also a factor, only having an effective range of 2500 meters, meaning that the Alex needs to get up close and personal in order to damage its target. Also, when firing, all other weapons system cannot fire, as all power is diverted to power the beam. For pvp purposes, it can only be fired once every other turn.[/SIZE]

The corvette features a composite-beam laser that allows it to decimate larger vessels. This beam is slow however, and in the fast paced combat that the Enigmas excel in may not always be able to fire at a target.[/SIZE]

Hey, I like the idea behind this submission, but there were a few questions I wanted to clear up with you.

Armament: Extreme (2x Forward mounted Varactyl Dual Heavy Turbolasers, 2x Universal launch tubes, 2x quad laser turrets, Composite-beam laser) (Very Low when at Boost Speed)

4x Varactyl Dual Heavy Turbolasers

In one place you say the ship has 2 Varactyl Dual Heavy Turbolasers, but in the other you say it has 4. Could you clarify which is correct?

Also, the composite beam weapon is a very powerful weapon. Could you please go into some more details as to it's capabilities? As it currently stands I'm not sure of the range of the weapon, or it's damage capabilities which could lead to confusion should the weapon be used in Pvp. I would suggest you do a separate submission for this weapon so that anyone who wants has a clear idea of the weapons range and power etc. Baring that could you please expand upon the weapon in this submission to give us a better idea of what it's capable of.
