Alexander Clay Priest was born to a mother with weak composition and a Jedi Knight of a father. His mother died shortly after giving birth to him and well... we could easily just say his misery began from there, as his mother's side of the family had hated his father for being rich and being a Jedi Knight, and his father ran into trouble a ton, to the point his father died when Alexander was 11 while fighting a Sith lord.
