Intent: To Create an interesting ink for the use of the Talith and Shamalain family.
Development Thread: If you are dying
Manufacturer: Soliael Devin Shamalain Talith | Micah Draith Shamalain Talith | Shamalain Family | Talith Family
Model: Ink
Affiliation: Talith Family
Modularity: Yes
Production: Limited (Specific PC's or NPCs)
Material: Alchemized ink.

Special Features:
  • IYD (If You're Dying): The alchemized ink would serve for one purpose and one purpose only. This functioned as a sort of link, one that was directly connected to the creator, in this case Soliael, with the recipient of the achemized ink. When one of the Talith children ( or those Soliael chooses to use this on) channels a tiny trickle of the force into it, Soliael can instantly pinpoint their whereabouts anywhere in the galaxy, much like a Nightsister Bloodtrail, but not permanently (thats creepy). This was designed as a way for Soliael to find the kids if they were ever in trouble.
Description:
Though Soliael is no great craftsmen of artifacts or blades like his father, he does have an incredible wealth of knowledge from both his Uncle Dissero, the journals of his father, and his Holocron as well. Knowing full well that his wife, Kira, worried over the safety of their children, he decided to come up with a compromise that would suit all involved.

The result was to mimic the pager aspect he had once created with the necklace he had made for Kira, which is the ability to act as a sort of link between him and who he desires when the recipient willfully chooses to activate it. In this case, between him and whoever the ink is set into. By alchemizing the ink, the result is much like in the form of a bloodtrail, he would create a viable method for his children to use if they are in grave danger. The ink, once used upon the skin, could not be removed once it was set.

The technique to create this ink has been passed down to those of the family adept at alchemy. If created by Micah for example, the link would be between him and the person that uses the ink for a tattoo.

Could you mention what is modular about this?

Also how dose one tattoo them selfs, do they carry around a tattoo machine at all times or dose it absorb in to their skin or a different way?

How long dose this last or if I understand properly it's for as long as the person is uning it is focusing the force into it?

Modular by in colors who creates it because the ink bonds to whoever created it. Which is why I added as the manufacturers.

It is just the ink. Not the process. It is just like bloodtrail, where even splattering can set upon the flesh. It just has to set. However they want to have the ink added to their skin is entirely up for grabs as long as it hits the medium it requires.

A blood trail was a technique developed by the Nightsisters ofDathomir. With this technique, the Nightsister would use her ownblood to mark her target (often a slave) and track them through the blood mark using the Force in case they escaped. The shed blood used for a blood trail could not be removed once the trail was set.

All they have to do is channel a trickle of the Force. It does not need to be a specific timed thing.
