Born as Alana Mornami, Alana has been in various tight spots in her life. Alana grew up into a life of poverty and crime, born to a spice smuggler for a father, and an Echani assassin for a mother in the rougher parts of Nar Shaddaa. From a young age, the girl learned to take nothing for granted, and that the only one you could rely on was yourself. Given the nature of her parents, the young woman didn't learn the most appropriate of skill-sets. Slight of hand, assassination techniques, as well as learning how to live on the run; Alana was being groomed to take a place in her parents line of work. It was their line of work however, that proved to be their end, leaving Alana an orphan at the age of ten. Alana's mother took a job out on a senator and was thrawted by the Jedi Sakadi Marathi Sinvala Sakadi Marathi Sinvala . Then, on the way to collect her mother's body, disaster struck one again. a routine traffic search in the Outer Rim one day turned out to be a hit placed on the Mornami family by unknown agents, her father was beaten, tortured, then lined up against the bulkhead of their freighter and shot; all before the eyes of his daughter. Seeing little value in killing the young girl, the crew of hit men took the young Alana on board, planning on taking her in for a quick sale at a slave auction. It was the interference of Sector Rangers that spared her from such a fate, seeing the men who killed her father be taken in was only a small comfort for the girl though; as the individuals who had arranged for the deed still loomed in the galaxy.
It was here her life took a different twist, as Alana was then taken in by a veteran Sector Ranger, Alfonz Calloway, who sympathized with her plight. Being taken back to the world of Dantooine, Alana was given a somewhat more normal life, though her adoptive father still endeavored to take her hunting and camping, trying to undo the manner years of bad lessons that her parents had instilled in her. Alana began to change, seeing that there was still good in the galaxy, and that not all were so ill and selfish, as the next several years were relatively peaceful.
As she neared her eighteenth birthday, Alana looked to start employment with the Sector Rangers. The woman's innate force abilities had made her into a skilled tracker, and the many years of experience she had from her unique life experiences had given her insight into the criminal underworld that few recruit Sector Rangers had. If life hadn't taken another strike at her, Alana might have had a promising career as a Sector Ranger, but that wasn't to be. Alfonz had dedicated himself to bringing down those responsible for the death of Alana's parents, working an independent case that would bring the girl some semblance of peace.
Unfortunately, it only lead to his death. Lured into a trap by a seemingly reliable contact, Calloway was killed on Nal Hutta, once again leaving Alana alone. With no one to guide her, and wrought with grief, she left her adoptive home world, left with only a small inheritance and ship, Alana has been running from her past for years now. Her ideology began to crumble, her more uplifting view of the galaxy dissolved before her eyes, and she found it harder to care about things that didn't impact her. Her emotional turmoil has lead to her innate force abilities showing at the worst times, letting the woman hear the voices of others, or giving her flashes of insight that she never asked for. To counter, she began to partake in deathsticks; a habit she still hasn't managed to shake. Roaming the galaxy as a bounty hunter now, Alana's worst enemy is ever looming over her; herself.
After a mission gone south, Alana found herself captured by Sith operatives, and for several years, she was not heard from. While she would eventually arise within the Sith ranks, much of her own identity, and memory, was cloudy at best.
After numerous run ins, conflicts of interests, and personal crises, Alana vanished. Little trace of her could be found, and until recently, she was believed to have been killed. Wherever she had disappeared to, it seems that now, she's returned with a far clearer mind than when she left.
