Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths
Creative Warrior - With her warrior skills, Akiyama fights pretty well, and eloquently, but her moves are rather creative, with many new ones being aspired from the ones that she had saw her opponents use. She would study a person's moveset and attempt to use that moveset to implement with a previous one that she knows, to create a new one, and surprise her opponents. Though this may not always work, it's rather an impressive talent to consider.
Natural War Leader - In Land Combat, Akiyama excels the most, as she knows how to command troops, and men. Being apart of her order, she was the one who lead soldiers and men of her order into battles, and faired quite well. She knows how to drill, and make boys into soldiers as well as anyother one of her order could of.
Blacksmith - Despite the fact that the weaponry are far beyond need of manual labour, blacksmithin was osmetihng Akiyama picked up while being on Atrisia in her order. This craft was passed down from generation to generation as a sort of tradition in the order, and would believe this to be a survival skill, especially if her weapons would dull out or her armour would go stale.
Tactical - Akiyama might look like she is someone who would instantly charge out and attack someone, but she had proven time and time again to be tactical. She knows how to lure people whom have more advanced weaponry, such as blasters or hover tanks, and destroy them with little effort. It's feats like these that make her order infamous, yet famous as well.
Honourable - Her order taught her the most important thing, honour. If anything, she values this above all else, and her honour is what keeps her alive and well, strong and loyal to anyone who would help value this code, and does not appreciate those who would run away like cowards. She is a warrior at heart, therefore, even when defeating her enemies, she would not kill them, and would let them go. She only sees it as honour when she kills someone in the middle of battle, rather than them standing before her in surrender.
Weaknesses
Piloting - Akiyama was bred to be a land soldier, not a pilot. Therefore, her piloting skills are never usually good. Although they aren't bad, they aren't necessarily good, usually missing her target on a gunship should she be given one. She has a hard time usually seeing the target as they are moving too fast for her, and might accidentally misfire at an ally.
Nationalist - If anything, Akiyama would do anything to stay loyal to her people, her planet. Her nationalistic behaviour for Atrisia indeed shows when she is fighting, usually having little regards for other peoples, always putting the Atrisians before anyone else. This makes her rather stubborn in somesorts of ways, when it comes to rescuing civilians.
Arrogant - Her arrogance usually shows when she is fighting, usually being so hot-blooded with her passion and her skills as a warrior, she usually forgets that she has flaws as well, and sees herself as this all-strong warrior who could never die in a fight.
Blaster Use - Akiyama isn't really particularly good at using firearms, usually missing when she fires with them, and is better off using a melee weapon for her combat purposes.
Appearance
Akiyama is a short woman at around 5'4, weighing about 135lb. Like many other female Atrisians, Akiyama's skin is soft to touch, and she isn't really buffed. However, she can still walk around in that armour and her weapons. She is donned in traditional Atrisian armour from years past, as it is the symbol of her order, whom wears a similar outfit to her. She holds a vibroblade-looking weapon of Atrisian design, but she is also seen to have a shorter vibroblade and a dagger. But she usually uses her vibroblade more often if anything. She would only switch her weapon under certain circumstances.
In addition, she holds a DC-17 Blaster Pistol, though she is only seen using it if required, if not, rarely using it at all. However, under certain conditions, she will use a blaster. Though, she thinks of them as "Clumsy" weapons.
Background
Early Life
Akiyama was born 823 years After the Battle of Yavin on the planet of Atrisia. Born within the more rural parts of the world, Akiyama lived in a village that bordered a large mountain with a waterfall and overlooked a large plain. Upon growing up, Akiyama learned of her father's service to a powerful order. Known as the Mitsubishi Order, Akiyama grew even more interested, and asked her father if she could join the order. However, before he did accepted for her to join it, she had to train herself to prepare for what was to come in her life as an onna-bugeshia.
When Akiyama turned 8, she was integrated into the order, and swore herself to be a strong and vital member of the order. She would eventually start to learn the code and start her training under them. It was then that she would accidentally show her skill in the force, unknowingly, as she did not know that she even had it in her. Her midi-chlorian count was rather a bit higher than her fellow students. This made her even more special within, and in hopes that the Jedi would not come to search for her and attempt to take her away from the order. As such, this revelation was kept a secret, and Akiyama was forbidden to use the force for anything. Ever time she was caught using the force, nothing would of been said about the incident, and a coverup story would of been made.
By the time she turned 25, Akiyama was advanced in the arts of her swordsmanship, blacksmithing, and whatever she learned from her order. She would make patrols around the countryside outside of Jar'Kai or any Atrisian City that was around the planet.
The Destruction of Atrisia
In 849ABY, Atrisia was attacked and much of the inhabitants died as a result of the destruction of the planet. Much of the Mistubishi Order was destroyed, and Akiyama was forced to flee away from the planet in a ship, which would make her a refugee from her planet. This tragedy really left a scar in her, as she spent all her life on that planet, and now, it was destroyed... gone... Despite her mourning the loss of her family, her clan, her order, she would possibly become the last of both. Her Order and her Clan. She would have to continue their legacy, and from there, became more martial and strongwilled.
