An average childhood where the most significant thing was her academic achievement, fed by a hunger for knowledge of what made her fellow sentient think and act. Akilah soon found she had a knack for not only learning, but also sharing her love and passions. While in school studying for a B.A. in Galactic Politics she decided that a simple degree would not be enough, and that she needed to go into higher learning in order to research and teach about the galaxy around her. She was accepted into Obroa-Skai University, and after three years of study is now an ABD student, or “All But Dissertation.” Her focus now is writing that dissertation Post-Gulag Force User Culture and how it affects the Galaxy to obtain her PhD, as well as share her research on arguably the most polarizing thing of modern political and government turnover.
