Intent: The REAL Darksaber has been claimed by another. Deathwatch requires an impersonation, in order to claim legitimacy. This will be commissioned and completed by the First Order faction in exchange for services and allegiance.
Development Thread: If Necessary. One WILL be made, in regards to having it forged. We need to know if this sort of thing is allowed, first.

Description: A replica of the original Darksaber. Produces a flat, dark colored blade. It has a higher pitched whine, of something more recently produced, and this may give away its legitimacy. However, it contains many of the original attributes.

All use of beskar require a development thread, regardless of whether this is an imitation of the true darksaber or not. The fact that this is also a replica of the darksaber will require some development in order to recreate that signature flat, katana-like, blade.

Beskar (( Objective: Perform a mining operation, a raid, an excavation, or steal to obtain Mandalorian Iron Ore from any of the following planets: Mandalore, Concordia, Echo'lya –OR— inflict a devastating defeat on a Mandalorian character and have them verify it. Characters belonging to the Major Faction whose influence covers Mandalore and/or Concordia are exempt from fulfilling this objective.
All tech submissions involving Mandalorians using Beskar will require a forging or construction thread of at least 10 posts where the item is made. Limited or minor production items will require longer dev threads of 20 and 30 posts respectively, or at the discretion of the Factory Judge. ))

Weight: 2-4kg.

The weight should be an exact measurement. 1 KG is fine, as that is the standard weight of the average lightsaber. (The blade is weightless).
