Intent: Attire for low-profile actions

Development Thread: None

Manufacturer: Akure Executive Interstellar

Model: N/A

Affiliation: Personal

Modularity: No

Production: Unique

Material: Specially alchemized Porvir leather

Classification: General-purpose

Weight: 5kg

Quality: 3, 2 vs standard energy weapons (no lightsabre resistance)

Special Features:
 • Porvir leather, treated via a proprietary AEI process, discourages hostile attention, reduces curiosity, and generally makes the wearer beneath notice unless she does something especially bold or obvious. The effect is especially pronounced against animals. Sentient beings, especially trained Force-sensitives, who are intent on searching for her will usually experience minimal effects.

Strengths:
 • Makes the wearer difficult to notice or find, especially for animals.

Weaknesses:
 • It's pretty much leather. A knife will probably punch through just fine; same with a blaster bolt.
 • Standard gaps (armpits, insides of joints, etc.)

Description: Ajira's expeditionary suit is a basic, well-fitted set of leather armour. Its surface is a dark, matte brown, allowing her to blend in with shadows and so forth. The suit is low-profile enough to fit underneath Ajira's basic set of Mandalorian armour in place of a body glove. However, it lacks a helmet or significant neck protection and has the usual gaps in coverage, preventing it from sealing against atmospheric hazards.

Ajira's suit allows her to pass by most non-sentient predators unnoticed. If she avoids flamboyant displays or drastic actions, she can usually pass unnoticed around sentients as well, unless they are actively searching for her.

The suit was a bespoke order from Akure Executive Interstellar, which specializes in treating the hides of Force-sensitive creatures such that the hides retain the creatures' unique qualities. The suit's Force presence is minimal and subdued.

The suit is compatible with multi-pouched belts, bandoliers, repulsor belts, holsters, sheaths, etc., but lacks the hardpoints necessary for weapons attachments or jetpacks.

Primary Source: The porvir is found in the Force and Destiny rulebook 'Savage Spirits':

"Porvir are tiny, awkward creatures. More than half of their bodies are taken up by a bulbous rear, in which they store water and fat for the lean winter months. Their stubby legs move them at a slow waddle, and their poor vision means that they rarely find food quickly or easily, and often must resort to scavenging meals from what other creatures leave behind. Despite all these disadvantages, porvir thrive across nearly every world on which they can be found, regardless of the predatory species present - thanks to a natural affinity for the Force.

"Porvir have the innate ability to discourage hostile attention by using the Force in a way similar to the mind tricks that Force users sometimes employ to persuade the weak willed. While sentient beings usually have the mental fortitude to harm or capture porvir if they try, most other animals simply ignore the creatures as if they were not present, or at least inedible. Given this unusual power, most porvir travel their habitats without any sign of fear, which can make them either unpleasant pests, or easily befriended pets, depending on the circumstances at hand."

Hi [member="Ajira Cardei"]!

Quick question as to how this pertains to sentients. Given the nature of the Porvir, how likely is this to affect Force Sensitives if it is similar to a mind-trick used on the weak-willed?
