STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Skilled and well trained in his field: Vedden, working as an Imperial Intelligence Agent, has honed specific skills such as espionage, hand to hand combat, ranged weaponry and information retrieval. He is also resourceful when it comes to attaining his mission's goal, be it personal or assigned. He not only is well trained in these but also on the more subtle art of espionage, possessing the ability to put on any hat required by the current job. He's quite the actor and enjoys this aspect of his career quite well.

Intelligent: The oldest son of a wealthy military admiral, Vedden received very thorough schooling as a child, giving him an edge in the Imperial Academy and it was this edge that helped to compensate for his non-human "handicap" in the eyes of his human sergeants.

Athletic: Vedden's occupation requires a high degree of physical fitness and he has done well to make sure his body can match the expectations of the rigorous endurance training and exams of the Imperial Intelligence. Coupled with the regulation training, he also loves playing shockball, adding to his coordination and tolerance to pain.

Resourceful: Unexpected circumstances are a given when this line of work and Vedden can be very resourceful when it comes making it through a mission. In a fight or a chase, he can use his environment to his advantage, even becoming quite adept at parkour-style running if he needs to get somewhere as quickly as possible on foot.

Brain tampering: Vedden was used, unknown to him, as a test subject for creating "sleeper" soldiers, men who would be controlled through a brain-set program. It was an unfunded, secret experiment carried out on the personal whim of a Sith scientist seeking to create a personal, obedient army. Vedden defected from Imperial Intelligence before the experiments could reach any breakthroughs. The subliminal programming and brainwashing are incomplete but have left him with some odd mannerisms.

Drug addiction: Vedden is a bit of a spice user, misusing ryll. (Ryll here is treated similar to codeine and other opiates in RL) and when he can't get ryll, he may drink. He usually fluctuates between mild to moderate drug abuse but has gone on one or two bad binges. It usually goes unnoticed unless he's in a funk.

Poor communication skills: Vedden knows what he is capable of and though he has no problem admitting he can't handle a situation, before it reaches that point he is not very good with communication skills, often taking a course of action he deems necessary without always conferring with the rest of his team. If it happens to work out, it's usually not a bad thing but in instances where his plan is somehow foiled, it can be an unpleasant surprise for anyone working with him.

APPEARANCE:
Vedden is 5'6" and weighs in at about 143lbs. He's well built, his occupation requiring peak physical fitness and he often wears his short black hair slicked back. Unless current circumstances prevent proper grooming, he is always clean shaven and well dressed. Even in casual clothes, he is still fashionable. He has no tattoos or noticeable scars.

BIOGRAPHY:
Vedden grew up in a wealthy family on Sposia where he received some of the Ascendancy's finest education. His mother was a professor, teaching biomechanics and virology and his father was a decorated officer of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet. With these credentials, it was easy for Vedden to get into some of the highest quality schools Sposia had to offer and soon after graduation, after showing a military interest, he submitted his application to Imperial Intelligence to serve as an agent. With is impressive schooling, he was selected to become an agent after passing a series of tests and interviews before heading into training.

During training, he caught the attention of a Sith scientist looking to create a soldier with complete obedience. Among others, Vedden was tested in secrecy and over years of the agent's training. Most commonly, Vedden's infirmiry doctor would be on the scientist's payroll and would use simple routine checkups and injury treatments as means of adding another layer of the brain-set technology as well as certain aspects of his training being used as brainwashing.

However Vedden caught on that something was amiss but once he began getting too deep in the investigation, he was blamed for trading insider information that lead to the death of his team. Knowing he was framed, he was forced to defect from Imperial Intelligence, faking his own death and fleeing into the Outer Rim. With his defection, the experiments were never completed, manifesting in some strange yet mostly harmless mannerisms from time to time.

Nowadays he makes his money doing industrial espionage, lending his services out to who ever can get a hold of him with the proper amount of credits.

SHIP:
He currently does not have a ship of his own, usually taking ships assigned to him by the provided by the job or hot wiring one on the go. However if he has a choice, he will go for a sporty, sleek looking mode of transportation.
