APPEARANCE:
Aester is a female Clawdite standing at 1.7 meters. She weighs approximately 65 Kg. Her eyes are a golden color, and her skin is a greenish-yellow hue. Her skin is also rough to the touch whilst in her natural form. A thin line runs down her forehead, and her cheeks are naturally sunken.
BIOGRAPHY:
Aester was born upon the world of Zolan. She never truly knew her parents as she was taken by a militant organization of Zolanders to work as a slave and servant to them at a very young age. The group was harsh, and food and other basic necessities were difficult to find for the slaves. They were subject to abhorrent working conditions in a set of dark and dirty mines, harvesting materials that would be used to forge new weapons and armors for the gang.
The young Clawdite was obedient for many years, and never strayed from the orders given to her. Punishments were severe for those that disobeyed, and that negative reinforcement taught her to obey or die. Eventually however, her thoughts began to become more focused on what her life would have been like if she had never been taken away. She longed to discover those who were her parents, and to finally escape from the life of torment that she lived.
As an adolescent, her abilities to change appearance were beginning to manifest in greater ways, and she practiced secretly inside of one of the many small slave quarters scattered throughout the mines. The Clawdite awaited for a change in circumstance before initiating her escape plan. There were others there as well that wished to leave, but going in a group meant that they would almost certainly be captured, and so Aester hid her plot from the others, resigned to the fact that they would likely not survive if they came.
Finally, a gang of Weequays appeared upon the planet seeking to purchase some of the ill-gotten materials of the Zolander militants. They were allowed access, and searched throughout the mines during a tour of the facilities. The chance to escape had finally presented itself, and Aester waited until one of the buyers had separated himself from the others. The teenage Novekki waited for him to step under an overhang, and pushed a heavy stone upon his head. The blow either knocked the man unconscious or killed him, but Aester had no time to waste in checking.
She hurriedly removed his clothes, changing into the bulkier outfit and shifting her appearance slightly to represent his own, though the frame was somewhat off. She merged back into the buying group, refraining from shifting back into her natural state throughout the entirety of the remainder of the tour, and attempting to remain inconspicuous. Eventually the tour left, and Aester felt that she had finally been granted freedom. The Zolanders were unaware of her treachery, but as she boarded the Weequay ship, it was revealed that they were very much aware.
The captain of the vessel pointed out that the clothes belonged to one of the ship's crew, and discerned that she had likely killed him in taking the cloths. Aester pleaded with the criminal gang not to take her back to slavery, and certain death. The captain relented, stating instead that she owed them her services as a changeling for a while, and then she would be free to pursue her own activities.
She worked for several years in various criminal pursuits, and became adept at deceiving others into believing falsities before stabbing them in the back. Treachery became her favored game, and she became good at moving the pieces, and scoring points with the various bosses of the underworld. Eventually, her time ran out, and she was told that she could finally leave the life of murder and drugs.
Taking the currency earned during her ill-reputed adventures, she set out to explore the stars, and to find a new purpose for her life.
