Early Life:
Prologue
Aelina Corsanis was born into a legacy of valor and honor as the daughter of Grandmaster Sala Corsanis. From a young age, Aelina was exposed to the rigorous training and disciplined lifestyle of the Ashlan Military Order of the Sacred Blades. Her mother, determined to ensure Aelina would grow to be a strong and capable leader, personally oversaw much of her early training. Aelina inherited her mother’s pale complexion and striking heterochromatic eyes, with the added benefit of a naturally athletic build, making her a standout among her peers.
Training and Education:
Aelina’s training began as soon as she could walk, starting with the basics of Echani martial arts. By the age of ten, she was already proficient in Teras Kasi and had begun training with swords. Her mother’s reputation meant Aelina was often under pressure to excel, a challenge she embraced with determination. She studied not only the physical aspects of combat but also the philosophies and ethics of the Ashlan faith, understanding the importance of balance between strength and wisdom. During her adolescence, Aelina traveled with her mother on various missions, witnessing firsthand the realities of battle and the responsibilities of leadership. This exposure instilled in her a deep sense of duty and an unwavering commitment to the Order’s principles.
A Defining Moment:
At seventeen, Aelina faced a trial that would define her path to knighthood. The Order received reports of a dark side cult operating on a remote planet, threatening to spread their influence. Grandmaster Sala led a contingent to investigate, bringing Aelina along as part of her training. During the mission, the group was ambushed, and Sala was severely wounded. Aelina, driven by a fierce need to protect her mother and comrades, stepped into the fray. Using her training, Aelina managed to fend off the attackers, demonstrating remarkable skill and bravery. She channeled the Force to enhance her speed and strength, much like her mother had taught her. The experience, though harrowing, proved Aelina’s potential as a leader and a warrior.
Knighthood:
By Twenty, Aelina had proven herself time and again in both combat and leadership roles. Her final trial before achieving knighthood was a solo mission to retrieve a sacred artifact from a heavily fortified stronghold. The mission tested her skills, ingenuity, and faith. Despite numerous obstacles and fierce opposition, Aelina successfully retrieved the artifact, showcasing her unwavering dedication to the Order.
Upon her return, Aelina was formally knighted in a grand ceremony, recognized for her exceptional contributions and potential. As a Knight of the Ashlan Military Order of the Sacred Blades, Aelina continues to uphold the values instilled in her from birth, striving to protect the galaxy from the darkness and honor the legacy of her family. After the dissolution of the crusade and the Order's scattering to the winds, Aelina wandered the galaxy, seeking to bring justice and light to its darkest corners.
