Known for his sharp wit and humor, Aedan was a serious follower of the Jedi Code, and fought hard against the enemies of the Jedi. As such, he is very learned in particularly old customs and intelligence, and remembers a great deal of things before he was put under sleep. Visiting old locations and planets will bring back sore but knowledgeable wisdom. [/SIZE]

A once sarcastic and friendly Jedi, hardships and the Gulag Plague turned Aedan into a fearful and socially stunted man. In addition, with him being removed from his cryo-sleep, Aedan has grown incredibly distrustful of the new worlds and cultures around him. Much has changed in 400 years, and Aedan is an alien here.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt][[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]-[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]] When being placed into extended cryo-sleep, much of the crew of the Dauntless was placed into skintight mesh systems called sleeper suits. Completely hardwired into the person’s nervous system, the suit was made for the extended sleep, and was very experimental. Individuals that were placed in the suits were told they would be removed from them after the time-jump completed. Aedan too was placed into one of these suits, and as such, the suit has practically become a part of him. Without the medical doctors around to remove the suit, the suit remains a horrible handicap to him.[/SIZE]

His mind is clouded and breaking at the seams, and because of this, much of his learned abilities with the Force have been lost. Unable to completely bridge his memories to his abilities, Aedan is effectively a Jedi Padawan once again, except minus his once determination and grit.[/SIZE]

Because of his, Aedan is wary of any and all people, merely relying on people’s Force signature to decide if they are a hallucination or real. He may seem odd to many, and his social abilities are weakened as a result.[/SIZE]

Aedan is a grizzled and older man now, with grey hairs poking out from his short shaved head. Short stubble claims his chin and piercing blue eyes tend to stare off into the distance, thinking about what once was. Usually covered in brown, tattered robes, Aedan tries to assume the look of a bedraggled old man to attract no attention. Underneath the robes however is the sleeper suit that completely covers much of Aedan’s body.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]The skintight machine that covers much of Aedan’s body is merely a shell covering, providing a mesh for his skin. Hardwired into his body, the machine prevents Aedan from using electrical Force attacks and they are twice as effective on him as anyone else. Blue with black and white pattern, Aedan himself has modified the sleeper suit itself, adding armor plates and wiring old bio-digital readouts. Though nothing like a fully powered armor, the suit now can monitor his heart rate, oxygen levels, and provides him with a complete communication readout at all times.[/SIZE]

BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Coruscant to a wealthy diplomat and his wife, Aedan grew up in a rather luxurious home. When it was discovered that Aedan was in fact Force Sensitive, he was sent off to the Jedi Temple almost immediately. His father and mother never seemed too far away however, generating great charity to the Jedi themselves. Before being sent off to the Temple, Aedan’s life was simple but learned, as he was educated in various languages and cultures. When he arrived at the Temple, the young Aedan gained many friends in arms, and completed his training rather quickly.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Finishing his trials and being elevated to Jedi Knight in a short time span, Aedan was seen as a determined Jedi with experience and intelligence. Full of humor and always smiling, Aedan became a good diplomat and warrior, and participated in many missions at the behest of the Jedi Council. Even with his reverence for the Jedi however, Aedan still felt a great connection to his family, and kept in contact with them daily.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]When the terrorist known as Zero unleashed the Gulag plague, the whole galaxy fell into disarray in a short amount of time, with many planets governments’ falling in days. Highly virulent and powerful, the plague caused anarchy everywhere it went. The Jedi, peacekeepers and diplomats mostly, were powerless to stop the plague. Billions died in the span of a few years, and in 428 ABY, Coruscant itself was infected.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Desperate to protect his family, and seeing no alternative, Aedan fled the Temple and practically shirked his Jedi duties to get his family off Coruscant immediately. Even with a planet-wide quarantine, Aedan was able to smuggle his family off of the planet and into deep space. Severing his link with the Jedi and abandoning his friends for his family, Aedan’s faith in the Force waned as the galaxy burned around him.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Traveling from planet to planet, Aedan and his family sought refuge anywhere they could. The Core Worlds plummeted into chaos within months of one another, and nowhere seemed safe from the Gulag plague. Weary and tired, Aedan eventually fell into companionship with a brilliant but eccentric doctor known as Doctor Savosj. Regaling Aedan with dreams of a paradise-like world on the Outer Rim, the doctor and former Jedi eventually commandeered a large industrial transport and filled it with all sorts of unaffected populace. The doctor, with the aid of local engineers, was able to fashion an incredibly crude sleeper ship out of the transport.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]The Doctors’ plan was seen as fool-proof. The local populace on the large transport would enter sleeper pods and be frozen until the specified time came. Once it came, the transport would be poised over a beautiful paradise-like world where the populace would be unfrozen and could rebuild civilization. Though some were dubious of the doctor’s claims that such a world existed, Aedan was merely happy of the idea of getting away from the crumbling galaxy.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]When the time came, the large transport ship was successfully converted into a large sleeper ship and many of the populace was put to sleep, ready to be awoken for their new journey into civilization. Outfitting himself with a sleeper suit and putting his family to rest, Aedan was placed into sleep and placed in the essential crew’s chambers. The ship was set to autopilot, and soon, the entire crew was put into the pods. Only a skeletal crew remained, piloting the ship when needed and waking up the next few once their time was up.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]To prevent them from being tracked due to hyperspace jump signatures, the pilots of the craft believed that only sub light engines could be used. As such, the initial time to travel to the planet went from a few minutes to several hundred years. However, unbeknown to any others, this was rather a clever ploy by the Doctor himself. No paradise planet was plotted in the star charts, and the doctor resigned himself to studying the various people asleep over time.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]After over 80 years of traveling, disaster struck. The small skeletal crew left alive in that time was unable to continue their mission, and as such, the next crew was never awoken from their hyper-sleep. Instead of having someone watching the mission controls and time jump hardware, the ship drifted for over 400 years. Soon, the rudimentary AI left behind dropped power from all non-essential chambers when power became scarce, effectively killing most of the transport occupants.[/SIZE]
