Advice for portraying a Pantoran(Never Mind.)

Hey folks, on this occasion I’m looking for advice on roleplaying a Pantoran. My new character, Riya Pashen Riya Pashen is one and she is serving within the High Republic’s military. Of course she had lived as an orphaned street urchin on Pantora until nine years old before she ran and ended on Tatooine before joining the High Republic much later at seventeen years old. Then she became a lieutenant a few years upon graduating from a military academy and assigned as a platoon leader in an armored division.

She hasn’t returned to Pantora because of it being just outside the Republic’s borders to the south unless I’m mistaken and the another reason is Riya has conflicted feelings toward her people and their society as a result of her rough childhood there. Unlike many of her fellow Pantorans she doesn’t have any of the traditional tattoos because she wasn‘t raised in a family that woul’ve done it and the fact is she had been born unwanted. She projects a sense of resentment of that unto Pantora’s society especially as she struggled in her childhood. Currently she feels more kinship with Tatooine and the Republic.

Of course it will be interesting to see her eventually meet fellow Pantorana who have a deeper bond with their home compared to her and that maybe one day Pantora may join the Republic unless it has already.

In any case what are some things I should consider in writing such a character?
