APPEARANCE:
Angel has two separate appearances. The first being referred to as "Raw Angel." Raw Angel is a stripped down version in which the outer layers of armor plating have been removed. In the raw state she has no synthetic flesh covering her frame. Her sensor lights become easily noticed and there are visible moving parts, servos, articulation points, so on. This form is typically only seen by her creator, [member="Amelia Deathman"], and is almost exclusively done when Angel is in need of repair. (Note profile picture of Raw Angel's face)
The second is referred to as "True Angel." This version is her most common appearance. True Angel's outer most armor plating has been coated in synthetic flesh, giving her a more human appearance. Her sensor lights are difficult to notice, and no mechanisms are actually visible. This form is used primarily to create a sense of ease with those she interacts with. A near human android is often more welcome then a walking, talking killing machine.
In both forms Angel maintains shoulder length silver hair. This hair is actually thin strands of Alusteel. This provides an extra layer of protection to her neck and head, and was actually an aesthetic choice enforced by Angel.
BIOGRAPHY:
ADS-117 was originally created for a very narrow set of uses. The unit's primary function was centered around the acquisition of new test subjects for it's creator, Amelia. These test subjects ranged from Human to Twi'lek to Rancor, based on the needs of each experiment.
This narrow frame of uses however did not last. As the ADS project progressed it became increasingly obvious that the unit could be used in an increasingly expansive manner. The primary processor, housed within 117's head, was large enough to incorporate more in-depth programming. This excess memory began to be filled with new functions, a slicing program was introduced. Giving the unit the ability to track targets in a variety of new ways, whether through the monitoring of communication networks or through the accessing of surveillance equipment. A basic piloting program followed soon after. Not a combative function but enough that the unit could pilot a variety of small craft, speeders, shuttles and the like. This insured the unit would be able to transport new subjects on it's own instead of requiring another to retrieve the unit. Eventually a decoy program was incorporated. ADS-117 could portray itself as a protocol droid, granting the unit the ability to move more freely among society.
In time the project grow to become something wholly different than the original intention. All this was done while ADS-117 was still in an infancy stage of the project. The only portion of the actual droid near completion being the head, which resided in a laboratory aboard Amelia's AT-360 Light Freighter.
Soon the project was set aside. Matters deemed more important taking precedence. The formation of DeathTech Incorporated and the start of Amelia's weapon line for instance. Left active, without the ability to perform any of it's intended functions, errors began to form in ADS-117's programming. The unit gave itself a new designation, Angel.
Now Angel has grown impatient with the lack of progress regarding itself and has chosen to take matters into her own hands. First thing first however.
