Collected: Adder didn't get to where he is in the world of agriculture without being able to keep his wits about him.
Learned: He had the best education Nadiem could provide.
Sole Focus: His only focus is on what's best for Nadiem and he will put it and it's people above the rest of the Galaxy.
Diseased: He possesses a degenerative disease that has made him limp and requires him to walk with a cane.
APPEARANCE:
Adder always wears practical clothing. It doesn't matter if he's attending a senate function or he's out in the field, he always wears clothing acceptable for working. This will sometimes make it so that he gets made fun of, but he doesn't believe it ultimately matters how you dress as long as you can do your job. He has a cane, hand carved bit of local wood, which he goes everywhere with. His hair is always at least shoulder length and he has a beard and moustache.
BIOGRAPHY:
Adder grew up poor. In years past, Nadiem was one of the Forgotten worlds of the former Republic. She produced a large amount of agricultural products, and even in the lean times was an exporter. Still, his family was on the low end of the spectrum as far as making money for their goods. They were not the largest of producers of goods that the planet had to offer. In fact, they had one of the smallest of farms.
Despite these things being stacked against him, his parents paid to send him to school, and there he developed an apt mind. When he came home as a young adult, he cleared forest in unclaimed land, by hand, and was working on a new aqueduct system to water the crops when his disease hit. By this point they had the funds to hire some help who completed the task and ultimately made his family a large profit.
It was about this time that he met Reza, who eventually became his wife and the mother of his child. She would eventually die in childbirth, along with his second child. The farm continued to grow even when his parents died and they became the largest exporter in their area of the planet. So when the Republic came knocking, he was ultimately chosen to be the world's Senator, even if the Republic opted not to set up on their world. He would be the one to curry favors among the Republic government. While his daughter fought for them, he would represent them.
