Captain Larraq
Capitalist
Mesen'loras Campaign
Act 09: Out of our League
(Skek'zus Quall)
It had taken days of searching and hours of negotiating back and forth over the holonet before Mr Larraq had been able to find a suitably skills Yuuzhan Vong Shaper. In truth, it had taken the Mandalorian a considerable amount of time to locate an individual that so much as claimed to be a shaper. It had taken days beyond that for him to locate one with evidence to back up the claim. But at last, Shaper [member="Aynea Savan Xyhn"] had agreed to a set of terms and made her way to Ord Cestus.
In that time, Skek'zus Quall had been busy. Constant tweaking and changes to the genetic code, plus a few short-run cloning attempts to confirm the accuracy of the computer model had left him confident that the core of the Mesen'loras's genetic code was stable and ready for final production. Skek'zus had even made a few improvements. Small alterations here and there had resulted in vast improvements in several key organs and even in the organelles that existed within the cellular structure of the Mesen'loras. A few minor tweaks had improved the circulatory system and optimized the internal layout of the passenger compartments.
The ship... The creature... It was nearly complete. The fact that it needed the intervention of another to reach perfection was a constant source of shame and aggravation for Skek'zus. But in the end, he resigned himself to the fact that he had reached 'near perfection' and took what solace in it that he could.
