DESCRIPTION
ACS-604 Mk5 Diamond Boron Shipbreacher Missile is a monster. A diamond boron missile scaled up to an assault warhead designed to penetrate shields and armor and wreak havoc on large capital ships. The Guidance system has been completely removed, nothing more than a delayed detonator remains, having been torn out to make space for a large individual field disruptor. This device allows it to bypass many types of shields, though more advanced shielding is less affected, normally only able to be bypassed when weakened. The warhead, at close range is powerful enough to drive into armor with a delayed detonator and a shaped explosion to penetrate a ship's hull and devastate internal functions.
For primary engine, the missile uses a high speed, fusial thrust engine known for being very fast, however its maneuvering capabilities have been stripped out in order to reduce the engines profile, for a quick moving powerful explosive, perfectly designed for its primary purpose. The very durable diamond boron warhead is able to withstand a great degree of damage, highly resistant to starfighter and defense weapons, and the engine has smaller access to be struck by stray bolts as it lacks the need for maneuvering systems. As the fuel cell provides power to the whole warhead, once the fuel is empty, the IDF no longer functions, and its armor penetration abilities are drastically reduced without an active engine.
Finally, the main warhead is large, an upscaled diamond boron warhead sized up from standard diamond boron warheads used by the Marauder and Broadside cruisers to about half as powerful as an assault grade warheads.
The small fuel capacity, the complete lack of any guidance system, the warhead has limited uses, really only good for delivering powerful blows to ships, though at anything even just beyond standard range, not even a Corellian could pull off heavy damage with these. No communication system to remote detonate or control, no guidance system to independently target, and all electronics feeding off the fuel cell, its little more than a volatile floating ornament after it runs out of fuel unlikely to even detonate once out of fuel unless fired upon.

- Defense: Made as an upscale Diamond Boron Missile, the warhead is difficult to stop, able to survive numerous starfighter and defense weapon bolts
- Shield Bypass: Probably the most important feature of the missile is that it bypasses most types of shielding (Molecular, Thermal, etc are unlikely though if weakened enough possible)
- Unguided: The missiles are not guided, they fly straight from the launcher with no turns, no maneuvers, just straight as an arrow.
- Mid-Sized: While being an assault Torpedo or Missile, the explosive charge itself is only about half as powerful as normal assault grade missiles.
