Since my house is within your sphere of influence, I figured it would be a good idea to learn more about the faction here. If for no other reason than to determine if I still need that tax shelter out on Laekia or not...

Corellia is actually disputed territory between us and FWC, long story short when we were going major we were going to take Corellia as our capital but turns out at the same time FWC wanted to do a dominion of it, so we compromised and went to Denon but agreed to do a dominion of Corellia together and then divide up the hex, but in the map rules update the staff gave us Corellia anyway and changed map trading rules so we can't trade individual planets.

So we're still planning on going through with our initial promise and giving Corellia to FWC but because of the continued complications and obstacles in our way the planet is kind of shared between the two factions, we have a diplomatic/faction thread about it with FWC if you would want the link.

So actually your property would be in Metal Lord space, for now at least, but it would not be governed by them, so good news is whatever taxes you would have to pay would be set by the Corellian government rather than a droid overlord like Mettallum

So what kind of story lines were you interest in doing with us? Just hanging out and seeing where it goes or having a more active presence? Because Sor could be a representation of sorts of the people inhabiting the planets of what became the Metal Lord space, just kind of having to deal with them, or even a voice of dissent, a political presence, or something more still. We don't really make much restrictions OOCly about what kind of threads our member or others do with us, if we don't like something we'll act upon it ICly, if we can.

Well, Sor-Jan is a Corellian, a Jedi, and the CEO of a Tier V company.

I tend to just see where things go, but it strikes me that "all of the above" is possible given the different aspects of society that Sor-Jan interacts with or represents. I may jump into a couple of threads with you guys just to see how things shape up.

I think a good place to introduce Sor should be the negotiation thread between FWC and Metal Lords concerning Corellia and other disputed territories between them, it's open to Corellian officials and company representatives to speak with the Metal Lords who assembled to officially talk to Alderaan and Corellians about their intention towards their planet. HK already issued a decree that they'll stay away from Corellian business and let them choose their own allegiances, whether to go with Alderaan, remain with the Metal Lords, or try to work both sides and kind of stay as a neutral planet in between them.

Oh, no, there isn't anyone in rank above Metal Lords so they don't pay taxes, you could charge taxes or fees for people who would either live inside you or use you for transportation.
