HEIGHT: 2.12 Meters
WEIGHT: 95 Kg

SKIN: Light Blue
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Personal Strengths:
Endurance:
Abelain does not tire easily, and is far more likely to get up after injury and continue than many of his more powerful brethren. This makes him incredibly good at tanking through various assaults, despite the inherent danger and damages that they may incur upon him, and to continue after the wounding has commenced in carrying out his goals. He also suffers from the woeful effect of exhaustion far later than the average individual of his kind, and has been known to simply defeat an opponent through attrition.
Quick Learner:
Learning a new subject can be difficult for many species throughout the galaxy, and with such a plethora of knowledge available, it can be hard to learn enough about a single subject to become adequate in it's use. Abelain manages to sift through information in a very efficient and effective manner, requiring less time to become acquainted with a subject than others. This attribute displays itself in both scholarly pursuits, and in combat as it allows him to formulate plans depending on the apparent strengths and weaknesses of his foes.
Powerhouse:
Abelain; despite not being the strongest of his people, is still quite powerful, and packs a vicious punch behind his blows. He is capable of lifting reasonably heavy objects, and has been known to pick up people before during combat. This strength lends itself to great effects when fighting opponents of greater skill or with better equipment as it enables him to simply pound his opponent into the dust, and rend them to pieces through his own natural abilities. Personal Weaknesses:
Superior:
Abelain; like many Arue'tii, believes himself superior to the 'inferior' species of the galaxy. This comes out quite clearly in his behavior around them, especially in terms of disregarding incoming attacks which he perceives as unable to injure him. Attacks on his pride from lesser beings are likely to incite violent response, and he consistently loses his temper when being fought which can lead to minor mistakes in his standard method of operation. If someone wanted to lure Abelain into a trap, they need only insult his people and he would come.
Honorable:
Abelain holds to a code of honor, he restricts himself from combating the crippled or restrained, as such would not allow for Escalation. This inner code stands steadfast as a testament to his zealous adherence to the primary religion of Ghul. The code; while a restraint on the misdeeds that the Arue'tii might otherwise commit, means that Abelain may not be able to perform actions that would otherwise bring about negative effects, or that if he did, he would suffer from intense guilt from breaking his oath.Ignorant:
Put simply, Abelain is ignorant of many of the ideas and technologies that pervade the Universe. While this weakness will fade with time, it is still evident at the moment. This means that the explorer will not understand how many types of machinery operate, and will be generally unable to pilot most types of advanced vessel. He will also have difficulty in using all but the most basic of weaponry, and may have trouble understanding the potential advantage that electronics and machines may make possible without them being explained.APPEARANCE:
Abelain is covered in a blue-ish tinted exoskeleton. This exoskeleton appears to be skin to the regular viewer. His eyes are a light blue and are covered by a membrane. He tends towards not wearing very much equipment, though a lone red cape is often tied about him. His elbow plates appear to be sharper than the others. Exterior chitin over his mouth makes him appear to be smiling, while also allowing for protected speech. He has black hair which lays closely upon his head.
BIOGRAPHY:
Abelain was concieved on Ghul. He was raised to a loving family and taught the customs of his people, it was at this point that he picked up both of his personal weaknesses. As he grew, his descendance from Sarith became known. After he reached adulthood after many uneventful years, he began work for his uncle, the infamous Vandel. Vandel had taken control, and his closest relatives and family were each offered positions within his empire.
Abelain became an officer, being sent into battle to combat the rebel forces that threatened the reign of his uncle. He did not always agree with the way that his uncle ran things, but he also saw need for order, something that the war and rebels were taking away. Warfare among his own people became simple, and he grew to understand the tactics and operations behind it.
The war stretched on for many fateful years, and the character of Vandel continued to be known. He was a cruel and harsh ruler, though he gave a measure of leniency towards family. When Hazarin and Vandel finally clashed in the final true fight of the war, their fate was clear; exile to Ghul's moon.
Vandel had never had a son, and so he considered Abelain to be like an heir to him. When the time came for the supporters of Vandel to be taken away, Abelain was allowed to remain. It seemed as though Vandel had expunged information which put his nephew at multiple battles, and made it appear that Abelain was not quite a supporter of his uncle.
After the war had ended, and a few years had passed, he signed up for The Order of Hazarin. The Order trained him in the ways of combat and exploration, but most importantly they gave him his quick learning.
Throughout the many sessions of sparring that took place to prepare Abelain for the outer galaxy, he learned that while not the strongest or fastest of The Order, he always got back up again and kept at it, to the point that a few spars were won due to his opponents becoming exhausted. Decades passed in the training of The Order and their slow indoctrination into his mind. After he had graduated to the esteemed position of Explorer, he was given a basic vessel, taken by previous Arue'tii explorers, and given it with the orders to explore the universe and to find both useful technologies, hostile threats, and knowledge of the galaxy.
The Arue'tii discovered many new life forms, as well as remarkable technologies that would never have been dreamed of on resource-poor Ghul. The explorer also came into contact with the One Sith, and his future teacher Mullarus.
It was here that his first encounter with lightsabers was made, and they proved to be a weapon of light which could not pierce his hide. To prove his worth to the teacher, Narv'uk executed an Iridonian champion with his own weapon. He has held onto the basic saber ever since. The teacher taught him many things, and they participated together in a couple skirmishes and battles. Later, the teacher took on another student, an amnesiac girl who was promptly named Fortuna.
With his apprentices in tow, Krux Mullarus led his students as well as his old friend Darth Azurea to fight against his grandfather, a tormenting figure throughout his life. Abelain himself did not personally fight with the individual, but instead was present as both rear-guard and as medic when the teacher was inevitably injured in the brutal and fierce combat. The only two casualties of the battle were a single private and the grandfather.
It was following these events that calamity struck. Krux and Azurea supposedly began an affair with one another, finally culminating in Azurea leaving him. This struck a nerve with Krux who; in his blind rage, destroyed a One Sith location and slaughtered many innocent civilians. Plans were made to assault the Sith Academy on Glee Anselm, and Abelain attempted to reason with Krux that he was blinded by emotions and was making both tactical mistakes as well as moral ones that even the Arue'tii could not condone. In response, he was flung to the ground and branded as being inferior to the teacher.
Krux later left the Paladin, though his reasons for doing so are unclear. The ship was put into the possession of it's sole remaining Sith occupant, Abelain Narv'uk. It also contained nearly three-hundred soldiers who had been affected by the supersoldier drug that Krux had forced upon them. Many of their compatriots died in the vile process, leaving them bitter and seeking vengeance, something promised them by their new leader.
Abelain set out on a journey to exterminate [member="Krux Mullarus"], and to set him into his place as inferior.
Throughout that crusade, Abelain grew stronger, learning and studying and gradually strengthening himself for his coming battle. He participated in the dreadful One Sith coup on the side of the rebels, assisting with use of his supersoldiers and the Paladin to eliminate loyalist forces. However, despite the goal of that coup being reached, it changed little and only led to the branding of all rebels as traitors. Thankfully, the disorganization left in the wake of the brutal battle meant that the Arue'tii could slip away, and come off practically blame-free for his role in the event.
Finally, after many months he tracked down his foe and ex-teacher upon the destitute planet of Dagobah. They fought one another viciously, each employing new abilities learned along their respective journeys. The fight ended decisively in victory for Abelain after landing particularly savage blows upon his opponent. Krux fled into the jungle, and moments later his presence in the Force died away, determining his fate in the eyes of the explorer.
Satisfied, though lost without the cause that had been his life for several months, the Arue'tii began once more to explore the galaxy, culminating in the interaction with many different individuals; both friend and foe. One particularly intriguing event led to his discovery of a prison on the planet of Belsavis where he released an ancient and powerful warrior from his immortal resting place: [member="Blazing Eye"]
Upon defeating the Esh-Kah in single combat by fair means, he gathered him up and returned his newly captured prisoner to the Paladin, curing him of his ailments and wounds. Following his warrior code, the Esh-Kah promptly declared allegiance to it's new master, becoming an agent of his will. Stipulations were put into place that should Blazing Eye ever defeat him in single combat, he would be free from his obligation once more.
The pair soon found themselves upon the planet of Felucia in a search for the Holocron of Kyle Katarn. Rumors had placed it upon the planet, and as they were nearing the hidden pathway that would lead to the goal, they encountered a pair of Jedi. The Jedi who introduced themselves as [member="Vorian Adasca"], and [member="Joza Perl"] would not allow the Sith to continue their mission in peace, and chose to combat them. The fight was vicious and brutal, ending only after Vorian was impaled on Perl's saber. Abelain ordered his Esh-Kah guardian to remove her hand so that they could not follow them, and they abandoned the pair to their fate, choosing instead to retrieve the device without further bloodshed.
The survival of the pair later led to knowledge of their duel being taken to an individual known as Nikias. Nikias summoned the pair under false pretenses to a dead city upon the planet Ziost. Here, he revealed his goal of revenge and assaulted the pair of Sith, drawing on the power of the Dark Side to fuel himself in their battle. The combat ended abruptly when the pale Dark Jedi hurled Abelain into the sky, and promptly slammed him against the ground, nearly killing the Arue'tii. His guardian companion was also assaulted via telekinesis, and promptly slipped into unconsciousness.
The avenger left them to live, stating that their allowing the Vorian and Joza to survive their own encounter was the only reason behind his act of mercy. Abelain was retrieved by the crew of the Paladin, and after nearly a week of treatment was finally nursed back to health.
