Okay, i do have a question, what is the limits and/or requirements here if i were to create user-made tech and / or a species?

Nothing too big (For the species... the tech may indeed be rather large >.>)

Common sense has to prevail, in the name of balance: don't submit anything OP or that won't fit in, and you should be good to go. They'll comment on the submissions themselves as and when you post them, and if you're not sure, feel free to approach them directly, or ask the rest of us on particular points.

Might I introduce you to the Codex, a forum explicitly for user-created species! The Factory is for user-created tech. Both have their own (very similar) sets of rules and (very similar) approval systems to prevent powergaming. Enjoy, and don't be afraid to ask questions in the discussion areas. ^_^

Hi (Sorry for double posting)

Though I do have a single, final question,

What is the core faction for the Jedi here, i found two candidates in the faction settings, one being the Jedi Academy, and the other being the Order of the Silver Jedi... Or are the Galactic republic also a Jedi state which has their own Jedi?

Could someone please explain this to me?

We don't have a core one: we have The Galactic Republic, which as usual have their Jedi, the Silver Jedi, which are a Major Faction in their own right, and then a cacophony of minor Jedi factions.

All of them are as valid as each other. If I were you I'd do a little research into each and see which one best suits your writing style and the character you have in mind. There will be subtle differences.

I recommend speaking to Corvus Raaf when it comes to the Republic, if you want anything clearing up, and Thurion Heavenshield or Iella E'ron for the Silver Jedi. As for the smaller Factions, seek out the Faction Owner (it shows beneath the faction name in the Faction Directory!)


EDIT: We also have the Levantine Sanctum, which was built from Former Jedi who wanted to make a difference without all the political poodoo that held back the Republic Jedi - amongst other things. They're pretty sweet.

As I say, depending on the character you have in mind, will alter which Faction he/she will be more suited to
