Nemene stood quietly in the center of the shuttle craft.
There was a large dent formed in the center of the bulkhead before her, durasteel broken and bent by the impact of a fist. Her hands were clenched at her sides, holding nothing in a white knuckled grip. A scowl was on her lips, the bright dark orange eyes in her head cast down towards her feet.
She practically radiated frustration and anger.
She didn't understand. She didn't know why this was happening. She couldn't even fathom how this had happened.
That void. That empty feeling. It was still there. Even after taking on her new body, even after gaining even more power. The void was still there. That hole inside of herself, that want, that need for something. What was it for? It was not for beauty, she had that now. This boy was striking. Piercing silver hair contrasted with bright orange. Smooth silky skin, muscular fit physique.
She was almost as beautiful as her old self.
What more could she ask for?
