A vision of Blue in a forest of brown.

Salis D'aar Capital City of Bakura,

Bakura a rather lovely planet with some fascinating customs. It's capital city of Salis D'aar a rather busy place this time of year. It was the location of a rather popular annual Ball celebrating good health and good fortune of one of the Senator's families since the end of Imperial Rule. It amused Viktor being Imperial himself to be at a celebration of such a thing.

However the food and drink were good, and the atmosphere light and playful. Viktor himself was dressed in a black Tuxedo with an ornamental cane in his hand mostly for show. He made his way through the crowd with a glass of wine in his hand with a smile stopping in front of an older man.

"Good evening Senator thank you for the invitation." "It is a rather lovely gathering."

Viktor smiled as they discussed every manner of thing from politics, business, and repulsorlift technology. Occasionally between comments he would scan the crowd around him before bringing his focus back to the Senator for the next point of discussion. By the time they got 15 minutes into the conversation Viktor was desperately looking for a reason to get away. While good to have a working knowledge of many planets and societies he found the play by play history of Bakura soul crushingly boring. With a smile and a short bow Viktor politely excused himself using getting another drink as an excuse to get away. As he turned he saw somebody that interested him more than hearing more about the Senator's grand schemes to further his families station.

An annual ball.

Not one of Amber's usual scenes, but given her lack of experience them she was happy to attend. The ball was for a senator that Amber herself was not too familiar with, however he was an old friend of her father so she was given an invite out of goodwill. This whole event was so interesting for the Chiss girl who was more used to finding valuable scraps than sharing cocktails with the elite. Amber was reluctant to go at first but she was swiftly reminded by her father that a girl her age should experience as much as she can before age consumes her.

Amber's curvaceous body was tightly hugged by a sleek gold dress which parted at the left side to reveal her left leg. Her long shiny black hair was loosely curled with the left side tucked behind her ear. Amber attracted quite a few stares, but she could not tell if it was because of her outfit or the fact that she was the only Chiss there. Nonetheless Amber carried on about her business.

The senator had introduced Amber to some friends and she began to converse with them. The conversations about the Galactic community, her eyes and the senator himself were not exactly thrilling but she smiled and played along. After about 15 minutes Amber had decided enough was enough and took her leave with the excuse that she needed some fresh air. With cocktail in hand she left the group and went to a large balcony that over looked the beautiful city. Taking a deep breath Amber uttered to herself

"ugh, you should not have come here Amber"

To Viktor [member="Amber"] was a picture of beauty in Blue and Gold. He had only met only one other Chiss so far. At least he thought Amber was Chiss. More than anything she was a welcome distraction from the rest of the crowd. He went grabbing another glass of wine before making his way to follow her. He paused a few feet away from her.

"The party is inside................or it was until you left."

Viktor made his way over to her stepping up beside her leaning on the railing leaning his cane against it between them. He smiled to her.

"I hope you don't mind me saying this but you look positively exquisite."

He extended a hand to her.

"Viktor...............mind if I join you?"

He turned facing her leaning against the railing as he took a sip of his drink. His smile was warming and inviting.
