Arceneau Trade Company Headquarters
BROWNCOAT ARMS & INDUSTRIAL
Corellia

There came the winds of change. A kind of change that smelled of profit and opportunity. With the acquisition of Czerka Arms and Czerka Mining and Industrial, a fresh coat of paint and a new name brought forth Browncoat Arms & Industrial along with Havan Shipyards. Things were looking fantastic.

Now was the time to start prospecting worlds; worlds to expand her mining operations and establish new beachheads so to speak on untapped worlds full of resources. She had a list and she was checking it twice. She would expand Browncoat Industrial above and beyond, to make it a premier company under the Arceneau Trade Umbrella of assured commodity. Slowly but surely... things were certainly looking her way.

Alisha'ven would be looking over interests down near Abrion Corporate Authority and Black Sun space, while she will be delving into that near the Protectorate, neutral, and hopefully expand to that of Lords of the Fringe for a profitable venture for them all.

The first of these was Umpathia and Apatros.

The first would be Cortosis.

Now there were several worlds already near and within Mandalorian territory that would suit her just fine. However, she had closer ties with [member="Marek Starchaser"] -- and having the head of the Techno Union was one boon that Danger wasn't about to ignore. They could find a mutually beneficial arrangement with all of this.

Apatros.

Originally, the bulk of the mines were under former Confederate of Independent Systems juristiction -- but since then it has seen two distinct regime changes. Not good for making sure that the wheels would keep turning. Subach Innes had contract with CIS, and with Subach no longer an issue, this meant that she could move in with ATC and Browncoat Industrial to do what she needed to do.

And profit.

The first would require a survey of the area -- Alisha'ven would be taking care of that along with Mara TibX and Fuels geographic surveyors.

Once she could get a good report on the entirety of what was available, the status of the mines under ACA juristic, and also what remain of the private sector, she could work with Marek to come up with a suitable proposition.

The man himself was to come over and discuss business soon enough. Time for some whiskey to kick it up a notch.

And where were the spiders
Nowadays Marek was getting away from actually leading the Techno Union, but those who needed to know knew who was really making the decisions. And that was him, he made the major change decisions, and that would include mining. Besides [member="Danger Arceneau"] was a major player for Marek. Someone he could trust and someone he knew would watch his back.

And he was going to make sure that ATC always had a home in the space he worried about. Until he was no longer able to keep himself concerned with this corner of the galaxy.

He made a trip out to go see the Trade Queen, and that meant sneaking himself onto Corellia. Tricky, but not unheard of. Making his way to the planet was easy, enough pay and people would not ask names. Getting off? That’d be something else. Making his way to the Browncoat office, Starchaser entered and found his way to the meeting room.

“Miz Arceneau.”

"Mistah [member="Marek Starchaser"]," Danger would purr out with a grin. Ever since their bout of electronic talk Danger had been looking forward to this meeting. This was how she was going to expand Mohc Extractives as well as Browncoat Industrial in Apatros and Umpathia. A bit of profit for all parties involved.

She would sashay over to the man, leaning over to press a small kiss upon his cheek. "Always a pleasure." she'd coo, giving him a lift of both brows in intrigue.

"I take it your trip went well?"

[member="Marek Starchaser"]

Alisha'ven

Arceneau Trade Company
Elsewhere Alisha was. Or more appropriately, putting vested interests with Mohc Extractives, Mara TibX, Browncoat industrial and havan shipyards all together in Umpathia. A little bit of this and that would make this mining expansion all the better.

In order to get more revenue and use local labor, the four companies would work in collaboration. Alishaven had her orders, and one particular cortosis mine would be in the fore. Already ATC security and personnel had taken over the prison moon of Umpathia. The subsequent acquisition of the rest of the asteroid belt and planetary system would be an endeavor that would take at least another month.

But it was progress.

For now, negotiations with the insecticode inhabitants would be in the works.

The conversation with Marek would bring some fruits.

Joint work in mining and in providing a means for both to find a mutually beneficial business relationship. For now, the focus would be towards expanding the cortosis mining facilities.

Updates from from the current relations between the Insecticide inhabitants of Umpathia were working well. Alisha'ven had a knack for being able to appeal to the baser nature of requirements in business dealings.

The survey of the Umpathian asteroid field of as it would progress would be sent back to Danger as it unfolds.

Alisha'ven

Arceneau Trade Company
Arceneau Trade along with Mara TibX and Browncoat Industrial were now in the midst of setting up permanent facilities. Temp mobile stations had been put in place along with a small mining fleet. Escort ships would patrol the area, while scouts would continue to survey the ongoing asteroid field that surrounded the system.

It was a slow procedure, but it had to be done. For security, several advanced notice sensors were scattered across the Umpathian system in the event any other ships would enter the area. They were too small to detect off the bat without some deep searching, but by then at the very least the mining facilities and the prison turned factory and deep space station would be alerted.

Slowly but surely things were going underway.

Umpathian mining operations were first. There was a wealth of cortosis on the Umpathian moon; more so in the surrounding asteroid field. Browncoat Industrial along with Mara TibX would provide the geographical surveys; from there it was simply a matter of mapping deposits, estimating output, setting up shop.

The Mandal Hypernautics asteroid mining barges would be doing the bulk of the work here once things went underway. Alisha'ven would be inspecting and observing the entire operation with a critical eye. This may not be one of the largest deposits in the galaxy, but it would do for their needs just fine.

Having a cortosis mine available from the former prison would give ATC a new method of providing quality ore and minerals to the 'verse. It was all going according to plan. One small step at a time.

A small beep would flare upon the Rutian's datapad, and a smile would curl.

The results of the initial scan within the Umpathian asteroid were promising indeed. The result would ensure the entire system under the secured protection and oversaw by Browncoat Industrial, Mara Tibx, and Arceneau Trade company.

Defensive platforms were set across the most prominent mines, with high tech early warning systems for anyone that might enter this space. With Arceneau Trade security escorts constantly patrolling, the entire Umparian system would find itself protected and find a peace of mind.

Apatros.

Cortosis ore. It was a profitable venture. One that would see that Arceneau would buy and acquire their own mine through Techno Union means. It was all about investments now. Having Marek Starchaser involved only allowed the process to go easier.

Apatros was a desolate world in the Apatros system of the Savareen sector, located in the Outer Rim Territories under the jurisdiction of the Abrion Corporate Authority and the Techno Union -- which maintained the series of cortosis mine's on the planet. Browncoat and Mara TibX's job was simple, to scout the planet for any more potential veins of cortosis. It would be a profitable venture for both of them. A discovery and establishment of a new cortosis mine would assure a supply of cortosis for both Arceneau Trade and the Abrion Corporate Authority, as well as net them a viable profit by continuing mining production.

It would take an initial investment to bring long term micro transactions of profits; but Danger was in this for the long haul. Microtransactions were where the money and low risk ventures were at.

Slow and steady win the race after all,

And where were the spiders
What Marek really needed to stop doing was spacing out. He and [member="Danger Arceneau"] were having a wonderful conversation, and between business partners, he wasn’t afraid of her getting Cortosis. It would be better that she found her own mine, could sell it and then he’d know who was making runs for it. Would have to cover the local-to-Abrion source, but that was another situation entirely. Should probably get on SpyNet about setting up an honor guard there.

Marek had a hand in a few things, and liked to keep in the know when it came to science and the ore mining. Sure, he started a company and promptly sold it, but for him, it wasn’t yielding the profit. When he sold it though, that was when he was seeing the return. Jealous? Maybe a touch, but it was all for Tion ways and Tion laws, now, wasn’t it?

He knew that Danger was in it for the profit, but keeping some of the profit for the Union? And Abrion? That was the best decision he could make. Danger could afford to lose a little when she was gaining so much, besides, what helped one partner company, helped them all, right?
