A plea to the Mandalorian warrior

These were dark times indeed. The galaxy kept in a war that never seemed to end. If there were not external threats there were internal.
However, when it came to the Republic it seemed that its internal threats more often then not became external threats as well.

Mantic took a deep breath and let out an equally long sigh. He feared there was no turning back but considering the massacres that would be reaped in its wake he had to try.
He was not well connected, but this man was all he had to go on for this.
He knew that the Republic struggled to keep their diplomats safe and as things were officials were not sent without proper communication with [member="Faith Balor-Organa"] who was trying to get on top of the inner turmoul of the republic. He was unsure if a republic diplomatic effort would be able to make it to Mandalorian space before it was too late.

He opened the holographic communication device and tapped in a few commands. A finger tracked his cheek scarred with memories of past battles. He knew very well he was not a beauty to behold but the one he was calling was not likely to care much about that fact. The thought at least offered him a feint smile.
Then he stood and watched straight, making sure his robes looked proper enough.

As the recording started Mantic took a formal bow.

"Greetings," he began as he stood straight again.

"I am Jedi Master Mantic Dorn and I have contacted you on a most urgent matter." he informed and wet his lips to continue.

"As we speak a Mandalorian invasion force is inbound to Roche where a Republic fleet is is expected to meet the attack. I do not pretend to understand what has caused all of this but I am certain that the republic is in shock for this. The republic has supported and stood by the Mandalorians many times, I myself has fought side by side with your warriors on Generis and Aeten II by the wish from the Republic. I saw Republic soldiers fight and die for your cause on those places."

Mantic shook his head slightly and seemed to collect his thoughts.

"I do not know what role you have among the Mandalorian clans but I was on the Wheel on your birth day. I escorted a Republic Minister to the occasion and she was there to show the Republics support of the Mandalorian presence on the station. We met there and I saw that many Mandalorians looked up to you."

"I am not a republic politician, I am only a jedi, a warrior. And like you I fight for a cause. No government is without flaws, but the internal conflict of the Republic should be left for the Republic to handle. Everywhere the usurpers forcves is being pushed away and the proper Republic leadership can again take their seats. Anyone can see that, but now the Mandalorians have chosen to turn on the republic."

"I believe a grave fault is being made here. In those battles where the Republic stood by your side we fought the sith in its many forms. We fought the Primevil, who now is suffering from an internal conflict far greater then the Republics. Now is not the time to abandon your war against those who we fought so hard against. Now is the time to proceed and take the momentum in that war."

"I fear something dark is growing in the halls of the Mandalorians if this is not obvious to them."

"Therefore I stand here with a simple plea - I wish to urge you to talk with the clans. Make them realize the mistake they are making. The Republic is not your enemy."

Mantic stepped back and inclined his head lightly. Then the recording ended and was sent.

He was not sure he would receive a reply, or if it was even necessary. But he had done what he could on the matter, for now.
