The bright morning sun peaked over the horizon. Casting golden rays that glistened off the snow and frost covered world. The heat from the early light was barely noticeable in the cold spring air, but still enough to stir life on this alpine world. For a few, the day began even before the sun made its appearance.
Eerie moved with determination. Ice and snow crunching beneath her small boot clad feet. Whisps of warm are formed small halos around her head with each breath, before dissipating into the cold air that bite at the warm coat she wore. Her heterochromatic eyes scanned the crowd gathered in the center of town. A crowd mostly of visitors from the Jedi temple on Naboo. Definitely a rare site around here.
She finally reached her Kubrae, Thonir, who sat at the edge of the crowd. Placing the last saddle bag on his back and securing it, she ran her gloved fingers through his fur. Today marked the start of a several day journey along the trail of singing stones. Large pillars that echoed with the force that were used as beacons to guide travelers around.
Her eyes left Thonir and scanned the group around her. They had all been given a Kubrae partner and just enough supplies for the trip. A map wasn't provided, for this journey required listening to the force for directions. Listen and focus well enough, and you'll here the stones calling to you and guiding you in the right direction. Eerie herself had done this before while exploring the vast open wilderness that surrounded the village of Thalios. But...she would keep that to herself for now. The rest of the lesson and how to go about it was to be left up to whichever Jedi was in charge at the time....if they went with them at all.
