A New Dawn

What now?

What should she do?

Train? There was only so much of that she could do. The lightsabers on her side burned slightly, itching to be used in combat, itching to cut and kill. Her hands curled, fingers grazing against her own palm. She didn't know what to do with herself. The past few years had all been a constant. Training with mom, being taught by dad, showing Lily just how good she had gotten in a fight.

It had all been the same, had all gone so well...and then they had left.

Without a word of warning or a sign of something being wrong her parents had simply left. No sign, no trace, nothing. She huffed slightly. Part of Rose had already come to terms with this, part of her had guessed at why they had done it, why they needed to do it.

Yet it left her at an impasse, it left her with nothing to do. She had thought to join the One Sith, she had thought to walk in her mothers path and become a Voice of the Dark Lord. Yet that seemed utterly useless now. She knew it would not make her mother proud. Rose had asked Lily, but her sister had seemed indifferent, wrapped up in her won little world. She frowned slightly, looking out at the small village before her, standing in an empty field.

What was she supposed to do?

Life runs along different strands, each and every one connecting one another. Some call it the Force. Others call it Fate.

Maarah simply called it opportunity.

The Star Wolves made a grab for that in spades.

The Drunken Mynock was noisy and croweded. The atmosphere was a mixture of music, loud voices, laughter and a heavy blanket of smoke.

A wide variety of people mingled together. Some were off long-haul freighters, eagerly celebrating the end of an eighteen-month run. Then tehre were the miners, just in from the asteriods and anxious to get their fantasies into motion, most of which had been moths in the making. Still others, were there to merely celebrate the payout of a five-week cargo run.

This little village was a small stopping port of trade; a spacer stop with a cantina, the trade post, and what have you necessities to satisfy a lonely spacer in between hauls.

This specific outpost dealt in the common goods, but what made this day different was that there was going to me more than your average run passing by today. Word was kept low, but for those seeking to make a quick haul and take advantage, a run of prime rough cut Corseca Gems was going through for the Jeweler's Guild on Chandrila.

And Raja the Hutt had a keen interest in getting them for himself.

Enter the Star Wolves and things were going to get interesting tonight.

@Maarah

She moved down from the fields and into the village.

Rose realized there was no point in dallying all day, standing around and thinking about what she was to do. Besides, she hardly wanted to go camping all night. Lily had always been the more...civilized of the two of them, but Rose hardly cared for the outdoors anymore than she did. She was willing to weather it if she had to, but there was a village.

There she could likely find an inn with a room or two, and if not she could just buy a house. Father had left her enough credits to purchase this whole world, though of course she only carried a fraction of a fraction of that on her. Carrying more would be silly, even for her.

Tucking her lightsabers behind the small of her back and ensuring that her coat hid them Lily headed into the nearest Inn, the Drunken Mynock.
