Namesake
A small contingent of officers gathered in a crowded room.
Sky was among them.
The whole lot came to this room for one purpose: to brush up on their xenoanthropology. The Fleet was lucky to have such an expert on board, someone who could, to the best of their ability, make sure these officers were prepared for what they might encounter in the unknown. It was critical, after all. High Command couldn't afford any unnecessary conflicts, lost alliances, or simply getting killed in the field over a misunderstanding with the locals.
Sky found a seat near the back, her datapad handy, and awaited the arrival of their instructor.
The other officers did much of the same. They took their place. A little banter here and there, but mostly they were eager to jot down what they needed to know and be sent on assignments all across the galaxy soon after.
