Ultimatum
Duranium Lord
Ultimatum stood as he responded with a laugh, "Thanks but I'll pass. I've grown rather fond of the body I am in." Even if it was a little beat up at the moment. This was perhaps the most damage it had sustained since its creation and the droid wondered whether it would survive. He decided that it would have to, how else was this mission to be accomplished. His first experience with another artificial intelligence, his brother aside. It was something he looked forward to, at last something that he could understand and speak with plainly.
His smile disappeared as he thought about that. He wondered what it was like to be an ancient artificial intelligence. It was perhaps the loneliest thing in the galaxy, even with organic creators it was rare for one to find another being which would comprehend it in its most basic understanding. Organics often tried to find those with similar experience to themselves, he was perhaps trying the same thing. he wondered if it was odd for a droid to be looking for companionship. He had never spent much time trying to find out what was 'normal' for a droid. At his base he was a droid and would normally have not required any social interaction, but he had been made by an organic and he had been given a need to interact. It was a dichotomy that often caused him difficulty and heartbreak. Yet he knew it was part of that which made him entirely unique. This was why it was important to him to find the artificial intelligence hidden here, to try and fill a gap within his being that struck him as entirely unnatural.
He took a few steps, pacing to keep his mind from going too much further. He turned back to [member="Lord Zrixtas"] with a grim look. "You all ready to go on? I think I know the way to go." It was perhaps a bit brusque, but Ultimatum was pushing his mind back into the present. Such contemplations could wait until they had accomplished their goal.
