A holocall [Sar'Talani'Vek]

[member="Sar'Talani'Vek"]

Sempra placed himself comfortably at the seat in the main lounge of his space Barge. The holoprojector prepared to recieve a certain call was placed in front of his enormous bent desk.
Having adopted every minute to execute another plan or bussinessdeal Sempra made sure that wherever he went slaves would have prepared every possible mean of communication to avoid missing anything. In fact, Sempra was beginning to see himself leave the scope when he himself would be able to manage it all himself. He would soon need more trusthworthy servants to forward his wishes, he would have to start to look for a major Domo.

But that question would have to wait. Now the matter at hand. He drew a deep breath of smoke as he went over the hutt codex he had been sent from an unknown benefactor. If this is true, he mused. I will gave to act soon. He kept studying the codex while waiting for the holocall to be forwarded.

Talani was sitting in the small living space on her ship, waiting for the hutt to answer the holocall. She had no idea why she was even doing this. As a rule, Talani tried to avoid hutts. She hated anyone who had anything to do with slaves and slavers, but she couldn't afford to be too picky in her line of work. Killing a hutt certainly wouldn't look good for her, though once her cantina was open it wouldn't be hard to explain the occasional slaver death in her bar. She coulldn't be expected to look after and break up ever drunken brawl that occurred after all. Once the call was answered the Chiss smiled. "I heard you were in the market for some friends with ships. I happen to have a ship and I'm very good at getting in and out of places I don't belong with cargo of a... questionable nature." Sempra looked up with a smile.

"Ah, the rumor is then true. The streetsmart Sar'Talani'Vek is on the market." the hutt chuckled in hutteese which was translated by a near by droid right away.

"I Sempra Besadii Dakhun wish for your bussiness to flourish, and by doing so assuring your friendship with the lords of Nar Shadda." the Hutt rattled somewhat to mark that he did not want to be interrupted.

"You are not some fresh of the street and know that there lies dangers ahead for places like the Smugglers Den. I know how frustrating it is to constant have to guard once loved place. Especially since you can not be on two places at the same time." the Hutt stated cunningly.

"However, I believe the two of us can strike a contract that would benefit us both."

"You know how to transfer sensitive goods, and I need a steady supplier from the Kessel sector to Nar Shadda." Sempra drew some smoke from his pipe.
"You see Sar'Talani'Vek, I represent the Hutt Cartell, and we value those who understand good bussiness. And we protect our investments and their property. All we need is to agree to a fair price and the both of us should profit and perhaps even have paved the way for future cooperation as well"

The Hutt fell silent and awaited the Chiss's reply.

"I take it what you mean to say is, 'Help me and I won't arrange to have your cantina burnt to the ground?' Well I suppose this is an offer I can't refuse, though I do hope you can throw in some credits as well as 'protection' for my establishment," Talani replied. She knew this game well, before she had been a smuggler the girl had been a gangster and before even that she had followed her father around the galaxy while he ran a smuggling business of his own. She knew way more about the business than most people did, and she knew that crossing a hutt was not something that turned out favorable to anyone. Now the Chiss simply smirked as she waited for his response. [member="Sempra the Hutt"]

The Hutt "hmmm'd" and shifted his position.

"You are a sharp eyed woman miss Sar'Talani'Vek. And I assure you that you are doing the right thing here. I will pay you for your services of course. the hutt grinned.

"I will have the coordinates for your pick up location transfered shortly. I trust you are capable of navigating the Kessel run. Once back on Nar Shadda I will arrange for a transfer of your goods to my distributor on Nar Shadda. You will recive a monthly sum for your services as well as my protection."

"Expect the necessity of this run a couple of times per standard year miss Sar'Talani'Vek. Just make sure my cargo keeps flowing into Nar Shadda without interference from outsiders and we will both be happy with the arrangement."

Sempra eyed the chiss.

"Agreed?"

"I see no reason to decline. Give me the co-ordinates and I'll have your shipment in within a matter of days. I have yet to lose a shipment or miss a pick up or drop off. Your faith in me is well placed, and your credits will be put to good use. Oh and please, call me Talani," she replied, smirking as she took the offer. The money he provided could go towards the renovations she would need to get the cantina up and running, as well as open for business until she began making a steady enough income from it on her own. The added insurance would be nice to. It wouldn't do to have anything bad happen to her establishment. [member="Sempra the Hutt"]

"Very good." Sempra nodded.

"the coordinates will be transfered as we speak. This then concludes our bussiness since we have an understanding."

"If you need to talk to me you know how to reach me. May the godsheart be in your favour."

And with that Sempra terminated the call.

Talani got the co-ordinates and smirked as she walked to the bridge of the ship. She punched in the co-ordinates and took off. It felt good to have something to do once again. It had been a few weeks since her last job as she had been busy with her work on the cantina. The smuggler laughed out loud as she set off for the Kessel sector. She had no idea exactly what she was picking up, and she didn't care. That was a problem for when she got to the location, and even then it didn't really matter. She was paid to move things, not to care about them. [member="Sempra the Hutt"]
