A Guiding Hand (Grace Darkson)

Audrey Thénardier

Crime is a Family Business
Nal Hutta, the homeworld of the Hutts; or at least the current one. There was a lot of history to this place, as well as a lot of misery. With the Hutts having full control over a planet that they had claimed centruies ago from another race known as the Evocii it had become a den of crime and corruption for them to control at thier figertips before spreading their influence all across the galaxy, their crime following in suit. With a planet that had such a reputation as this, it was a sure fire bet that at every moment a shady deal was being conducted.

In one of the Cantians of the lesser towns on Nal Hutta a repurposed rebpulic shuttle had been parked outside. The crew that had arrived were expected by the cantian's owner, a rodian whom they paid upon entering to have a private room in the back all to theirselves. The group itself consisted of armed human guards, all wearing more fitting attire for the enviroment to look like a gang of hired thugs. There were six of them altogether, the seventh member of the group being someone who was covered in long flowing shoruded robes. The only visual way they could see being a small cut at the top for thier eyes to peek out.

Obviously a group like this caught the attetion of many, but none dared question or raise a word or finger as the group had made thier way into the private back room. Even the rodian owner hadn't said or done anything, indicating to anyone who looked to him not to ask about it.

Two men stood guard at the entrance to the room while the rest had slipped in and waited for the arrival of the guest they were expecting. Even the mysterious member had taken a seat at the table provided but only sat and waited for their partner in the meeting.

A rather large group entered the cantina. Grace watched them with seething eyes as they drew the attention of the crowd. For a group of criminals in another gang's territory, they sure were being conspicuous. And it would take a bit for the others to stop their chatting and return to their normal routine. And she planned on waiting this out. After all, this young Sith was nothing if not patient.

It took a full half hour before things calmed down enough for her to make her move. Finishing her drink and approaching the bar, she gave a small smile. "One for the road, please."

>"Going Somewhere?"< he asked. She replied with a wink and he went to serve it up. Smiling as he served it up, she took it and headed to the back room where [member="Audrey Thénardier"] waited.

Upon seeing [member="Grace Darkson"] arrive the guards, knowing who she was based on look alone, indicated for her to step inside. Apparently they were a little lax on security or had been given orders not to search her for weapons. Either way it seemed as though their employer didn't want to bother Darkson when she arrived. Once she did the people in the room all looked to her, the mysterious one in robes indicating for her to sit down before pulling off everything covering herself from view. Sure enough Lady Audrey Thénardier had been there, wearing her usual suit attire while allowing her long blonde hair to flow down freely around her shoulders and back.

With a smirk and a dense stare she said "Glad to see you've arrived, Ms. Darkson. I was beginging to worry I'd come all this way for nothing. I trust your trip over wasn't too complicated."

Grace smiled a bit as the guards let her pass. Perhaps they weren't suspecting a threat. Perhaps they believed she couldn't do anything to threaten them. Perhaps they were right. But the security was still lazy. She tilted her head to the side as [member="Audrey Thénardier"] lowered the cowl. Something felt wrong. She wasn't sure what, though.

"It wouldn't have been so long if the bar was emptier." She commented. "Had to let the rabble go back to their drinks." A small smile crossed her face. She suspected it may be wise not to anger the crime lady, but it was something that had really annoyed her. Still, she would make do. Taking a rather large drink, she smiled.

"Ah, that's the stuff." Pausing for a moment, she looked back to the woman. "So, what did you want from me?"
