DUN SHOOT ME! ;~; I don't know how to insert videos like you all are doing, though I think I have an idea.

Come With Me Now - Kongos

Nei stood near the edge of the fighting ring, calmly drumming her fingers in the spot where her pistols usually hung. Her hearts were beating like normal, as if she was doing an everyday thing, like taking a walk in the park.

For Nei, though, fighting was an everyday thing. One gets used to it, after a while. Besides, it was a great way to relieve stress and work out.

A day or so ago, the Nautolan woman, after once again encountering Joran, decided it would be a good idea to challenge him in a good old-fashioned brawl: no weapons, just bare fists, though body armour was allowed. No helmets, though. She didn't want to have to replace the visor on hers. Again.

The rules were simple: whoever lost had to take the winner out for drinks, and foot the bill. Nei smirked. Yeah, Joran was taller and bigger than her, but she had confidence in herself. The Nautolan was tougher than she looked, a fact many, many people had overlooked.

Tresses curling slightly in anticipation, she paced slightly and waited for her adversary to step forward.

“Last chance to back out, Love.”

Joran called to his would be opponent across the ring. She was a feisty girl and Joran respected that. Enough to show up here anyway. He had asked her for a drink, she asked for a fight, so here they were.

Body armor was allowed and she was dressed up in hers. Joran on the other hand was bare chested, opting to wear only his cargo pants and combat boots. He was weaponless, unless one counted his taped and gloved hands. This wasn’t is first fight, in fact Joran had spent a few years training, smart mouthed, punk gladiators the art of hand to hand combat, so the Nautolan in front of him did not cause him to worry.

“No one, would think any less of you.”

He stepped to the middle of the fight ring, as spectators associated with The Red Ravens looked on. Joran neither knew or cared to know much about the group.

Nei's tresses roiled in momentary irritation. "My name isn't 'Love', stupid human," she growled. The woman hesitated, however, when Joran stepped forward with no visible armour. In fact, he didn't even have a shirt on. What is this stupid human thinking?

She was starting to feel sorry for the guy when he passed the second comment. Sliding her visor down, Nei walked into the centre as well, stopping just out of Joran's reach. "And no one think less of you if you back out, before you be handed your backside by a female."

Assuming a ready stance, Nei waited for Joran to make the first move.

“It wouldn’t be the first time.”

Nei was smart she had come up to him but stayed just outside of his reach. Well the reach of his arms any way. Joran threw a hard right push kick foreword to the Nautolan’s stomach. Armor or not, if the kick landed clean it would hurt like hell. it was a set up technique, used much like a jab and like a jab he followed the kick up with a hard right hook, hoping to catch her unaware.

Thanks to the position she was in, Nei managed to deflect the kick away, resulting in no damage on her part. What she had not been expecting was the right hook, and it ended up catching her on the back of her left shoulder.

The momentum transferred from the blow pushed Nei forward, and at the last moment she caught herself and did a forward tumble. Her shoulder throbbing slightly, the Nautolan leapt back to her feet and, running forward, attempted to drop kick the human. If she was successful, both of her booted feet would hit him square in the chest with enough force to leave two sole-shaped bruises in the morning.

She was able to avoid the full brunt of Joran’s attack by dodging and rolling. She was surprisingly quick and agile even in her armor. She covered ground quickly sprinting at Joran, though her attack was rudimentary and less than thought out. One of the first rules Joran taught his trainees was to never leave their feet. He had been neither off balance or disoriented, her attack was destined to fail. She sailed through the air and Joran simply side stepped her attack

"Motherkriffing foh!" Nei let out a squawk as Joran sidestepped her kick entirely. Landing on her right side, she once again rolled away before leaping to her feet. Keeping her distance, the Nautolan eyed the human for a moment before running at him once more.

This time, however, she ran low, arms outstretched. Nei planned to head-butt his groin and knock him to the ground. If she was able to pin him down, the Nautolan could then get in a few punches and win.

This girl just did not learn. She ran at him again, this time with her head down toward the ground. Another basic rule: “always make them pay.”

Joran threw a heavy knee at Nei’s face as she came rushing toward to the lower half of him. He felt bad, for a moment and a moment only. If the knee landed it could do real damage, any where from knocking her out to leaving her with a nasty cut to just hurting like hell.

Of course there was always the chance she was smart enough to avoid the blow and instead grab his leg and take him to the ground while he was off balance but with her momentum and determinedness it seemed to him, that would be unlikely.

As Nei rushed forward, she caught the movement of Joran's leg out of the corner of her eye.

It was too late to stop moving forward, but maybe that wasn't so bad. The Nautolan twisted, and while the knee made contact, it wasn't as severe as it could have been: the knee hit right underneath her jaw, causing her to bite the inside of her cheek. Her jaw now throbbed, too, but it was better than a bloody nose or broken jaw.

As Nei fell back, her arms swinging out to catch the fall, she kicked out again, this time aiming at the leg that wasn't used for the knee kick. If that failed, well, it would only require a simple adjustment for Attempt No. 2 at the gut.

She kicked his leg out from underneath him and Joran hit the dirt with an oomph. She kicked out again, aiming for what would have been his stomach but with his current placement the kick caught him flush in the mouth.

Joran got to his feet, rubbing his mouth. “That, was a good one, girl.” he motioned for her to get up to her feet. This fight was not over quite yet.

Nei smirked when her move delivered a double-whammy. "I only give the best," she retorted, rolling back onto her feet. At least the moron stopped calling me 'Love', she thought.

This time, though, she was going to let him make his move. Once again skipping just out of reach, Nei once again assumed a ready stance, awaiting the next thing Joran would throw at her.

Joran knew she was fast, so was he, but his biggest asset was his strength. So the plan was simple, move in close and get a hold of her, if he could do that, the fight would be all but over.
Joran pushed foreword. A front kick aimed at nothing, a diversionary tactic used only for him to close the distance and get her backing up, Two quick left jabs and a hard right uppercut behind them. His bas was good and his technique was superb, there was room for her to counter of course, but he hadn’t left himself overly exposed.

Nei leapt back to avoid the kick, mentally shaking her head. Really? Using a kick to start again? Of course that was as far as she got as she diverted the left jabs. The right uppercut got the side of her temple as the Nautolan attempted to dodge.

Falling to the left, Nei quickly shooed the stars away and rolled so that she was almost behind Joran. She gathered herself to leap onto him and maybe get close enough where she was the only one able to deal any real damage. Quick as a hiccup, she made her move and hoped that she could pull it off.

Nei was on top of Joran now. Hanging off his left side, half on his back and half not. Joran couldn’t believe it, she had given him exactly what he was working for. She had an arm hooked over his left shoulder and the other around the right side of his neck. Joran didn’t fight her off, instead he grabbed her left wrist with both his hands.

After he had secured her wrist, he pulled foreword hard as he dipped his shoulders and exploded from his hips. He was going to slam her through the floor and end this.

Nei let out another squawk as she found herself being pulled forward. Her body hit the floor with a sickening thunk. A stunned look found its place onto the Nautolan's face, eyes wide and vision blurry.

She laid there, spread-eagle on her back, and did a rapid-fire analysis of the damage -- a skill she had perfected throughout the course of her life. Tresses sore, but undamaged. Armour took the brunt of the hit, meaning no vertebrae are damaged, but I'm going to be very sore in the morning. Head hurts, vision blurry. Possible concussion, but it's nothing I haven't dealt with before. All in all, nothing critical, though it was clear Joran's move wasn't completely defective.

That didn't mean, however, that she was finished. Heck, she went up against a full-fledged Force User and survived.

With a groan, she moved off of her back and scrambled away a tad unsteadily. Once again assuming a ready position, she growled, "That all you got, human?"

“I’ve, got all you can handle , Love.”

Joran had to admire her heart. There wasn’t an ounce of quit in this girl. That wasn’t always the smartest thing, but it was admirable.

Joran put his hands up in a classic boxing stance and moved foreword. He opened up double left jab once again just to see how she reacted.

Again with the 'Love'! What is it with this human?! "Bring it," she snarled.

As he moved forward, Nei tensed, eliciting a protest from her back muscles which she ignored.

The Nautolan managed to dodge the first jab and deflect the second, before it was her turn.

Getting in close, Nei brought her knee up with all her strength, aiming at Joran's gut. The power was decreased by the pain in her back and head, which were proving to be a tad distracting, but the blow would still have enough to not render it useless.

Even if that move would be deflected, she was preparing for a few punches to be delivered right after that were aimed at his rib area. If she was lucky, one or both moves would be successful and Nei would be able to start to really fight back.

Her knee dug deep into Joran’s flesh, but he just bit down and bared the pain, even though it hurt like a queen. ‘Pain was the price we pay.’ lessons taught were lessons learned.

The knee was followed by body punches. Not a bad strategy. One landed hard to his, ribs and then another, he times the third and clamped down pinning her arm against his side, with his free hand he through a heavy straight punch right at her face.

Nei's elation at actually landing good blows evaporated the instant Joran clamped her arm against him. Struggling, she saw his free arm go back, her eyes narrowing when she determined the fist's trajectory.

As soon as the punch was thrown, the Nautolan moved her upper body forward, bumping her head against his chest. This way, her head wouldn't be hit by the obviously powerful blow.

Her shoulder, however wasn't so lucky. Joran's fist hit it at the perfect angle to dislocate it, and it did. The top of her humerus popped out of the socket, leaving her right arm dangling at an unnatural angle.

Nei bared her teeth, a howl of pain escaping. The Nautolan's eyes were screwed shut as her shoulder's nerve receptors exploded. It was taking all of her willpower to not collapse.

She soon managed to get herself under control and began to struggle as viciously as possible in her current state, kicking at Joran's ankles and hitting his chest with her forehead (which wasn't the smartest move -- it only served to make her more dizzy, but Nei was determined to escape his grip and keep fighting to the end) in an attempt to free herself.

Throughout this whole time, the Nautolan was also hissing insults and curses at her adversary in Ryl.

She struggled violently to escape his grip, but Joran would not relent. In her struggle she was unable to maintain strong balance and Joran took advantage.

He sank his hips just below hers and swiveled away from the arm he had pinned and fired his hips up like a piston, trying to send her flying through the air before slamming her hard to the ground once again, but this time he would ride the momentum landing over her with one leg across her chest and another across her face with her arm in between. He would use his hips to lift up on the arm while pulling down with his arms, putting enough pressure on her elbow to snap it, if she could not escape or did not concede.
