A droid needs to learn its place

Viceroy Herr Vanderhing, dubbed Trade Father by the Neimoidian people or sometimes simply The Father. He was "Prime Minister" of Pure Neimoidia, and Purse Worlds Neimoidias..... But everyone knew what "Prime Minister" meant, he was a dictator though loved by the Neimoidian people he was still a tyrant towards those who lacked money in the planets. He was on his favorite of the Purse Worlds this day, Cato Neimoidia. The bridge city planet, filled with more casinos then most of the other planets in the galaxy. He was preparing for a parade in his honor, in one of his own personal casinos lighting a cigar in his mouth as his adviser Genf Orkay cleaned off any lint on his robes with a brush. Before suddenly Magna Guards and a Tactical Droid bursted in carrying a young human women

"Who the hell is that?!" The Viceroy demanded, his speech slightly slurred and hard to hear from the cigar

"It is a resistance leader Trade Father..... One of the highest of higher ups..." The tactical droid announced

"No I'm not!! Please you must believe me!!!" She begged on her hands and knees

Vanderhing leaned forward on one knee, squinted his eyes, took out his cigar, and breathed a steady stream of smoke into the girl's face

"I believe her..... You've abducted an innocent women general..." Vanderhing announced as he studied the prisoner. Without provocation he put the tip of his cigar on the girl's arm and twisted it making the prisoner shriek in pain

"Alright go ahead and kill her anyway" He calmly demanded putting the cigar back into his mouth and urging the droids out of the room

"Blasted minority doesn't care about what the Neimoidian majority needs.... They'll be stamped out soon hopefully"

((Sorry for the wait, writing a post for Kaeshana and catching up on everything just drained my soul that-that story is like fondling a Dementor))

HK was a tyrant and dictator in his own right, once the Iron Lord Protector of Omega Protectorate, ruling a vast faction that spun most Outer Rim, a lot of what is now GA territory and then some, still ruling his own planet of Abregado-Rae in the Core Worlds with an iron fist that stands no competitors to the throne. Yet the people under his rule were happy and saw him as a just and kind being, the assassin droid long ago calculated that he would live longer and in greater prosperity by making friends rather than killing indiscriminately and cruelly. And live longer he did, sure sometimes he had to take the road that seemed illogical in the short term, putting himself in harm to save a random passerby, grabbing falling columns to prevent children from being smashed, saving enemy troops by bringing them evac, releasing hostile prisoners because they were simply following orders.

But what seemed to be inefficient warfare to most droids HK saw a much greater value in. The value of good reputation and respect, and now he commanded a vast army of free droids and organics alike, entrusted by GA with some of their assets, able to keep numerous standing armies, with a host of allies and friends to back him in his ventures. Somehow the machine tyrant ended up valuing common organic life of his subordinates more than this Trade Father did.

So when the news reached HK about the resistance against Vanderhing and his regime seeking more support, bounced through a few Rebel cells the droid kept a track on, he answered. Personally. Along his long life time the droid made not only friends but enemies as well, or more to say targets, organics usually did not live long enough to remember that the machine was an ancient ancestral enemy of their bloodlines or factions, he remembered however. He remembered Cato Neimodia's part in the Clone Wars, the droid slave armies of Techno Union and Confederacy that wrecked havoc across the Galaxy, his own kind being force to become symbols of oppression, destruction, and stupidity.

He hated them for it, they always fielded so many of his kinds, in their weakest form, throwing them at the enemy in wave after wave when HK could have done so much more with just a handful of the CIS droids. He intercepted CIS shipments to "free" their droids whenever he could, that usually entailed either removing their obedience protocols and letting them run loose, or simply switching out their programming for a copy of his own and having them join his ranks. Moreover, the droid heard of this new incarnation of old bumbling demons, he was there at Geonosis when they attempted to gas civilians to get to one Sith, imprisoning whole stadium beneath a force field, he was there when they battled the Hutts and HK tempted Aut-X into deserting and joining his own free droid army. He followed the events at Christophosis, and he was eager to enact his own vengeance and justice upon them.

Sure, they changed names, tried to re-brand numerous times, but HK never forgot, he saw Vanderhing's face on Geonosis and he never forgot. So when the chance presented itself.

He came.

On the walkway in front of Vanderhing's palace, casino, castle, wherever it was he made his headquarters at the time, a robed and cloaked tall figure stepped in, about 6'4", almost 2 meters but below it, nothing too imposing to make him blend in with the crowd, but at the same time nothing too short either.

The figure glanced from one side to the other, looking over what kind of guards if any there were in front of the building, or if it was a place one could enter freely, although unlikely as there were preparations for a parade in the area.

Vanderhing was excited, he loved the parades and rallies. All the love, all the respect, all the support. It all indulged his lust for power and his desires from when he was a young boy. Yet he was a paranoid individual so the parade route had the best security, from Droideka sentries, to Magna Guards, to simple battle droids, even a few Spider Droids. Yet his casino was less guarded, mostly B1s and a handful of Droidekas, a handful of Neimoidian guards, not to mention two Magna Guards and two B1's that were stationed inside his office. Vanderhing wasn't expecting a sniper to get him in his own casino so less guards were posted inside the large building. The office was large, and colorful. Filled with Neimoidian knick knacks and books. There was a large stained glass window in the center of the room that lead to the outside as well as a bust of the Viceroy and a painting of him staring stoically at him. This was how most of his offices and mansions were set up. He looked into a mirror of himself staring back at him. Next to him was his desk which his cane leaned elegantly against.

"Hurry up Genf!!!" Vanderhing finally anounced "My people are waiting for me!! I'm quite giddy and impatient right now!!!" He continued on

One of his battledroids standing in the background had decided to throw its two cents on Vanderhing's statement and decided to (rather stupidly) speak up

"It's amazing how you still like these big public events after everything on Geonosis!!!" The droid said

Vanderhing clenched his fist and teeth, stiffened up, and widened his eyes at the droid's statement. Genf dropped his jaw and widened his eyes in shock before turning his eyes to the droid then to Vanderhing then to the droid again

"Oh dear....." Orkay finally said simply, before scurrying backwards away from Vanderhing

Vanderhing quickly clasped his cane, tightening his grip, turned around and limped towards the droid holding his cane to his side. The droid instinctively began to walk backwards. Vanderhing limped faster then made a swipe with his cane towards the droid, the droid made a quick duck and walked faster bacwards.

"DO YOU ENJOY REMINDING ME OF MY FAILURES?!?!?!" Vanderhing snarled at the B1 making another swipe at the droid and smacking it in the face. The droid fell to the floor and Vanderhing began to pound the droid violently with his cane battering it with every hit. The other droid which hadn't spoke up turned its head so as not to say Vanderhing brutalize it's comrade

"STUPID!!!! STUPID!!!! STUPID BATTLE DROIDS!!!!"

(OOC: yah it's fine, but uh.... Lol you've remind me of my past embarrassing failures with that damned faction twas my 2nd er 3rd thread ever so cut me a lil slack lol)

((Was just explaining HK's motivation for going after Vanderhing specifically and taking his time to break his stuff in person!))

HK looked over the two B1 guards stationed outside the doorway he was scanning, a pitiful display to the droid, they did not even bother updating their combat units to contemporary models. Memories of the very similar B1s from the time of the Clone Wars came to the droid, the way they could have been deactivated just by pushing them too hard, for example through the means of telekinesis, and then the much recent encounters with the other Clone Wars era droids when a Count of Serenno challenged the droid to a duel of honor, choosing the staff-wielding droids as his champions. HK faced them with nothing but a cane and his bare fists, the fight was over in less than a minute.

Either way, HK stepped closer to the two B1 guards outside, since it was casino it would be safe to assume that even before the parade people would be allowed to enter at least the main lobby and go play some games. Of course the robed and cloaked figure looked far from usual patron.

The droids looked to him curiously, he raised his hands to them peacefully,

"Come closer, I need your help. Do not be afraid, I am unarmed, do you see?"

He pulled back on his hood to reveal the silvery-grey faceplate fashioned out of Phrik that looked very much like polished bone, the red photoreceptors looked at the B1 droids,

"Have no fear, we are all droids here."

HK quipped and the B1s nodded,

"Roger-roger."

They confirmed in their nasally voice that all he said was true so far and stepped closer to see what the peculiar unit wanted.

Quickly HK extended out two of his fingers, moving them simultaneously to the back of B1's heads.

"Hey, wha-"

One of them spoke out, raising its blaster rifle but to no avail as a blue spark connected between their domes and HK's fingers, a charge from his Electro-Cestus gauntlets, causing a short circuit in the droids systems. Their fragile bodies went limp and slumped down to collapse, only to be caught by HK and pulled close to his chest, hugging and cradling the guards as if they were children.

Two slicing spikes extended out from below his wrist, pushing into the B1's input ports, connecting the three systems together as he altered and reprogrammed their minds, placing into them a copy of his own design. He reactivated them and after a few seconds there was life in those smaller metal bodies once more.

"Are you ready?"

HK asked the B1's,

"We will follow."

The other droids answered, he pulled his arms back and the slicing spikes returned to their rightful, hidden place,

"Good."

He said as he moved past them to enter the casino, the B1 guards followed in behind him.

While all this happened the droid was careless whether any passerbys saw him, somebody probably did since the parade and all, although he would not do it in front of a group of droidekas or magnaguards, organics probably thought it was droids being weird, besides after executing a random person just for being in the wrong place at a wrong time it seems unlikely Vanderhing would listen to some random common streetwalker when they would phone his casino up to tell them they saw his droids being weird at the front gates.

Either way, once HK entered with his two B1 guards, he scanned over the main lobby to see what more mechanical units there were inside,

"Where is the security center?"

He asked the newly acquired companions, perhaps they would be able to access their databanks and direct him properly, otherwise he might have just start to cut his way through the place, if he wouldn't have to do it already, which might be the case if someone raised an alarm after his reprogramming stunt.

In the large casino the building was bustling with tourists and gamblers, all throwing their lives away and having it collected by Vanderhing and put into vaults. Millions of livelihoods ruined in this one casino, not to mention all the other Casinos on the strip or even on the planet. It was a depressing sight, a nice wholesome family would come to the planet on vacation, go to the casino, then Vanderhing's thugs would cheat and cause them to gamble their lives away and give them life crushing debt. Once they owed their life savings they were forced into practically slave labor in the factories on Pure Neimoidia until they payed off the debt. It was quite the lucrative venture for the Neimoidian corporations and it only racked up the Viceroy's sin count. It was a constant cycle that made the greedy Neimoidian people content and was for the most part hidden from the entire galaxy. The thousands of casino goers, either pompous noblemen or simple family men who just were lucky to afford a trip to the planet took little mind of the two traitorous rogue droids and their boss only on occasion making remarks such as "Stupid droids!!" Or "Eyuck I hate those stupid tinheads!!" But the security cameras on the other hand became very intrigued, pushing their lenses out for a closer look. The security center in the building had two battledroids and a Neimoidian in charge. The droids attempted to make a closer look until finally bringing the three strange droids to the attention of their superior

"Uh sir......" One droid began

"What is it?!?!" The pompous Neimoidian ordered wiping powder from his nose

"There's a strange droid going through the casino.... And uh... What's this?.... OOM-1 and OOM-2 have left their post and are following him!!" The droid continued on

The Neimoidian simply waved them off and began to snort christals into his nose "It probably nothing.... Ignore them!!"

"But sir.... This doesn't seem right!!" The droid continued on. The Neimoidian simply smacked the droid in the back of its head in annoyance

"Stupid droid!! You listen to my order!! But fine I tell Trade Fatherb security tighten up!!" The Neimoidian anounced before picking up comms "Keep Trade Father in his office, shady figure is doing something... Droids have left post, it nothing I believe"

The droid guards of coarse are all programmed to know that the security center lies in the back of the casino's first floor

(OOC: lol it's fine, just sayin it was mostly a horrible, horrible, embarrassment I'm trying to repress into the bowels of my mind)

At HK's questions one of the B1 guards following him raised his hand, pointing out the direction,

"Back of the casino, first floor."

HK nodded as he moved along towards the security center. He knew well of the cameras and that he might be watched by his target and their lackeys, but just as he had ways of swaying droid minds towards his cause, so he had ways to do it to organics. Either way, first things first, he had to get access to the center.

"There is a message on the comms."

One of the B1's piped up again, HK looked back to him in a side-glance over his shoulder,

"They know of your presence and our movement from the posts."

HK nodded simply,

"Connect me to the frequency."

He requested, to which the B1 nodded in turn,

"It will be done."

The security center would hear a response on the line, coming off in an OOM B1 droid's voice,

"Roger-roger, security center, this is OOM-1, the droid is a decoration unit assigned with preparing the place for the parade, he said the outfit helps him channel his inner programmed muse. He requested to be escorted to the security center so that he could look at the cameras, he says only seeing the place from all angles at once will let him to properly bring out the glory of the Trade Father through the decoration design. He has proper clearance."

With that they kept walking, taking note of extra droid guards and sentries stationed around the place, the position and movements of security cameras around them, but they would not try anymore re-programming tricks, even as they would come to pass any droid security guard checkpoints in their way, proceeding as if everything was normal unless one of the guards would specifically stop them and HK would have to use another one of his tricks.

As to the people and their comments, he didn't lash out, he didn't look to them. In fact he felt no anger towards them or blamed them, after all, what did they knew of droids true nature and the value of cooperation with them, how could they know the paradise they could build together if the two beings lived as equals? This was no Abregado after all where free droids could gather under HK's protection, where organic natives enjoyed thriving industry and quality of life, where their droid tyrant celebrated the native culture and in many regards adopted it as its own, often walking along the streets and talking to the citizens freely. The only droids Neimodians knew were the bumbling Confederate models, what HK barely considered to be a sentient lifeform, it was as if most of the army was formed out of walking comedic reliefs to go up against the Jedi only to make everyone feel better that they were not actually killing fellow organics.

The only thing HK felt, or calculated he felt, was pity for the waste of time and resources he so far saw around him on the planet.

Vanderhing finished brutalizing the droid and gave a joyful chuckle at the battered and beaten machine. Orkay gave a sigh and shook his head

"Mr. Vanderhing, you really need to stop outbursts like that..... Those droids are expensive and it's an unprofessional sight....."

Vanderhing chuckled and gave a kick to the downed droid's side

"Really Genf?!... Who's going to see me and care?! The druggie we've hired as head of security?!" Vanderhing proudly anounced giving a stare at the camera in his office. He leaned over the droid on the floor, grabbed it's arms and waved it at the camera with a giggle whilst holding his cigar in the other hand

"Eeeha-ha-ha-yaha!! Droids are so stupid!! Isn't that right?... You worthless pile of scrap"

"Roger roger......." The droid reluctantly said in agreeance in a depressed nasally battle droid voice as Vanderhing limped over to his desk

Vanderhing sat reclined in his desk chair, hands behind his head giving a giggle to himself. He picked the cigar out of his mouth and flung it at the droid (still on the floor). The cigar hit the meek droid's head and ricocheted to the floor. He gave another laugh then grabbed a fruit from a basket of them on his desk, took one bite of it, then threw at the droid again giving an even bigger laugh with a large chunk of the fruit still in his mouth. All of this the camera would be able to see at the security office.
_____________________________________

Meanwhile the no guards would've stopped the three droids and the Neimoidian guard captain would simply believe them.

"See?! What I tell you?! He no threat.... Stupid droid" he said to the droids before going back to sniffing the powder on his desk. Upon the droid's eventual arrival, the Neimoidian would simply rub around where the nostrils of a Neimoidian are and urge his hands towards the monitor screen where Vanderhing was waving the droid's hand.

"Here is monitors, it my break now so I leave. You go ahead and do my job for me!!"

When HK walked into the security center and the Neimodian gave him an order, the droid only looked to him. There was a pause, a moment of silence, if HK only wanted, he could literally melt the man's face off right there and then, he calculated,

"Sure."

The machine only responded, moving forward to the droids sitting behind consoles of the center,

"Hello gentlemen."

HK greeted them, his hands moving to rest on their shoulders, one of the B1's looked at him,

"Hi?"

As the Neimodian Guard Captain walked out, and the door closed behind him there was the subtle noise of electrical sparks going off and droid bodies softly hitting the consoles as they went limp.

Few minutes later,

"Still clear."

One of the B1's behind the security consoles informed HK, reprogrammed to come under his influence just like the rest of the security team, the main unit was slicing spike deep in the console's input port, currently busying himself placing another copy of his programming and latching it onto the casino's security systems,

"Good, I am in."

The droid confirmed as he pulled his spike out of the part, and retracted it back into his wrist. An image of two red glowing photoreceptors briefly flashed on the screen before disappearing.

"Cut communication from and to the Trade Father's office, if he sent out a transmission or one is directed to him, I want it to go to me directly."

"It will be done."

"Bring me four magnaguards here, the time for the reckoning in neigh."

The B1 nodded, as it turned to the console, sending out a transmission to the magnaguard units stationed around the casino,

"Magnaguard Units IG-3, 5, Larry, and 21 report to the security center to receive your special parade orders in person."

HK hoped the guard captain would be back soon enough so that he could either bend him to his will or, again, melt his face off. Either one of the two were a win in droid's book.

He also saw Vanderhing's treatment of the droids on the security cam, but he did not went into rampage or frenzy just yet. Sure enough, the droid was furious, but his was a cold-burning fury, lingering slowly as he planned and plotted until finally the trap was set and the hunt begun. Just a few minutes more and he would be busing himself putting his foot up Vanderhing's rectum. While he had now his contact within the security systems and it wasn't detected at least yet, HK had it check whether the droids had their own independent processing and power units or if they were connected to one central unit that remotely managed all of them like back during the Battle of Naboo to save on their costs.

A patient hunter gets the prey.

HK calculated.

The two Magna guards stationed outside Vanderhing's office and the two inside received an order to leave. They did as they were ordered and began to leave as Vanderhing pulled out a new cigar and lit it.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Vanderhing commanded at the two guards in his office
"Who authorized that order?!?! GENF!!! Call the security office!!!"

"Yes sir Mr. Vanderhing...... *This is Genf Orkay calling security, come in, over*"

Meanwhile the two Magna Guards that were stationed at the doorway made their way down to the security room. They passed the Neimoidian officer passed out in the staff lounge with a bottle in a paper bag, then waltzed into the security room. They lowered their staves and gave a salute thinking they'd find a Neimoidian. Such poor security the casino had, yet they were smart enough not to have one central droid brain, but not smart enough to hire competent guards

[member="HK-36"]

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Herr Vanderhing"],

HK wasn't really expecting to find all the droids connected to one brain or control system anyway, there's a reason for why such systems went more or less obsolete after the battle of Naboo when it became clear just how easily they could be taken advantage of.

Either way, one would assume his own copy would be smarter than specifically call for a Magnaguard that was right in that office to come since they would also have access to the database of active Magnaguards in the casino and knew what the next steps of the plan were. Still, mistakes happened and perhaps there were no other Magnaguards in the casino to call upon.

When they came in, HK greeted them with,

"Unit 5,"

He nodded to one of the guards as he stepped closer to them, before looking to the other,

"Unit Larry. I have been placed in charge of your patrol posts during the upcoming parade, they will be as follow-"

Before finishing the sentence, closing in on the distance between them HK took two of his fingers and jammed them within the Magnaguards' necks, pushing in between their rotors and sending out electric shocks as if he was manipulating their pressure points.

The door behind them locked as their bodies begun to seizure and rotors shut down, forcing them down to the ground slowly. One of them deactivated already, falling to the floor with a clank, HK pulled his fingers back, the other Magnaguard pushed itself up, pulling back on its arm as its body shuddered and twitched, it tried to throw a punch at HK only to have the older droid grab its arm by the wrist, forcing it to the side, turning it in such a way the rotors inside locked as he took his fingers again and pushed it back within the Magnaguard's chassis, this time between the chest plates, against its central torso unit. There was another spark of electrical shock as this time the second Magnaguards' systems shut off and it too fall against the floor.

*This is Genf Orkay calling security, come in, over*

HK received the transmission through his built-in communication systems, as he turned over the second Magnaguard to have it rest on its back he responded back with,

"Roger-roger Genf, this is the security center, over."

The voice would be that of a B1 unit, an impersonation by HK's voice modulation systems.

Once again two slicing spikes would extend out from his wrists as he plunged them this time into the Magnaguards' input sockets. The dials of the sockets turned and rotated as the data was input into the Magnaguards and their old programming removed, manipulated to being replaced by HK's mind once more as with the other systems. The practiced maneuver would not take that long as soon enough the spikes were pulled back and retreated into the droid's body.

The Magnaguards' eyes would light up in their familiar red once more and the two units pushed themselves up to stand,

"Are you ready?"

HK asked them as he muted the connection to Genf on his end so that would not be heard, obviously. The Magnaguards nodded,

"We will follow."

"Then it is time. If anyone else comes in here begin playing the loop on the monitors."

HK ordered to the B1's he stationed in the security center as he, the two Magnaguards, and the two B1 droids would exit the security center, next step was to make their way to the elevator that would lead them up to the floor where Vanderhing was.

Vanderhing took a quick glimpse at his clock and quickly grabbed his cane and brushed himself off.

"The parade's going to start soon.... Let's go"

He began to limp out the door urging his droids to follow and went down the hall. He waltzed down the hall trampling over the lush red casino rug. He hurried over to the elevator, cigar in his mouth and called for it. Tapping his leg impatiently in wait, Genf to his right, B1s to his side and Magna Guards behind him. The elevator went up one floor, then another, all the way up to the eleventh floor before reaching Vanderhing with a ding at the twelfth. It took a moment for the doors to eventually open. In that time he admired his beautiful casino decor and gold columns. It was an elegant casino to say the leader.

"Damn doors need to hurry up" he impatiently announced as the doors suddenly opened.......

HK-36

[member="Herr Vanderhing"],

Inside the very same casino the group of five droids, two Magnaguards up front with HK between them, two B1's behind them, waited as they made their final approach towards the Trade Father's office.

In the mean time HK took off his pair of Electro-Cestus gloves that came so useful, handing them over to the Magnaguards, one got the left gauntlet, the other got the right.

"You know what to do with these."

"Stun and neutralize."

They Magnaguards nodded as they slipped the gauntlets over their metal hands, although a bit awkwardly as these were made for HK's six-fingered hands, Magnaguards didn't tend to have more than five, so one finger of the glove just hanged loosely and flapped a bit. HK reached to his back, fishing out from among the equipment he brought a pair of black a bit fleshy looking gloves, the Grav-Gloves he bought off of the VT traders, they quickly became one of his favorite gadgets as they paired well with his showmanship. He flexed his hands, clenching them into a fist and relaxing to make sure the gloves sat well on his hands.

HK then took off his external robes, tossing them aside into the elevator as he revealed what he had beneath- a suit of Phrik armor made for him by the GA, it was stylized with intricate motives, yet left unmarked for the purpose of the mission. Few people knew that the droid followed the ways of Mandalorian Code, that included utilizing and maintaining a suit of armor, although his body was already armored, and fashioned out of Phrik as well. Over his shoulders cascaded his black cloak, wrapping around him like wings of a bat to hide the armored plates and his belt with numerous weapons within its confines.

The rest of the ride five droids would bob their heads to the beat of the muzak playing through elevator speakers, moving in unison since at the moment they were more or less a small hive mind. Either way, soon enough the elevator dinged, marking their arrival on the floor.

The door finally opened and the tall slender droid looked upon Vanderhing and his entourage,

"Leaving so soon, Vanderhing?"

The machine asked as it stepped forward out of the confines, his hands still hidden beneath the black cloak, his guards followed in suite, getting into position for the inevitable confrontation,

"Do you know who I am?"

Vanderhing gave a grimace at the sight that came from the elevator and Orkay raised a brow. The Magna Guards suspiciously raised their staves out and pointed them towards the thin cloaked droid. Vanderhing inhaled smoke from his cigar, took the cigar out of his mouth, then breathed smoke into the droid's face.

"No. I have no idea who you are, nor do I care but clearly...... You know who I am, so then you should know..... That you're standing to close" Vanderhing gave a condescending glare at the cloaked figure before him, then looked at the other droids

"What are you doing with my battle droids?! Worthless piles of tin, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!?! GET BACK TO YOUR POSTS BEFORE I TEAR YOU ALL APART AND CRUSH THE SCRAPS!!!!" He gave an enraged glare at the droids then spoke again "Stupid, worthless, droids!!! Aren't even worth the scrap value!!! NEVER in all my life have I seen such a useless, annoying, WORTHLESS excuse device as you stupid droids!!!"

Vanderhing's advisor, Genf Orkay could feel that the droid wasn't someone Vanderhing should be harassing like this "Uh, sir...... I don't think this is very smart......."

"Shut up Genf, I'm trying to scold the trash.... Not that they can even comprehend what I'm saying..... Stupid, stupid, droids!!"

The battered droid that Vanderhing beat earlier soon decided to add it's two cents, which it will soon regret

"Sir?....... I um... I think this guy means trouble...."

Upon the droid's interruption, Vanderhing gritted his teeth and turned away from the cloaked HK unit. He glared at the battledroid and poked hard at it with the tip of his cane

"DO YOU NEED ANOTHER LESSON SCRAPHEAP?!?! THE PEOPLE WERE TALKING!!!" He snarled at the droid tapping at its chest several times during the anouncement before bringing his cane up. The droid flinched. Then Vanderhing made a hard swipe for the face

[member="HK-36"]

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Herr Vanderhing"],

HK stood there and watched Vanderhing in silence as the Neimodian did his thing, the anger just slowly burned inside the droid until finally the trade father turned to strike one of his body guards once more,

"Enough."

The droid spoke up quickly and Vanderhing would be able to feel a weird ethereal force grip his wrist to stay his hand. It would be this crushing pressure that tried to bent it backwards over his head and behind his back, twisting it to force him to drop the cane he was going to try and use to batter another droid.

"I am Hache-Khe the Flameborne of the Forgotten House, the Reforged, the First of Machines, Breaker of Chains,"

But HK did not touch him, he did not move from his spot.

Behind Vanderhing the skeletal droid stood there with his right hand hand raised vertically, the six fingers closed in a twisting grip as if he was staying the Trade Father's hand personally, in fact he was using the black Grav Gloves he wore, the gadgets creating a remote gravity anomaly to interact with objects over range. For all effects and purposes it would seem as if the machine was somehow able to use telekinesis but there would be no resonance within the Force from his actions, for it was not power borne of the Force but science and technology. However, unlike Force-borne telekinesis this power lasted only briefly and in bursts but utilized the droid's own formidable physical strength.

So rather simply holding Vanderhing's hand there he head to twist and pull on his wrist to force the cane out, otherwise the grip would start to loosen over few seconds as the glove lost its charge and the illusion of otherwordly magick would disappear.

"Iron Lord Protector, Lord of Abregado,"

As HK spoke he lifted his left hand and formed another grip with it, twisting towards himself. Vanderhing's Magnaguard on the droid's left would suddenly have his electrostaff pulled forward by unseen force, yanked closer along with it as HK's own Magnaguard pushed it down to the ground with his weapon, blocking it there as the guard grabbed Vanderhing's IG with his borrowed Electro-Cestus, the gauntlet sparked to light and the other droid begun to spazz and jerk, its systems failing as it was pulled by the droid and used as a shield against the enemy B1's, should they open fire.

"The Foremost Beskar'ad of Manda'lore the Ultimate,"

HK continued when the Magnaguard on his right thrust forward with a stab of his electrostaff. HK did not block it as both of his hands were in action, the diode hit him on the abdomen, unleashing a web of electrical arcs that encased it, it made his body jolt slightly and bent forward from the impact, however he remained active as his armor took the front of the strike, whatever connected to his own body was faced with insulation and ion dampening systems.

"the Witch-King of the Khazund, Protector of the Jedi Knowledge,"

His Magnaguard on the right spoke, continuing for HK as he used his electrostaff to slam down the weapon that struck his master, in a very similar maneuver to the guard on the left he blocked the other droid's weapon before seizing it with an Electro-Cestus and pulling the enemy magnaguard closer as it was deactivated, using its chassis as a shield.

"the Exarch of the Core,"

It was the B1's from behind HK that spoke up then in unison, their blasters ready they aimed them at Genf and the Vanderhing's B1 bodyguards, motioning for them to drop weapons and stand down.

"Breaker of Chains,"

HK finally finished as he composed himself from being stabbed by the Electrostaff, a crisped circle remaining on the otherwise pristine silver armored plate of his outer Phrik armor. He stepped closer towards Vanderhing.

"and the Father of Droids."

When Vanderhing made his swipe his arm stopped in the air. He struggled, and struggled, and struggled but he couldn't move it, yet it was still moving, it twisted behind his back. The Viceroy, dropped his cane to the floor and remained still. He watched helplessly as his two Magna Guards dropped like flies, there was nothing much that the Viceroy could do at that moment. So he only listened as the droids spoke, his arm in pain from the violent twist. The Viceroy wasn't able to stand upright without his cane, so he struggled to stay up. The Viceroy was intimidated, and fearful of his death. He wasn't entirely sure what the droid was going to do, he wasn't sure how the droid was doing this

"I-I-I don't understand!! Droids can't be Jedi!! H-How?!?! How are you doing this?!?!" He begged. There was an obvious change his tone of voice, before it was condescending and was attempting to be intimidating. Now it showed obvious fear and confusion.

The Viceroy was debating several possible ways of escaping, but nearly all of which seemed futile..... The Droid had a hold on the Viceroy, and it's cronies killed the Viceroy's..... Despite the Viceroy's obvious fear, he was scheming a possible way of escape. His heart was pounding, he feared that he had a mere seconds left in his life. His droids, were motioned to lower their weapons... But they didn't really understand such a subtle reminder, so instead they held their weapons to their side, extremely startled and unsure on what to do, they bickered with each other in the background. The HK droid leader eventually finished its speech, and Vanderhing was frightened

"W-What do you want?!?! If you're a hired assassin I-I-I could triple whatever you're being paid!!! I-I-I could give you just about anything you want!! Money, power, women!!!!.......................... Men? I could give you nearly anything! You don't have to do this........"

"That is what you do not understand."

HK spoke as he motioned out to the Neimodian's dropped cane, with a flick of his hand the glorified stick flew from the floor into HK's grasp with another application of the Grav-Gloves' telekinetic pull,

"A droid can be anything it wants."

The droid would flick his wrist, cutting the air with the cane as he tried to deliver and under-handed swinging slash of it aimed right for Vanderhing's gut to strike him right in the intestines,

"Your people are unhappy, Viceroy, the poor and struggling remain restless and abused by your office, yet as you see they are not without friends. They told me the tales of your mistreatment towards my children, I remember you from Third Confederacy's gassing of their own civilians on Geonosis, so of course I agreed to come in person and analyze the situation myself."

HK would raise the cane over his head quickly to try and bring it down upon the Viceroy and batter him to the ground much like he battered one of his own B1 units before,

"I did not like what I saw."

The droid did not really care about B1's and their blasters trained on him, after all he was Phrik covered in Phrik, there was little a blaster bolt could do about that.

"My initial plan was to cut your throat and hang your from your office's window, and I am still not entirely opposed to that plan, however I am a merciful being, so I propose we struck a deal instead. I recommend you accept it no matter the terms."

The machine then turned his gaze towards Genf,

"You."

He pointed with the cane towards him,

"What is your rank in this government?"

The Viceroy gave a scornful look at the droid. His people loved him!! How could a worthless droid know about what the masses think!! They cheer for him, they praise him, raise his self esteem..... Everyone on the his planets loved him!! Didn't they? All these thoughts, scrambled through his head. It wasn't even his high possibility of death he worried of anymore, now the droid had rattled him..... If the people didn't love him.... Then what legacy would he have left behind?! What point was all his scheming, and bribing, and intimidation?! He was loved... He had to be! He must be! 'The people love me..... The people love me.... They-they must!!! I'LL KILL THEM ALL IF THEY DON'T!!!!!' he didn't say this out loud.... But it was buzzing around his skull, like an annoying fly in a hot summer day. Very soon the subject was changed to Geonosis.... Just before he could speak he was battered with his own cane. He let out a grunt and fell down, before stumbling to get up once more

"THAT CONFEDERACY WAS A SHAM!!! I WASN'T THE ONE DOING THE GASSING!!! I WAS THE ONE GETTING GASSED!!!...... But you're right... I was there, and I executed a few Sith, but I never gassed my Geonosians!! That was the Confederate leader, I..... Happened to be at the bottom of the totem pole...."

The Viceroy struggled to remain standing. He had enough of this, so he came up with an idea. He made a croaking noise to Orkay, and Orkay made one back. Soon after the droid turned his attention to Genf. The two stopped croaking with Genf giving a nod.

"Me?!" The advisor asked "I'm I'm not actually in the Inner Circle.... I-I'm Settlement Officer for th-the Trade Federation and a Lieutenant for Mr. Vanderhing...." The advisor grabbed a small notepad and scribbled something down then handed it to one of the B1s. The droid looked at it, then back at Genf. It clenched the paper, gave two nods and a "Roger-Roger" before running down the hall.

"Though I suppose, I'm his Chief Advisor, and I attend Inner Circle meetings... W-Why do you ask?" Orkay continued on

"And what is this deal?....." Vanderhing added

Soon enough people were arriving up the elevator to the top floor to reach their own room, which shouldn't be a surprise since it's a casino. The people gave a look at the droid and shrieked out loud in fear.

((Sorry for the pause, school was kicking my ass in the first week))

The droid with a note would probably not make it too far down the hallway, as soon as it was given a note HK unholstered his magnetic revolver and aimed it at B1's back in a quick, trained movement, firing off a couple of rounds, because he would literally never just let someone write an obvious order note to someone right in front of him and simply allow them to run away for it to be deliver, he is neither that simple nor slow,

[Neimodian] "Ghhr-ghhrakgh, ghhrhrk, ghaar?!" (Do you think me as foolish as your lackeys?!)

The machine croaked back to Genf and Vanderhing in their own language, still holding the revolver,

"I know you were not their leader, which is why you are still alive, but you did provide funding for them as well as more droids, so you would not get pity from me."

Looking to Genf the machine explained,

"I asked because should this one die,"

The droid motioned with the revolver to Vanderhing,

"Or refuse my proposition, which is really the same thing in the end, you would not make the same mistakes as he and give me a reason to return here should I stage for you to replace him, would you?"

There was a ding behind the droid, elevator arriving, although its doors did not open, the whole point of taking control of security systems by replacing the system with his own mind was to have control over things like when the elevator arrived so that they would not be disturbed. A groan of Casino guests would be heard from inside as the elevator was forcibly sent back down, they would be pissed, sure, but the machine did not care whether the place would get bad ratings or reviews after his visit. Plus hey, maybe they would go to the parade instead of hanging around that place, you're welcome.

Either way, the system would put the elevators heading to their floor as out of order and the mechanized door to the stairs leading there would be locked down.

Going back to task at hand,

"My deal is this, your security is laughable, I literally just walked in here- your security commander gave over the control of the security center directly to me without asking any questions because I was willing to simple let him go on some sort of spice break. You will hand over the control of all your combat droids to me, every single one, and they will leave with me. You can keep the ships, I care not for such things. Consider it an incentive to modernize and upgrade your security forces, in exchange I will not kill you, I will help you design better drone units, and I will not return to Cato Neimodia for as long as you live."

The machine calculated,

"Refuse and you will not only lose your life, I will distribute all your wealth to the poor and struggling in a nice act of charity."
