A Different Path

Ignitus sat along the edge of the foot of his cot within his personal quarters on his Fury class personal transport star ship. His hands gripped a holocommunicator that was awaiting his authorization to send a prerecorded holomessage,.
His smoldering sulfiric orange eyes stared at the holocom, examining every detail of the devices structure as the choice he needed to make weighed heavy upon his mind.
Ignitus inhaled a long deep breath as his thumb moved to approve the sending of the message... immediately crushing the holocom after it informed him of its successful delivery..

[member="Darth Arioch"] would recieve a private holocom recorded message from his Apprentice.
If he so chose to view it, he would see the holo form of his apprentice project before him in a kneeled position with his head bowed and his eyes on the floor.

"Master. I have come to a crossroads within my mind. And I have chosen the path I know will allow me to best serve you. I will take my leave from beneath your tutalidge in order to broaden my abilities on a grander scale. I know not where this path shall take me, but I will remain loyal to you always, first and foremost, and am taking this leave to become more powerful so that I may serve you in all things. I will become worthy of your recognition and approval, not just as the Mongrel Acolyte that you have the unfortunate blood ties to, but as a worthy son and heir that you will be proud to have further the Tapesh Line as well as bring your Legacy to the heights of your grandest ambitions. When I return to you Master I will be worthy to stand beside you, if I am not, then I will return to you the blood you wasted in my conception. This I vow.."

The Holomessage would end with the image of Ignitus rising to his feet, but his eyes remaining on the ground..

Ignitus would let the shattered pieces of the holocom fall to the floor between his boots before rising slowly and making his way through the main hold to the bridge.
His eyes that looked over the piloting controls then to the expanse of space before him were now burning with doubt filled fear that only served to fuel his rage that he directed inward at himself.
Upon releasing a beastial roar of anger he suddenly ignited both his white bladed sabers turning them against the Navicomputer of his ship, slicing them with ease.
As soon as his rampage began to tear into the controls the ship suddenly lurched into its max speed, turning and tilting randomly as it sped through the empty blackness.
Ignitus struggled to remain standing, eventually stumbling and rolling along the walls, slicing at stabbing at anything solid that he could attempt to destroy, eventually ending up in the Starboard enegine room.
The engine squeeled and crackled in protest as he plunged both sabers within it. The resulting explosion sending the Sith brute flying like a rag doll against the wall, the impact of his against the solid base of his ship nearly knocking him unconscious.
Ignitus growled audibly as he extinguished his sabers and slowly slid with his back against the wall down to the floor as his ships main systems began to fade and flicker till it was free floating through space, its intense speed taking many hours to slow.
Once it had slowed to a mere creep the only thing that would keep it in motion was the occasional bump into debris or small asteroid.
But Ignitus cared not.
Ignitus was fighting a losing battle with his own sanity inside the depths of his mind.
The only reason he had for living he just abandoned.
His sole purpose of existance was now no more..
Insanity won the day...
The former of Apprentice was truly lost as he and his ship free floated through the galaxy....
