Waverly made her way down the rustic wooden dock towards the yacht; it was indeed a lovely sight. This evening she wore a slim red sheath dress that hugged her curves in a very flattering way, and the low-cut back was a nice surprise to an otherwise modest dress. Though even she could admit that it was not the most practical dress when it came to walking, she had to take small careful steps. Kallum usually followed behind Waverly, but tonight he was well ahead of her, impatiently looking back every now and then. Of course, Waverly never stepped out lacking in accessories and tonight was no difference. She was bedazzled (tastefully) in sparkling jeweled earrings and a show piece of a necklace.
“Hi Sela!” Waverly called, waving up at the brown haired director. It looked like the crew had finished with the lighting set up and was on to testing the cameras. Kal offered his arm to assist Waverly up the ramp, which she managed with a surprising amount of grace, despite her tiny steps. The yacht swayed gently from side to side, much the way it would move if it were actually in the water. Her dark gaze eagerly took in her surroundings; there was a cozy cabin with a small sitting area and the crew had set up a table for two out in the open air of the deck. There was even a four piece quartet sitting off to the side, ready to serenade them.
She took in a deep breath of the fresh air and smiled, she fully expected that a blissful evening was ahead of her. Waverly was a bit busy daydreaming when she felt a tap on her shoulder, she turned to see Sela. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the members of the crew showing Kal to a quiet, unnoticed corner to keep him out of sight for the time being. Now was not the time to get distracted, and she turned her attention to Sela.

“Lovely to see you again, Miss Dane.” Sela said in greeting, but her eyes were on her data pad. Timing was always extremely important when you were going to film in natural light. Sela had grand plans to start the date on the bow of the ship during the ‘magic hour’ of twilight, as it was often referred to in the film community. She could already see their figures silhouetted against a soft golden sunset, it would be perfect, sometimes she even amazed herself. “Miss Dane, please move over to where that production assistant is standing.” Sela pointed for extra emphasis.
“It’s a perfect evening to watch a sunset and drink some champagne, right?” Sela smiled at Waverly and watched as their star was ushered away to her place on the bow. It would be a most special night; she knew that Waverly would be pleased with her date for the evening. After all he was a respected senator, and a noble; a woman’s dream. Senator d'Angele was already a public figure, this would cause ratings to skyrocket, and they needed to make sure to show him in a respectful yet entertaining light. If the Senator was as charming as he had been rumored to be, they would be in the clear. Sela stood straight, her posture border lining on severe, as she awaited the Senator’s arrival.
