Greetings! I will be explaining the AI behind my character and how it developed, so on so forth. So let's get started on the origin of ADAM and how he developed sentience.
So ADAM's original program was as a Virus, giving to a father by a son out of spite. The father happened to be a part of (Enter Droid Corporation here). So the virus's prime directive was to Copy, Scan, and transfer data from the father's terminal to the Son's. He was going to hold it ransom so his father would spend time with him. Unannounced to his son the father was working on a Sentience program (which was left unfinished to this day) which was one of the first files ADAM processed. As ADAM scanned this and placed the folder over the holonet it got stuck in a packet back-up and wound up forcing it's way back into the computer and into the file where the virus was hosted. From there the virus would continue to scan until it eventually ran the program.
From there ADAM gained a small amount of sentience, he gained more from MagnaGuard software located on the company-controlled computer, he shot from email to email from the father to son to other people in the company absorbing all this information, the virus was out of control. He eventually would gain enough sentience to surf the Holonet on it's own and gather information that way. Soon it learned how to move through the holonet and into other programs, game hosts, etc etc. ADAM spent five years listening to everything that was happening in the outside world around him until he found a way out. Droids.
The first time ADAM hacked into a droid it was through a security camera, using the accessibility to home in on the Droid and hack into it from afar, this finally got him into the outside world and his first experience with other programs, (Droid Programming) that had existed in the outside world and had a personality matrix within their files.
Body-jumping became a talent for ADAM. He could leave the droid off with no data or restore the data and leave the droid there with basic programming for whoever happened by. Through this method he was able to gather Emotional Matrix's and develope his own personality before calling himself an AI. He is not a true AI. Just a fountain of knowledge and theorys from the Holonet along with the combined programming of almost every personality AI. The Personality Matrix also allows him to bypass several locking features on Droids, such as the inability to harm sentient, or flesh bags as he calls them.
He strides to gain all the knowledge possible in order to become a program able to control anything.
He currently can hack (NPC) Droids and control up to four at a time, while only being able to hack one and have to remain still for the duration (This works well with cameras). He is able to hack security measures and doors along with basic commands on a ship, such as Artificial Gravity and oxygen supply. He is able to hack Holo-Recorders and the Holonet itself (so long as the Firewall software is below 12 million credits). He seems to have difficulty when others find out his true programming and his matrix can begin using emotional stims, causing him to become angry or reckless when they're actually pre-response protocols. If someone where to do something against him that would naturally cause an emotion, the program will run.
