IMPERIAL CONFEDERATION
CORELLIA,
CORE WORLDS
TimHzFP.png
For decades, Sularen had been exiled from his homeworld the results of the political machinations of the Diktats of Corellia and their little Confederation who once had opposed him. Even after his exile from Corellia the Diktats would continue to prove to be a thorn on his side pursuing their delusions of justice all because of some stupid Belters revolt. The rise of the Galactic Alliance only made matters worse creating a shield that protected Corellia from retaliation and ensured that Sularen's enemies would remain in their little seat of power leveraging their influence within the Galactic Alliance to further ostracize him within galactic affairs.

But now, the Galactic Alliance was gone and the Core Worlds were in turmoil. The Galactic Empire that defeated the Galactic Alliance would soon fall apart in the face of the machinations of the Sith Covenant quickly ending the dreams of an Imperial Core and putting a premature end to their plans to takeover the Green Jewel of the Core. Despite the world being sandwiched between the Sith Covenant and the High Republic, Sularen had decided that it was time to end his exile once and for all. With the Corellian Confederation in shambles following the dissolution of the Alliance and the Imperial incursion, there would be little resistance to his return and at long last he would be able to impose his will on Corellia and deliver judgement upon all who had wronged him all this time.

As such Sularen would soon find himself stepping outside an Imperial Gunship after it had made landfall within the hangars of the now abandoned military base known as Fort Bastion. In the wake of all the chaotic events that had plagued the Core Worlds it had been left abandoned which provided Sularen with the perfect staging area to execute his takeover of Coronet City and from there exert his influence across the entire planet. All around him the abandoned base was brimming with activity as Imperial forces began the slow process of occupying the military base and bringing it back to an operational state, while Imperial warships hovered above with Gunships and Shuttles repeatedly flying in and out of them to deliver more Imperial troops and supplies to the base.

Meanwhile the Imperial Supreme Commander would begin walking towards the edge of the base where Coronet City was visible against the horizon located just a few dozen kilometers away. Gazing upon the very city in which he grew up in Sularen smirked "Finally. After all this time, Corellia will be mine."

"Please inform my sister that while I have my residence now on Corellia, that does not mean that I cannot see her lack of attendance to her graduation school." Cynan sighed as he spoke to Sawel, his right hand. "Also, make sure that my day is free. I have received news of someone old coming back to Corellia and I desire to ensure his expectations are restrained."

Cynan had been working with several local groups and the disaster that happened not too long ago on Corellia was being efficiently reversed. The lives lost were never going to be restored but he was determined to have them remembered and their legacy honoured. They fought against imperial rule and damnation, they would not live in vain of that. Cynan sent several messages to those of in the High Republic, updating them on situations that he was dealing with while being on the ground of Corellia. He held off on the news he had learned about today, Cynan was more curious to see what this man would say to him and the intentions he stated before reporting the issue.

There was a small amount of hope that there could be some agreement formed. Even if there was strong ideological differences.

Especially on what Corellia should be and what it could be.

"I will be out for a few hours. If I do not report after 2 hours, send my guards to this location and inform the High Republic of either my disappearance or death. Both are quite possible," Cynan raised a hand when it was clear that Sawel wished to interject, "I understand the concerns but I rather handle this alone."

Departing from the newly renovated office that Cynan had constructed, the man let out a sigh as he realised the grand undertaking he was pursuing here. It was not something he had expected to be happening so soon after coming to Corellia and held hope that Corellia could be in the hands of the High Republic before this day. However, fortune seemed to not be on his side. Instead, he made his way to the abandoned military area. It was lucky that his informants had caught this incoming news. It would have reflected poorly on the hopeful politician if he had not caught someone attempting to make so big claims for the future of his new hope.

Arriving, Cynan walked with the confidence of someone not out of place, even though his attire did not scream military nor did his attitude. He was not a military man but he did not allow that to stop him in this moment. "It seems greetings are in order. I am Cynan Obaith. I've been working here on Corellia for a bit now to restore the wounds the Galactic Empire inflicted on the people here."

"What are your intentions, Mr. Sularen?"
