Veiere's turn of expression would be difficult to miss as [member="Théodred Heavenshield"] spoke of his father being the Grandmaster of the Silver Sanctum Coalition, a fact that had eluded their talks until now and one that greatly surprised the older male not on any part in neglect of Theodred's potential but rather he would never have expected to have someone so closely tied to the head of the Order, find him in his isolated exile on the other side of the Galaxy, on Alzoc Three. "Surely, you jest..." He scoffed in a mock-laugh, his tone of voice light and playful, showing nothing but his intrigue, surprise and even a hint of embarrassment in not having picked up on such a thing. "In all your suffering under listening after an old man speak of the forgotten ways of the Jedi and the standards that may have slipped; might I have known this, I would not have spoken to frivolously" he chuckled further, smiling to Theodred warmly and shaking his head; "Though it speaks widely for your character, I must say; the patience to adhere to an old fools dying dream.." he said exaggeratedly.
It was interesting to hear of the form of leadership in the Silver Sanctum Coalition, that this Assembly of theirs, much like a Jedi Council, was separate from the rest. It did not surprise him however that not all of the members were strictly Jedi, the younger of the two had spoken already on the variety of peoples within this form of the Order. This had been a difficult thing to accept initially, along with the news that the Order had collapsed entirely and splintered off into different directions yet the Jedi were always encouraged to keep an open mind; as he had and found that though the ways of his past differed some from the life of service that Theodred had taken up and described to him; it still held great merit and still in Veiere's mind, resembled the Jedi path that he could relate with, to some degree.
Veiere's attention was taken again as Theodred moved first to request some food be brought to them and then to the center of the room where the holo-display lit up and showed a very clear definition of the Silver Sanctum's corner of the Galaxy. Moving to stand, piqued in interest by this new showing, he moved to approach and take a stand beside the other, his eyes peering across the dotted systems and planets, every one of them that was under the sanctity and protection of the Silver Jedi. "The people are right to be suspicious of you. Not because you are people of ill-intention, clearly you are anything but that; it's the share fact that like the Sith Empire, yours is an organization of mostly Force users who have acquired a vast territory, that others come under your protection or perhaps in their eyes, your rule..." He spoke without bias, in a manner that emphasized the fear of the common people rather then the intentions of the Silver Sanctum itself. "Sadly, people will always fear what they are not able to come to understand or control themselves. It has always been this way, it's what leads governments to step to war and why the Jedi Order has always been faced with opposition, despite our attempt to preserve life and maintain balance in the force. Regardless of where we go, how hard we try and what we accomplish, there will always be others that question us...-Such is the difficulty of our path".
"Your mother and father will find their time ever challenging, the position of leadership but also the separation and the individuality of your cause, though you've amassed thousands to rally beside you, even the Jedi of the other systems may have questions and doubts..." His tone faded for a moment as he glanced to Theodred, offering something of a concerned glance before turning back to the holo-display. "If they are anything like you, your parents, I'm sure they will do the best for their people and that is all that should matter in their positions...-We can never hope to please the masses but do the best with what we're given...".
