A Chanced Meeting

Darren sat in the co-pilot seat and pointed at the chair next to him with an open hand. Darren flipped some switches and messed with the controls to get the right destination. He set it for his sanctuary where he could train Callum in peace. "Alright grip the joysticks and press this button to activate the engines." Darren let him Press it and continued "Now disengauge the legs with this lever. and we will be hovering above the ground." Darren flipped some switches on his side to unlock the steering mechanisms. "Now take us into the air."

Calum's eyes glistened with excitement as he realized that Darren was gesturing him to sit in the pilot's seat. He watched as his master flipped some switches and prepared the navigation to set course for wherever they were headed. "Alright grip the joysticks and press this button to activate the engines." Quickly, Calum reached forward and got hold of the ship's joystick and watched in delight as the button he pressed activated the ship's engine with a metallic whine. "Now disengauge the legs with this lever. and we will be hovering above the ground." Swiftly, the Corellian used the lever to retract the ship's legs. At last, they were off the ground. "Now take us into the air." Calum grinned happily as he moved the joysticks around to ascend them up to the higher levels of Coruscant. Soon, they could see the skyscrapers below them, and had left the steady hum of Coruscant's speeder traffic below them.

Darren could see the brightness from his apprentices face. Darren turned to a lever on the side. It would speed them up a shit load. "Calum pull up." He said as the lever went down slowly at first and went to the max giving them enough power to pass the pull of gravity. "Keep it steadied there." He laughed as they launched towards space.

"Calum pull up."
Calum continued to point the nose upwards, and the YT-1300 soon roared its powerful engines, and within a few (somewhat nauseous) seconds, they had passed the pull of planet Coruscant's gravity. "Keep it steadied there." Calum slowly steadied the ship as they flew out into space. Even in space, Coruscant was a busy place. Hundreds of other ships, both military and civilian, were heading in and out of the mega-city planet.
"Darren, are we going into hyperspace?" he asked.

Darren was smiling at Calums question. "How do you think were getting to the sanctuary? Yes we are going to travel in hyperspace." Darren saw on the monitors that they were almost there. The ship seemed to go fast as gravity was letting them go. there was a series of beeps that let them know there were in space. "Now push this lever."

"How do you think were getting to the sanctuary? Yes we are going to travel in hyperspace."
Calum continued to smile, excited to jump into lightspeed. It was the second time in his life that he would ever be in hyperspace. There was a series of beeps across the cockpit, which Calum had not much idea what it indicated. Coruscant was soon a tiny glowing planet behind them as they traveled quickly away. "Now push this lever." Calum nodded. After taking a quick breath, he pushed the lever. With a ear-breaking roar, the stars seemed to blur around them as they jumped right into hyperspace, on their way to Darren's 'sanctuary'.
