Byss
Byss, a more idyllic world would be hard to imagine. Indeed, if it weren't for the fact that it was hard to reach without using one specific hyperlane and the little issue with it being a dark side nexus, Byss would likely be the perfect spot that people pointed to and said, "I want to live there." There were chains of lakes inland of massive seas, windswept canyons and plateaus that begged to be explored, and beaches of untold beauty. The One Sith had made sure to capitalize on the peculiar nature of the planet, both being decidedly hard to reach and a dark side nexus. Resorts were erected along beaches, not to the point where they crowded one another, but enough so that they could handle a bustling business. Retreats, lake houses and other assorted luxury/tourism industries were brought in, kept under strict control by the powers that be to ensure that what happened on Byss did not travel far. It was a planet that the most powerful Sith Lords and Ladies could go to to relax, comforted by the defenses of the system and the fact of their powers being bolstered by the dark side nexus.
Alyssa lithely stepped down the ramp of the transport ship at a side terminal at Emperor's Space Port in the capital, Emperor's Ruling City. Palpatine had been either a really literal guy, or one with a decidedly sick sense of humor. Likely both. Either way it was split, the name of the city didn't truly fit. It was no longer a throne world to a galactic empire, it was where the rulers of the One true empire came to unwind where stray Jedi and their ilk would have next to no chance getting to. Alyssa had her only bag, she always liked to travel light. She moved swiftly through the terminal and out to a waiting taxi. She had a room reserved at Abyssal Lake Bed and Breakfast, so she told the droid driving her destination, then sat back and closed her eyes. She had never known that a planet could feel so good. The very air seemed to seep with bridled anger and rage, pain and the toil of untold thousands. It was a balm for Alyssa's soul, and while she didn't really need a balm, a girl could always do with a spa weekend.
A little over an hour in the taxi found Alyssa deposited along one of the myriad chains of lakes at an expansive bed and breakfast on Abyssal Lake. In the distance Desolation Peak could be seen, jutting out of the next lake in the chain. ALBNB had one of the best rated spa's on the planet, with live staff trained in all the amenities offered, instead of droids programmed for such. It was the little, personal touches that made such things worth while.
Alyssa deposited her things in her suite of rooms and changed into a simple grey bathing suit. It fit well, but didn't show all that much skin. She wasn't here to impress anyone, she was here to be comfortable between missions. She grabbed a big fluffy towel and headed down to the pool. The lights from Emperor's Ruling City could be seen in the distance beyond Desolation Peak through the windows on the aquatic level. Alyssa claimed a chair and deposited her towel there before diving into the water. She swam to the bottom and then went limp, floating in the salt water pool languidly with a very large smile on her face.
